This is a complete rework of v1.0.
Things changed or added over the previous version:
- 3 Skins in higher resolution (4096x4096)
- added new Pylon/Missilerail models, aswell as some new details added via ini-edit and fakepilot
- added new droptanks (2 types of 150gal., 2 types of 300gal. and a 400gal. Tank)
- changed cockpit to a modified A-4F-cockpit

VT-86 Sabrehawks, 1983 to 1989, NAS Pensacola, Florida, 11 planes
Installation
============
I recommend, you delete the files from the old version 1.0 before you install the new version. The files are at the folders below:
- Objects\Aircraft\TA-4J
- Objects\Decals\TA-4J
- Objects\Weapons\Tank300_TA-4J_VT21f
- Objects\Weapons\Tank300_TA-4J_VT21w
1. unzip to a temporary folder
2. open "Put_content_in_your_MOD folder" and do as you were told, if asked to overwrite, say 'yes' :P
3. enjoy!
If the Squadron is missing in the loadout screen, you should add the following lines in the squadronlist.ini ("<mod>\pilotdata"-folder) with XXX changed to the next free number:
[SquadronXXX]
Name=VT7
DisplayName=VT-7 'Eagles'
Nation=USN
[SquadronXXX]
Name=VT21
DisplayName=VT-21 'Fighting Red Hawks'
Nation=USN
[SquadronXXX]
Name=VT86
DisplayName=VT-86 'Sabrehawks'
Nation=USN

StrikeFighter2 World War II Pacific Theater (PTO) Hi-Res 1920x1080 Menu Screens and Music! Version 3
StrikeFighter2 World War II PTO Hi-Res Alternate 1920x1080 Menu Screens and Music!
By Viper
I just recently downloaded the "All inclusive SF2 Pacific Theater Operations" (PTO) package from the A-Team site. Excellent package, but the menus were not to my liking...soooo...I upgraded them. These menu screens are tailored for that package, but it should work for any SF2 game with a Pacific WWII theme!
You should unzip the file and preview the new screens before installing them. I recommend doing to see if you like the screens before installing them.
If you choose to install these screens, I recommend that you back up (make a copy of) your FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders in the SF2 Mod folder you're installing this mod into. Just in case you want to go back to your original setup.
To install, simply unzip and copy the uncompressed FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders to your StrikeFighter2 mod folder.
To remove, simply delete the FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders and rename the copies you made to FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders.
My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97\10 64-bit would be something like...
C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\<Name of your PTO mod folder>\
Enjoy!
PS. Check out my Init Screen mod in the "InitScreen Extra" folder...

SF2 TA-4F Skyhawk "Fast FACS" by 331Killerbee & Co.
This is the full package (all necessary parts included), originally created by 331Killerbee in 2008. It has been fully updated to SF2 standards, with various small changes to the aircraft and the data ini.
As with my other SF2 "fixes" for the TA-4 series, some components have been 'removed' to stop the shadow tractor beams. The FM is at the latest SF2 standard (latest patch level) Other changes include (but not limited too):
resetting all hit boxes
randomization of decals
"fake insignia" decal to activate Nation displayed name.
All weapons used are stock 3W.
Killerbee's original readme (well, actually this document!) is included for historical purposes, and it's historical background on the Fast FACs.
Have fun!!

StrikeFighter2 World War II (ETO) Hi-Res 1920x1080 Menu Screens and Music!
By Viper
This mod includes custom "World War II" themed menu screens and pilots for the ETO package I hope someone will make in the future (if not already made that I don't know about). You should unzip the file and preview the new screens before installing them. I recommend doing this as there are MANY alternate screens I have in there that you might like better.

My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97 64-bit would be something like...
C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\<Name of your ETO mod folder>\
Enjoy!

To be used on SF2 Douglas C-54 Skymaster by Veltro2K available here : https://combatace.com/files/file/14309-sf2-douglas-c-54-skymaster-by-veltro2k/
These skins represent the schemes used by the RCAF on their C-54 North star with the No. 412 Transport Squadron.
The serial numbers in this skin pack along with planes numbers are real one's.
Some details will be different then real life RCAF C-54 as they are model related (RCAF Aircraft were using Merlin engines).
You will get the following skins in this package :
48-58 Era
58-65 Era
58-65 Era (United Nations)
66-68 Era
Installation:
Copy the FOLDERS of the current pack objects/aircraft folder in your game C-54 aircraft folder.
Copy the FOLDERS of the current pack objects/decals folder in your game C-54 decals folder.
Open the Textureset.ini and edit the file by adding the texture.ini lines.
Open the Userlist.ini and edit the lines for Canada service years.
All decals are made by me. I completely redraw the panel lines and rivets.
Serials are real one's and squadron specific.
Credits:
Thanks to Thirdwire for creating the Strike Fighters series.
Thanks to Veltro2K for the C-54 model.
Thanks to Wrench for the base template i used.
Thanks to me for the redraw of the lines and paint work :).
Happy flights!
