      Inside there are updated Fan Song radars and launcher data files.

    5. Improved Wingtip Vortex v1.0.rar

      Improved Wingtip Vortex Effect pack Version 1.0 by Eagle114th
       
      The purpose of this add-on effect mod is to improve the graphic of wingtip vortex in Strike Fighter 2. I have noticed that wingtip vortex, by default, looks bit unrealistic. So I have decided to improve these, inspired by modders from Combat Ace community, especially by Wrench and Stary. I am very thankful for this wonderful community and I am more than proud to be part of Combat Ace commmunity sharing my hobbies within Strike Fighter 2.       INSTALL INSTRUCTION:
       
      1) MAKE SURE YOU back up your EFFECT folder!
       
      2) Extract this file using winrar or 7zip tools and you will see a folder called "Improved Wingtip Vortex v1.0"
       
      3) There are two folders with types of wingtip vortex:
       
      - Straight trails Version = new wingtip vortex effect with straight trails
      - Shakey trails Version = new wingtip vortex effect with shakey trails
       
      You can only pick ONE of these two folders, you can't have both at the same time. You can try one of these two version first. Then try other and see which one you like the best. However, inside these folder you will see "Effect" folder, drop them in your strike fighter 2 mod folder and overwrite when asked.
       
      4) ENJOY!

      Known BUGS/Problem:
       
      Shakey version of wingtip vortex trails disappears at specific angle when you view them, this is due to nature of 2D. I have tried creating 3D volumetric version of wingtrip vortex, they got too complicated and hogs cpu and memories lot. I had to cancel my project of converting 2D wingtip vortex from 2D to 3D, to avoid heavy cpu and memories hogging for anyone's computer. I intend to make this mod very friendly for any computer. That is exactly why I created two version of wingtip vortex (straight and shakey).

    7. SON-9A "FIrecan" AAA Fire Control Radar

      SON-9A "Firecan" by Julhelm.
       
      This model represents a SON-9 (NATO reporting name, Firecan) fire control radar. It's set up to datalink with the KS-19 100 MM AAA gun. I've included the data.ini file with the appropriate network edits to allow that weapon to work in conjunction with the SON-9.
       
      This model is set up as "Static_AAA", as that is the only way that it will work properly. That is, track its target, network with the aforementioned gun types, and to illuminate the "AAA" warning light on an aircraft's annunciator panel.
       
      INSTALLATION:
       
      Simply drop the Firecan and the KS-19 folders into the Objects/GroundObject subfolder, under the Saved Games/Thirdwire/Strike FightersX folder. If warned about a file or folder overwrite (which should be the case for just the KS-19), simply accept the overwrite and continue.
       
      The game engine will automatically place the unit wherever it deems fit.
       
      Known issue: This model will not cast a shadow, and only the developer can rectify that.
       
      Model and textures by Julhelm, data.ini work by Fubar512.
       
       
      *Be advised to rename/remove/move any other versions of the Firecan*

    11. Control Tower.7z

      Replacement Control Tower for the bland stock one.
       
      Just extract,then copy n paste,the Terrains folder to your mods\ SF2E\Terrains\GermanyCE folder,or move the Tower1.LOD and Control Tower.bmp to the above folder.
       
      This will replace all stock tower1 models in any terrain.It wont alter your files as the stock lod isnt available,and this model uses different texture names from stock.
       
      Model and Textures by me.
      Hope you like.
       
      Also supplied camera positioon,if you know how to edit it,if not will update as soon as I can.

      This mod will give you bunch of different camera angles. The positions are for the F-14 Tomcat, so they might seem off when you fly other aircraft. But most of the time this shouldn't bother you. You can edit the positions in the Viewlist.ini if you wish.

      FEATURES (Key assignments)
      ------------------------------------------------------------
       
      Keys ALT+(1 to 7) when pressed with switch to various camera angles on your aircraft. These angles are controllable via the mouse and pressing them continuesly will cycle between all aircraft. When pressed with CTRL+(1 to 7) will switch to previous aircraft.
       
      Key ALT+8 will cycle through all Weapons, friendly and enemy that are in the air. All SAMS, bombs, missiles..
       
      The F5 key is modified based on Stary's Viewlist (FOV settings)
      As a plus you can cycles between all aircraft.
       
      The SHIFT+F5 is the default Check Six View. As a plus you can yaw/pitch using the mouse.
       
      F9 key will cycle through all missiles fired by you.
       
      Take note that all these key are free to use in a stock controller.ini. If you have a modified one that merge with caution.
       
       
      NOTES

      On my game, sometimes after I switch from the Weapon Views back to the external view, the sounds of the engine are missing. I have to do a PAUSE/UNPAUSE to cure it. Don't know why this happens...

