In 1974 F-8J Crusaders of VF-24 deployed to Nellis AFB for DACM exercises against F-4Es and F-105s. The aim of the exercise was to study the weapons and tactics used over Vietnam to see what worked and what didn't, as well as to help to codify the features wanted for the next generation of combat jets.. The Checkertails' Crusaders fared pretty well..

i could swear that their is information about Quang To (and no im not mistang it for Quang Tri .....Ninh Binh also sounds familiar) in one episode of Ken Burns, Vietnam War documentary, but i cant quite remember what it was, if you give me some time i can watch it again and find out But i do remember hearing of an airbase that was captured by the Americans being destroyed by Viet Cong mortar fire, so it isn't inconceivable that a lot of bases on the map may not be their any more

yeah run weapon editor open the specific game weap data save and try see if weaps show

using default ini I had NO weapons.....new install mind...then opened the weap data ini saved it and hot2 showed up...mind you check dates as it wont show before 1985

Believe me the game need more work, I mean it's good game but need more so no hurry you're not missing a lot.

We can't all fly the sexy fast movers..............
