7 pointsSitRep: Most of the tiles are now on the new standard. Still to do are the coastal tiles and the city river tiles. I hope i can do this tomorrow. The problem of my very first terrains are "potholes" in the landscape. To cure this will need some time. But i hope i can release a first Beta version of DRV 2.0 terrain on sunday.

6 pointsThere are other things here, my account problem, well... my paypal has not been working, but when I need it, I will find a way, such as finding my friends, such as paying through other channels etc... Anyway, I don't intend to "escape" CA, the mods I make here, if I can confirm that they are indeed legal (because even after a lot of transformation ,almost 90% of my materials come from the Internet), then I will publish them.

6 pointsSome WIP projects, because a friend mentioned this, J-11 family It's like a tree with many branches: 11A 11A (MLU) 11B 11BH 11BG 11BHG. They usually have subtle or significant differences in the layout of MWS, HUD, engine, radar, etc. This requires me to make adjustments in many aspects such as model, skin, data, avionics, etc., which is also a very tedious task.

3 pointsI started a small update of the DRV terrain to bring it on SF2 standard and give it a better tileset. WIP Screenshot shows old and new tiles. The new tiles i have taken from Rio de la Plata terrain. They are basing on Green hell tileset.

2 pointsHello everyone! The Mirage IIIS is the whole different aircraft compared to the Mirage IIIs series. This aircraft is so interesting and unique with many of customizations, including the technologies of Mirage III and Hughes radar for HM-55 (AIM-26B). It have been journey connecting the dots and matching the puzzles. By analog, it is like discovering the fossil pieces and you try to put it together, some of it match one dinosaur while some belong to other dinosaur. Same thing with Mirage IIIS various pictures I found. What I realized is that Mirage IIIS have gone through upgrade during 1988. So Pre 1988, the cockpit of Mirage IIIS did not show RWR and it have more simple navigation moving map scope below the radar scope. And I noticed how the radar scope look a lot like MA-1 of F-106. Then I learned that Hughes TARAN 18 based on F-106's MA-1 FCS. Interesting! The radar (Mirage IIIS Early) Cockpit of Post 1988 upgrade Mirage IIIS: NOTE: Notice the different scope for navigation moving map and the RWR right side of radar scope. And there is light gray bar on front right part of the scope. Radar (Mirage IIIS Late) NBOTE: I want to comment that, It is quite challenging to find the actual picture of post 1988 upgrade radar scope. This is the best one I can find. This was a 'hit and miss" when I found the Mirage IIIS mod for flight simulation. There are picture of radar scope. ere is screenshot of Mirage IIIS (Early) TW Style version: Mirage IIIS (Late) TW Style version: I am currently learning about modding Avionics70.DLL. I would like to share the notes I found from researches: Eagle114th

Simmers Paint Shop Color Chips 6/29/2025 With the loss of Simmers Paint Shop, a lot of fantastic information has been lost forever for those texture artists that like the ability to fully match the proper colors for any and (mostly) all eras and countries. Listed are not only the color chips, the the R/G/B and Hex values to (re)create them in your own image manipulation programs (GIMP, Photoshop, Paint.net, etc) These are given the US Federal Standard, and for Luftwaffe, the RLM converted to FS coding. I don't remember when I found these, but here they are. Included are the original png format images, and I've converted them to jpgs for easier viewing with various and sundry programs. Be advised, the images are QUITE large, so you'll need to zoom in on them. Included herein are chips for: Japan - IJN, IJAAF, JASDF Germany - Luftwaffe RLM/RAL UK - RAF British Standard Russia/Soviet Union - VVS colorlist USA - USAF, USN, US Army I hope you enjoy these, and make good use of them!!! Even though I uploaded to the SF2 category, these are usefull for any and all games or what-have-yous that you'd like to use them for!! :) Wrench Kevin Stein -
1 pointhello all, im trying to make the F and D model takeoffs run more like the G an H models where they have that is the weird little almost nose down attitude and gentle lift off runway ( if you dont apply any input). currently the D and Fs im working with try to imitate the Phantom jocks with sharp pitched climbs. pretty sure a Big Belly D shouldnt be 1000ft over the runway at the halfway mark. what entries in the data ini should i be looking at to adjust/ match to the G?

1 pointThanks for your message, I'll just answer here so all are in the loop....yes, as mentioned I plan to include a completely new USS Maddox. I'm not really a ship builder, but will try my best! Here is just first rough cut of mesh, hull, etc. - still long way to go.

1 pointYes...but still all those mods are free...made by players. What makes that 100$ little too much in my opinion. Honestly, I would pay 100 for this, knowing that the game is still being cared for by developers. With current "care" status...I am not sure.

Version v3
500 downloads
This is a completely new version of the Galicia terrain. The new terrain includes new tiles and TODs, adjustments to the height map, many new targets and objects, winter and summer tiles. All necessary ground objects are included in the download. Galicia was the name of a territory in north-eastern Hungary and was the scene of major fighting during the First World War. It was invaded by the Russians early in the war, was recaptured by the Austro-Hungarians later, and invaded by the Russians again even later. This download includes all the ground objects necessary for the Eastern Front. A more complete ReadMe file is included in the download. I have included instructions for updating an existing install or for making a completely new install. Instructions for both FE1 and FE2 are included. New in Version 3 I have made all new farm and city tiles with new TODs. I have made many adjustments to the height map and changed the amount of tree and rough areas. Both summer and winter terrains are included. I have added a lot of detail to the battle fields, including machine gun placements, Austrian infantry units, debris in the battle fields, and more detail in the artillery batteries. I have added a lot of buildings to make the cities more crowded. I repainted the existing building skins and made some new buildings. I have added static aircraft to all the airfields and made many changes to the buildings, objects and other details to increase diversity. I have added about a dozen new airfields, field hospitals, and cavalry camps. I revised many of the ground objects and skins, and made some new ones for this terrain. All necessary ground objects are included in the download. Credits Gerwin's TFD editor was most helpful in making this terrain. I would not have been able to do it without this outstanding utility. I have included many of Geezer's maintenance figures, airfield objects, and AA machine guns in this download. Geezer also made some artillery for this project.