      Known issues
       
      1. CV-67 is not a member of the Kitty Hawk-class. However, there is no existing model for the JFK, nor is there going to be one in the foreseeable future. However, she is a historically significant vessel and was closely based on the Kitty Hawk carriers, so I have chosen to place her with them.

      this is set of new models for Crusader's "Soviet Manpads" pack for Strike Fighters 2 series
       
      Created with the aid of freeware "soldier02" model by ? available at free3dmodels.com, rebuild and tweaked by me
      Sa-7, Sa-16, Sa-18, Sa-24 models by me*
       
      This pack updates the visuals of all units from Crusader's mod, namely:
       
      SA-7 "Grail" - GRAU 9K32 Strela-2
      SA-7b "Grail" - GRAU 9K32M Strela-2M
      SA-14 "Gremlin" - GRAU 9K34 Strela-3
      SA-16 "Gimlet" - GRAU 9K310 Igla-1
      SA-18 "Grouse" - GRAU 9K38 Igla
      Sa-24 "Grinch" - GRAU 9K338 Igla-S
       
      I tried to give the models some variety in look, so some are standing and some are firing from keeling positions. Some have ugly box with additional missiles near them.
      The models are "generic" enough to possibly serve for various armies and time periods.
       
      Also slightly tweaked, more visible effect for launched missiles is included. Use at own risk ;)

      This exhaust effect was inspired by the work of Deuces, Fubar512 and Spillone104.
       
      This exhaust effect is compatible with both SF2 and SFP1.
       
      This New Dirty Exhaust Effects package includes a NewDirtyExhaustEmitter.ini which can be used to supplement the old DirtyExhaustEmitter.ini in your Effects folder for some additional exhaust effect variety.
       
      The New Dirty Exhaust Effect will generate a longer and less dense exhaust plume than the Dirty Bird Exhaust Effect.
       
      The New Dirty Exhaust Effect is configured so that it may be used in either single engine or multiple engine aircraft. The DirtySingleExhaustEmitter will produce slightly less exhaust volume than the DirtyDualExhaustEmitter when used on a dual engine aircraft if you want to decrease the volume of smoke signature for your multi-engine models.
       
      If you wish to have a slightly more smokey single engine aircraft, you could utilize the DirtyDualExhaustEmitter in a single engine aircraft.
       
       
       
      You can easily choose between the two effects to get whatever exhaust smoke trails happen to suit you!
       
      Both of these exhaust effects can be applied to single, dual or multi-engined aircraft models.
       
      This File is Freeware and can not be sold or included in any Payware software.

      This exhaust effect was inspired by the work of Deuces, Fubar512 and Spillone104.
       
      After looking at lots of photos of the billowing smoke trails generated by the phantastic F-4 Phantom; I wanted to try to duplicate these big, greasy skidmarks in the sky.
       
      The Dirty Bird Exhaust Effect is configured so that it may be used in either single engine or dual engine aircraft. The DBSingleExhaustEmitter will produce slightly more exhaust volume than the DBDualExhaustEmitter when used on a dual engine aircraft if you really want to accelerate global warming.
       
      If you wish to have a slightly less smokey single engine aircraft, you could utilize the DBDualExhaustEmitter in a single engine aircraft.
       
      This exhaust effect is compatible with both SF2 and SFP1.
       
      Also included in the Dirty Bird Exhaust Effect package, is a particularly striking loading screen of the dirty end of a West German F-4F Phantom.
       
      This File is Freeware and can not be sold or included in any Payware software.

      there are 3 versions of the ACES II seat includet the early the late-forward and the late-rear one
       
      just drop the ACES_II_F-15 , ACES_II_F-15_Front and ACES_II_F-15_Rear folder´s in to your Pilots folder
       
      Data_ini and Cockpit_ini files for all F-15 versions of the F-15_Pack and TW F-15 are includet , you have to replace the Data_ini file with the ones that are includet here , if you have a edited data_ini and dont like to use the one includet here you have to copy the remove part from the AircraftData (for TMF F-15) and the Pilot/WSO postion and Seat position to your data_ini

      there are two versions of the ACES ii seat includet the red colored and the green colored one , red for the early B-1B and green for the later B-1B version
       
      just drop the ACES_II_B-1Bg and ACES_II_B-1Br folder in to your Pilots folder
       
      Data_ini and Cockpit_ini files for all B-1B versions are includet , if you have a edited version of the data_ini change only the pilots and seat position as shown below but you have to replace the Cockpit_ini file with the ones that are includet here , if you dont the seat will not be displayed in the right position
       
      Note: use the Pilots position as the Seat position
