      This mod includes additional C-130 or other cargo plane pilots. Not sure where the base pilot I modded came from, I think I got the pilot from a different mod. If anyone knows, please drop me a line so I can properly credit the creator of the LOD file.
       
      To use the pilots, please add them to your "Pilots" folder and update your "<plane>DATA.INI" file's "Crew" section to display them in your planes.

      This mod includes custom exhaust emitters to replace the stock Clean and Dirty emitters. I've been tweaking these for about a year now (!) and I think I finally have it the way I like it.
       
      If you're for vapor ripples or greasy streaks in the sky, these ain't it. The Clean emitter has just a tad bit more presence so you can see it when looking back. The Dirty emitter blooms darkly behinds the plane and fades into transparency.
       
      If you choose to install these effects, I recommend that you back up your current "Effects" folder. Just in case you want to go back to your original setup.
       
      To install, simply unzip and copy the uncompressed "To_Mod_Folder" folder to your "Saved Games" mod folder(s).

    3. UPDATED NATIONS LIST

      This is an updated NATIONS list.
       
      I included as much nations and services as I could.
       
      I disactivated the active dates, so no more planes with <none> air force as it was happening when the service dates are before the active date.
       
      I modified also the 'PilotTrainingStandard' for some nations.
       
      Examples:
       
      Now the SOVIET is 'excellent' as it should have been in the first place.
       
      AFRES, ANG and USArmy are 'normal', not 'excellent'.
       
      This is a tough decision to make, because the pilot training standard improved or deteriorated during the course of time.
       
      So people should adjust it according to the expansion pack/campaign that they are using.
       
      Examples:
       
      Russia should be POOR in the 1990s, NORMAL in the 2000s and EXCELLENT in the 2010s.
       
      Iran should be POOR until around 2000, afterwards NORMAL.
       
      Iraq should be NORMAL until 1992, afterwards POOR.
       
      Also, I forgot to mention, all speech files have been adjusted for the speech pack, sometimes not exactly accurate e.g.
       
      Switzerland uses German and Bulgaria Russian, but surely more appropriate than USAF speech!

    4. RSS SA-2 Guideline Pack Public Test Beta

      RED SIDE STANDARD SA-2 Guideline Pack 0.30 Beta
      ============================================
       
      This is a public test version. Please try out equipment playing from both sides. This pack has been tested against stock planes on stock terrain. Mostly on VietnamSE due SAM site density and fast loading time :)
      About 1000+ launch tests have been done on planes with various types with or without jamming equipment at low and high altitude. Ballistics have been also checked with HoneyFox's Missile Range Simulator.
       
      Introduction:
      -------------
      To follow the philosophy behind Red Side Standard Weapons Pack (RSSW) I made an attempt to standardize the SAM systems as well. The first of such, the SA-2 Guideline or System-75 family.
      Using multiple reference materials (both english an russian) we tried to fine tune the effectiveness of all the weaponry for satisfactory player game experience while keeping as much realism as possible. This provides more challenge playing on the blue side.
      Effectiveness for guided missiles and radars have been tuned to provide realistic hit rate within the proper launch requirements. Because of game limitations, this means some technical parameters and values may be different from real world data.
      We kept as much stock reference as we could to provide compatibility with original game standard (Naming, Types, etc).
      Yet, there are no new ground objects included, but many new equipment is WIP for the final version.
       
      Contents:

      - The latest 3D models of the SA-2 family missiles from Spillone104 with thoroughly revised characteristics (FM, Guidance, Ballistics etc)
      - Weapon (and folder) names use common standard for convenience, clarity and simplified looks
      - Most objects use the stock TW 3D models
       
      Important changes:
      ------------------
      - All missiles have been changed from Beam Rider to SAHM guidance, as a work around the faulty "tail chasing" game logic also present with Rear60 IR seeking missiles. Also, "Beam Rider" guidance does not allow lead targeting of the missile.
      - All Fan Song radars have been set to their instrumented range, now it is fully up to the RCS, altitude and noise jamming values to determine the range of detection.
      - Target tracking range has been made equal to the search range - what the Fan Song can see can track immediately - launch is still limited by the missile parameters.

      So the FM is finally corrected, the empty weights are now correct, as well as many minor other changes in order to make ir more realistic.
       
      Don't be fooled, I did A LOT of research and a lot of BETA testing. When I had no definite data, I calculated, so some data are estimations.
       
      For proving my point, I include a 4vs4 mission, Turkish F-16D Block 50+ (the heaviest Viper in service) against USAF aggressors.
       
      Why v0.9? There are some planes missing. These are TW planes, as well as israeli -A models, egyptian, jordanian, UAE, thai, indonesian & singaporian planes.

    6. F-8 DATA & LOADOUT update

      This is a total rework of loadout and data.ini of ALL F-8s.
       
      These include all TMF, TW and YAP models. You will find them inside three separate folders.
       
      I tried to be as realistic as possible regarding performance figures, empty weights etc. Please give me feedback about the results, what do you think about.

      Removed "Exported=TRUE", nationalizing to ONLY West Germany
      Added SF2 "short name" display
      Changed Start Year so camo skins only are used.
       
