+allenjb42 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Tornado F.3s launch for their turn in the Mach Loop... The object of the exercise is to prove that they are just at home at low level as at high altitude... It; It's a real treat for the plane spotters picnicking on the hills.... For the student out of RAF Valley who happened to be flying the wrong way down a valley, not so much... Oh sh... He climbs to altitude and heads back to base for a stiff drink and a change of underwear! And the Tornadoes are back on the deck and heading for their next waypoint... 7 3 Quote

+VonS Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 (edited) Further testing of FE2 cloud tweaks in my mini-SF2 install, with a slightly modified data ini for the SeaFury to get it into the 730s kph (model recently posted by Paulopanz if I remember correctly, and a beautiful model too). Works great for early Cold War scenarios, as do the F4U-5 Argentine Corsairs. Thank you modders! Von S Edited March 17, 2019 by VonS Fixed typos. 5 Quote

tiopilotos Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 (edited) Impala en route to target While flying very low to avoid radar detection, a FAPLA mechanized infantry saw them passing very close and transmitted the information to all friendly units operating in the area Impala formation realized that enemy unit detected them and changed route Rocket attack But SA-7 gunners were already informed about possible air raid and they were ready... when Impala made its attack a SA-7 gunner fired a missile... Missile tracking and getting closer to Impala... Impala was hit and crashed shortly after! Edited March 20, 2019 by tiopilotos 17 Quote
