4 pointsHey there, my dear friends! I’m excited to share that I’ve finally finished my treatment! It felt like it took ages, but I’m relieved to be on the other side now. I’m in the recovery stage, which will take about 3 to 4 weeks. After that, hopefully, I can start eating normally again, although I’m still missing my sense of taste, haha! I’ve been taking it easy and, believe it or not, I think I’ve lost around 12 kilograms during this time. It’s been quite the journey, but I’m staying positive and hoping for some great news soon, inshallah. I just want to say a huge thank you to all of you for your incredible support. It means the world to me! Take care and chat soon, Mohamad.

3 pointsHere an other airbase made by Wrench: Nakhon Phanom RTAFB I have simplyfied it a little bit because of my old computers performance. If Wrench makes an add on to DRV 2.1 he will surely include the original base. In the last days i was working on truck routes. I have located all of them in the Vinh area and placed some Flak in that area. So Armoured Recon missions are not as boring as usual anymore.

3 pointsI sunk a Sampan! I made the stock vSampan2 to an groundobject. Gave it NVietnam as nation and it worked properly. More or less. The only small problem is, that the Sampan is moving sidewards on the sea.

2 pointsin the works, and coming soon (designed for when I finish the Iberia map) NEW!!! Completely rebuilt and more accurate C.15 Hornet for EDA. The mod from 2009 is udder shite, even though this is based off that old one. vastly improved with things that actually work as advertised (!!!). F-16AM for PoAF, nation specific. lots of new 'fiddly bits' A-7P for PoAF. Yes, I know there's a DLC for that, but we've got plenty of cheapass MFs around that won't buy a subscription, let alone a DLC from TK/3rdWire. (both seen recently in the "Transitions" screen shots thread) Both the F-16 and A-7P are based off TMF's birds (A-7A with A-7E cockpit and electronics).

2 pointsActually, I just adapted them from a SF1 mod by Tannenthal. He gets all the original credit. Looking good on DRV!!! ======== re: sideways sampan. Pretty sure the 'world center' is probably off. I have a cargo ship that does the same thing. Maybe try moving the 'thrust angle' 90 degrees to the direction of motion? Or remove the ship wake effect? (tell folks as it's under sail, it tacking with the winds?)

1 pointI am really interested to see the outcome of your hard work. I hope it will improve the game. One of the things I would like to see is air refueling. Keep up the digging. I hope you can find the SF treasure box. P.S. Two more things to see: a pilot eject with a parachute and if there is a chance to add more animation IDs.

1 pointHello my friend! Excellent questions, and this is steps I am working on: 1) Finish working on compiling the text files with list of Class and function associated with them. 2) Analyze and make the list of already available codes for full reference of usage for each tyipes of .ini for cockpits and avionics related 3) Start experimenting modifying the DLL files and see if it works on SF2. I do not have the team. I hope, eventually someone will start the team. Eagle114th

1 pointI remember filling LOTS of holes on the WW2 New Guinea terrain. I just called them "impact features" from asteroid strikes. But, yeah, it's time consuming and nerve racking!!!

1 pointI have deleted all parked aircrafts and helicopters. Perhaps they were the reason for the slideshow experience, which i had on my old computer. I think it would be a good idea, if you would make some addons for DRV terrain with more detailed airfields. Let me first finish the terrain and then you may start with improvements. At the moment i rework the last target areas and check for mistakes, like Flak hidden in houses. And i'm still looking for the "potholes" in the heightfield and fill them up to terrain level. (Needs more time as expected.) Finally i will rework the DRV-movements.ini. And perhaps i get it working that the stock Sampans will act as moving ships on shipping routes. Maybe. I hope that i can finish my work on DRV 2.0 terrain in the third week of August.
