Ein Schritt nach dem anderen. Step by step. As usual in the last years i think a terrain would be an easy and fast job. Could be finished for X-mas And then it becomes bigger and bigger. And then comes in my mind: "X-mas okay! But which year?"

5-10-15 minutes.. It does not matter. It is still minutes not half-second of ctrl+some key. Grippen video is cool like all peacetime propaganda stuff...Did ever any Grippen been involved in combat? If not then it should be out of the discussion about combat readiness in time of war... as for game.... Flying over target let say 1.5h then combat sortie a few minutes and then head home another 1.5h...rearm and launch again...go (1.5h) over the same target area and of course targets for those 3 + hours were waiting in patience like a virgin on Friday night... Guess pilot in a real situation will be overused quickly... I can understand the need of refuel and rearm for some FOB's Harriers, choppers and similar stuff flying short quick CAS mission on the frontline...on a dynamic campaign (which is unavailable in this game).

So I did mess with the Cockpit.INI file for the Skyraider, and indeed, settings the values to 360s and 180s gives total 1:1 freedom of looking around with vorpX. Still hunting for the Field of View adjustment though..looks like it is VIEWLIST.ini... 'H' model - Were is this Beauty hiding? Looks pretty damn good. I think she had four 20m cannons instead of six fifties though? Nice work 'Pappy'!

Here are some pics from a conflict that as far as I remember I haven't seen any related mods about it: On October 1981 during Western Sahara War, Polisario fought against Moroccan forces to take control of the small town of Guelta Zemmur. Moroccan Air Force Mirage F1CH supported ground forces. Polisario had acquired heavy armament including 2K12 Kub (SA-6) air defense system. Polisario forces placed a single SA-6 battery in the area to protect rebels from Mooccan aircrafts. On the afternoon the SA-6 radar, 1S91 Surn acquired a Mirage F1CH that was approaching the area and started tracking it. Launch! Pilot tried to evade the missile deploying chaff... but it was not enough

Hello everybody, This week we continue telling you about the new Collector Planes, now is the turn of Yak-9 and Yak-9T. Yak-9 was the most mass-produced Soviet WWII fighter, more than 14,000 were made on three factories in Moscow, Omsk and Novosibirsk in total. The production started during Autumn 1942 and peaked in 1944, but continued well after the war ended - it stopped only in 1948. They were used in combat en masse for the first time during Kursk battle in Summer 1943, but several documents reflect smaller scale combat deployments of the new fighters on other fronts of 1943, including the Battle of Kuban. Yak-9, while being an evolution of Yak-7 design, had significant changes: metallic spars instead of the wooden ones, bubble canopy with an improved field of view, forward-and backward-facing armored glass pieces. The fighter armament was standard - 12.7 mm UBS MG and 20 mm ShVAK gun. It was powered by M-105PF inline engine. We also recreate a special model of this fighter, Yak-9T, that was developed to counter enemy bombers and was also used against lightly armored targets. A powerful 37 mm NS-37 gun with 30 rounds ammo reserve required more space, so the pilot's cockpit has been moved back to make more room for it and to maintain the pitch balance. It's interesting to note that while this gun was much more powerful, the total weight increase was just 40 kg and the plane aerodynamics did not change for the worse noticeably. We'll start the work on Yak-9T immediately after finishing Yak-9 (the exterior 3D model of Yak-9 is nearly complete while its cockpit 3D model and physical model are in the works and show good progress). You can discuss the news in this thread
