  3. Great project! I made the 5F flyable too and have added the RPK-17 but only used the stock skin. Weapons in French service were very basic: MATRA rocket pods (usually on inboard stations ) LAU-32 rocket pods ( outboard stations, for training ) Slick and retarded bombs, 250 and 400 kg, French SAMP series and Mk82 , two in tandem on centerline and RPK-17 fueltank/bombrack combo which can hold up to 4x 250 kg bombs The Dassault 5F promo picture also shows AS.30RC , centerline station, but I dont know if this was used operationally 5F never got RWR A2A missiles.. I cant remember the details, they had none at first ( main mission purely A2G ) but I think they were modified later for AIM-9B/F or even Magic BTW, check the fuel capacity value of the RPK-17 data ini, the BFT-type tank is working correctly since November2009 updates ( or one update earlier, cant remember ) but the old editor always deleted the fuel ~ edit: changed pics to links edit 2: some speiling ...

  9. eh.. in that picture above.. perhaps the Mirage pilot isnt training hard enough... ? the picture is shown upside down, btw... turn it 180 degree for a correct view the actual gunsight/pipper is lagging way behind the F-16 only the fuselage reference line cross is on the F-16 but that doesnt mean anything since both players are moving rapidly.. guns wouldnt hit its a nice picture but really has no meaning... for a valid (training kill) several frames with the pipper on the target are required and now .. NOTE!! with writing that I only try to interpret the gun cam picture... I DO NOT speak either pro Argentina or pro USAF !! and now .. part two : back to topic ... Dhimar vs Paran only is cool.. done that with the stock campaign in SFP1 some years ago.. and I played with a mercenary squadron flying the Gnat EDIT: YEAH!

  11. Yep.. 4 pods. Flak surpression mission. He set one pod to single fire by own iniative. In his attack he fired 3 full pods in ripple mode and a single Zuni from the pod set to single fire. All in a single attack run/firing . Thus he had 3 Zunis left. He caught some bad words for that .. 'cause he was supposed to surpress AAA with ALL of his Zuni's .. and not going after MiG's But Swartz was a fighter pilot ( F-8 community ) Good thing that he got the MiG with his 3rd and last Zuni ...
  12. test instruments I have a F-15C Baz cockpit photo.... just have to find it what the IDF hasnt got was mainly the jammer stuff of the TWES, the RWR "screen" was the same as on US kites... iirc. In the 1985 delivered MSIP C and D 's for sure.

All stock HUD tga's and most later add-on HUD files only need the gunsight tga files RGB layer repainted. the RGB channel for the other tga's are clear, the game picks the color from the entry in the avionics ini file. [HUD] HUDColor=0.0,1.0,0.0,0.7 ... the first three values set the color, the fourth value is brightness or transparency.. dont remember ... some basic color values are : 0.0,0.0,0.0 - black 0.0,0.0,1.0 - blue 0.0,1.0,0.0 - green 0.0,1.0,1.0 - cyan 1.0,0.0,0.0 - red 1.0,0.0,1.0 - magenta 1.0,1.0,0.0 - yellow 1.0,1.0,1.0 - white examples:

  20. cockpit works in sf2.. but its position is too low = not visible on the runway .. take off and it will pop into place..
