Sub Category

All SF2 Series Simulation Modifications and Add-Ons

    1. I used ianh755's updated V4.0 version of Dave & Sundowners original Tornado GR1 & GR4 series and F3 cockpit.
All included models are optimized for

      1st, the most important thing.
If you want to enjoy low level flying, you must change missioncontrol.ini file !

      BACKUP ORIGINAL VALUES !!!

Then use our missioncontrol, that you can find as archive in our pack.

      =======================================================================================

      we added:

      =======================================================================================
      Fanatic Modder's and Guuruu's Tornado GR.1 version 2.3
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------

      So,

This is really serious upgrade .
Only Tornado GR.1, IDS and ECR are in this pack.

      What is new ?
      -------------------

We tried to get flight model as close to real Tornado as possible, so aerodynamic model
      is new .
All planes have correct (reworked) engines, wing-sweep positions, max G for turning and
new cockpits (with lots of working lights).
We tested their acceleration, fuel consumption (it's still not perfect but better it was),
      turning and climb rate.
We also added correct skin for Italian IDS 81 .
Weapons are no longer separate download, also missioncontrol.ini is inside of pack.

We decided to remove GR.4 from this files. She is far from finish and will be published
      as separate files.

You will find 11 planes in this pack:

      RAF:
      -----
      GR1 82 Early production
GR1 90 Better engines, more weapons than 82 model (in fact it is GR.1B with Sea Eagles)
I thought there is no sense to create same plane with only +Sea Eagles.
GR1 90 DESERT STORM Simply GR1 90 with desert camo (plane and weapons)
      GR1A Recon version of GR1 90

      Luftwaffe:
      ------------
GERMAN ECR HARM armed Tornado with Mk.105 engines
      GERMAN IDS 79 similar to GR1 82
GERMAN Marineflieger IDS (with Kormorans and HARMs)
GERMAN IDS 06 which is continuation of Marine IDS after they were transferd to Luftwaffe.

      Italians:
      ---------
ITALIAN ECR as german ECR but Italians didn't replace engines for Mk.105 and they use GPS JDAMS
ITALIAN IDS 81 very close to german IDS, can use JP233 insteed MW1

      Saudi Arabia:
      -----------------
      SAUDI GR1 93 similar to british GR1 90

      SKINS:
      --------
Every plane has only 1 skin.

      INSTALLATION:
      --------------------
We higly recommend to remove/backup all earlier versions of OUR(!) GR.1 or ECR Tornadoes.
Then unpack this download and copy/paste (overwrite if needed) all files to your
      MODS folder .

    3. This is total pack of IAI Kfir versions used by Israeli Air Force.
Pack contains all required models and it is based on regular TW model and available mods on Combat Ace.

All skins are based on templates by ludo.m54 => http://combatace.com...ge-5-templates/

Ive edited ini files mostly in weapon stations to seperate bomb stations from IRM, FT etc. Also removed some lines of unrealistic loadouts (like inboard IRM,lgb on belly station etc.)

Two seater mod is based on denisoliveira models. Ive renamed all required folder /fake pilots/ mods to avoid causing problems with older versions.

You need fake pilot mod to run some of the parts from this pack.

To run this mod you need also access to TW lod files from SF2:I (lods and cockpits for Kfir)
Generaly full merged instal of SF2 family is recomended.

All canopies can be open by Shift+1 animation key.

Aircrafts in this pack will apear as:

Kfir C2 - most common version, with bigger canards, additional pylons,
Kfir C7 last version of Kfir with engine and avionics improvments.

All skins are done by me in 2048x2048 format based on templates by ludo.m54

Kfir C2 and C7 can carry MER and TER bomb racks. To have realistic loadouts I've made seperate weapon racks for Kfir based on regular racks (diameter and weight limits)

      Credits:

Ive made all decals for all versions covering years of use in IAF based on available reference materials.

      Kills decals.
Ive mede new decals sets covering kills due to aircraft / squadron / year. Not all of them are 100% acurate but i was trying to do my best. For sure kills needs some updates in the future.

Also if user needs can change real kills markings to standard TW type of kills which will be based on actual player score. You have to edit decal.ini file by removing specific lines. Also required lines for different kills are already there.

    5. RAAF No.77 Sqn Meteor F8 Korean War(Aug 1951)

For Strike Fighters 2 NA with Korea Terrain(Korea3).

This campaign with some 34 missions cover the operations of the RAAF No.77 Sqn in the periode Jul 29 to Aug 31, 1951 in the Korean War.
The squadron was based at Kimpo K-14(from Jul 25, 1951)and his first three CO were: Sqn Ldr R.C.Creswell(from Sep 19, 1950 to Aug 18, 1951), Sqn Ldr Gordon Steege(from Aug 18, 1951 to Dec 31, 1951)and Sqn Ldr Ron Susans(from Dec 31, 1951).
By the Korean War, RAAF No.77 Sqn take in charge 88 Meteor F8 and two T7 two-seaters.
54 Meteors were lost in Korea and Japan. Six were downed by MiGs and other six were damaged.
No.77 Squadron RAAF made claims for 6 MiGs, but actually, only two were downed(both PLAAF)and two others were damaged.
From Dec 1, 1951, after a operation ambush to wipe out RAAF No.77 Sqn set by Gen Lobob(CO of the V-VS 303th FAD)the Australian unit was assigned as interceptor for defense of Suwon K-13 and Kimpo K-14 and then to ground attack.
Lobob´s operation dont wipe out RAAF No.77 Sqn(three Meteors downed and one damaged. One 176th GvIAP MiG damaged)but succeded in putting the australian squadron out of business as active fighter unit in "MiG Alley".
Also, losses of the day leave the unit with 14 Meteors and this was considered insufficient to mantain a Squadron effort.