      These changes will bring this superb mod up to the latest standards, FM wise. Nothing else has been changed -- nothing else really needed to be!! See "Notes" for things I did =NOT= do.

      this is the 3d max and a Lod ..... file that i make......for the Multi-Role Electronically Scanned Array (MESA) Surveillance Radar
      So if someone want to use it as a fake Pilot......is a Lod inside file.....with uv map...!!! Also a 3d's max file to save time. The cordinates...are not 100...%...
      Need recalculate.....with the plane...737....for 100% size....!!!

      Model adapted from freeware model...not found creator name yet...
       
      adapted and a lot of restoring the model to max format....and some minor new meshes and some mapping...
       
      all inis are basically TW but adapted by me.
       
      copied stock data etc but renamed to avoid conflict.......works ok in game...after having a few mesh probs...(high poly count) fixed.
      I think its far better than stock...
      feel free to alter ini`s as desired...

      TopGun Pilots flies again in StrikeFighters 2!!!! Yep...nuff said.
       
      This mod will not update any existing SF2 files, but I recommend that you back up your mod folder (...\Objects\Pilots).
       
      There are 2 steps to this install...(Three counting backing up!)
       
      1) Copy the contents of the "To_Mod_Folder" to your target mod folder. My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97 64-bit was, but yours my be different...
       
      C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 NorthAtlantic\
       
      * It will ask to overwrite, go ahead and overwrite. This mod should not change anything you already have installed - unless you, by some chance named something with the same names as I did. Hence the back up recommendation.
       
      NOTE: You should be able to install these pilots in SF2 game for most, if not all, jets. It doesn't have to be an F-14 or StrikeFighters2 NorthAtlantic. Have Mav and Goose fly and F-111?!! Enjoy!
       
      2) Locate and update the "data.ini" file of the jet you want these pilots installed in. In my example, I will update the "F-14A_82_DATA.INI" file located in...(again, your location may be different)...
       
      C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 NorthAtlantic\Objects\Aircraft\F-14A_82
       
      * In my example, I am updating the "F-14A_82_DATA.INI" file. In the target jet's folder, locate the "*DATA.INI" file. Edit the file in a text editor (Notepad) and "Find" the "Crew" section in the "*DATA.INI" file. In this section, there should be a [Pilot] and [CoPilot] (if the plane has a copilot. F-14's do) sub-section.
       
      * Look for the "PilotModelName=..." entry and update it with Maverick and Goose's info (it's the name of the folders and ini files you copied into ...\Objects\Pilots in Step 1).
       
      NOTE: All pilots and copilots in your flight for this plane will get this change...So if you have a wingman, Mav and Goose will show up there too...Sorry, this can't be helped...

    13. Red Pilots Pack by The Trooper

      This is a full SF2 conversion of the Soviet/Russian/Warsaw Pact Pilots set by The Trooper
       
      All pilots are now in their own individual folders, ready for use in SF2 (any and all versions). This is mainly for those Old Hand ™ that have not converted over, and for the New Folks ™ that may want something better to look at than the stock pilot figure
       
      Also included, is a new "RedAir001" by Eole (which is light years better than the craptastic one I did several eons ago).
       
      Trooper's full instructions are in the zip; in SF2 adding new pilot figures remains the same as in 1stGens. So, be ready for use of the 3W Cat Extractor to pull any and all data inis for editing.
       
      As there are no individual images of the pilots, to make the best choice for use, open the folders and simply view the skin bitmap.

      A small modification/Tweeks pack for Skippybings' Westland Wyvern S.4 Royal Navy turboprop attack aircraft.
      This is =NOT= the full aircraft, nor does it contain the beautiful skin/decals pack by paulopanz (which is a HIGHLY reccomended add-on!). This is just a set of inis, and new Hangar & Loading screens.
       
      The inis contain minor tweeks and a new anti-ship loadout (torpedo); other loadouts have been adjusted for more striking power and/or extended range and loiter time. Most other stuff remains "as issued". See "Notes" for full change list.
       
      Obviously, you MUST have the Wyvern aircraft in you mods folder before installing this tweeks pack. <g>
       
      As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them =BEFORE= installing (but after unzipping, of course). Also, give the "Notes" section a read too, as it contains the Change Log.

      Replacement data ini for the Cocas Aircraft Factory P-47D Razorback. The aircraft is available here:

      The full package is also getting the update. So, for that that have downloaded it already, use THIS data in.

      All follow on Razorback mods (PTO, MTO, and maybe CBI) will incorporate this data ini.
       
      This FM has been slightly refined, and these fixes should (almost) stop the "tail stall" and end-to-end flip. Again, while not perfect, this is a bit better. Further refinements by Experts are most heartly requested!! (Roll rates may still be a little low, as well)

      Ural-375 Truck / Soviet Main Truck replacing the Zil and Produced between 1964-1979
      Ural-4320 Truck Then became the Main Truck being produced from 1976 onward. And was
      Very similar. Main noticeable difference being the front Grill.
       
      Varieties
      The Ural-375D came in a variety of forms:

      Two versions of Russo's ADF loop antenna as used by US aircraft in the China/Burma/India theatre in WW2.
       
      One is standard Olive Drab (for standard OD painted aircraft)
       
      The other is Natural Metal (for non-painted, NM aircraft)
       
      These are added via the "fake pilot" method, as seen on the recently released P-40K-5 mod and the P-47D Razorback for China. The "fake pilot" is included as well.
      The psd template, for those that want any other colors, is provided in the OD Loop's folder.
       
      As always, relatively (speaking) easy to follow, but highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
