for all of you who aren't happy the way the PPI is displayed in the game this is what i found and changed on my F-4E radar this is how it looks unchanged , the PPI has a green background with a serrated edge on top and left and right , this edge problem annoys me a lot and i was never happy with that green background either so i start looking in to the Avionics.INI but at first i did not know what to look for until i had a conversation with ludo.m54 and pvince , so i checked the Avionics.INI again and found this entrys , GroundClutter , MapBackgroundLevel and MapHighlightLevel and started to change the entrys that is the original entry GroundClutter=0.6 MapBackgroundLevel=0.2 MapHighlightLevel=0.6 that is the modified one GroundClutter=0.8 MapBackgroundLevel=0.001 MapHighlightLevel=0.8 and that is the result , the PPI looks almost like the real one in a F-4E ,and the serrated edge is no longer a problem , i´m more than happy right now finally i got that problem solved

Hi, will the canopy be animated to open/close? If it will, may I suggest that you used the same animation slot to animate the upward turning air-pressure-sensor mast? When the F-13 was parked on the airfield, the technicians would turn the mast up as a safety measure. It would be cool to have the canopy and the mast operating under the same animation.

you have to set it up like this ItemNumber is the animation slot from the aircraft , AnimationID is the animation slot for the cockpit [Canopy] Type=EXTERNAL_ANIMATION_LINK NodeName=inside_canopy MovementType=ANIMATION AnimationID=1 ItemNumber=8 this is how it looks on my F-4E´s and it works fine , important is that you get the right node name [Canopy] Type=EXTERNAL_ANIMATION_LINK NodeName=CanopyFrame01 MovementType=ANIMATION AnimationID=1 ItemNumber=3 if you have problems with it send me the cockpit.ini and i will have a look at it

SF2 Super Mystere B.2 (EG) Pack 6/7/2024 -For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested ) -Another 1stGen Salvage Operation- This is a rebuild of EricGen's 1stGen Dassault Super Mystere B.2, as used by the French and Israeli Air forces from the 1950s through the 1970s. This mod is set up and labeled to cause NO conflicts with the Mystere IVA available from within the game (Third Wire) or any mods of the stock bird that may exist. Skins remain in their original bmp format. Most markings are decals, with the exception of the fuselage color bands on some of the NMF skins. Decal Randomization is TRUE. All necessary items are provided, decals, weapons, pilots, sounds, and so forth. Some you've probably got already. If I missed any, PLEASE let me know and I'll get it fixed. The canopy operates with the Standard Animations Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero). The cockpit provided is one of Stary's superb works, and can also be used on the stock 3W version (as for some reason, "out of the box" it's not player flyable). The aircraft is supplied with a number skins for the varying Air Forces: France: EC 1/5 Vendee (1961-1966) EC 1/10 Valois (1958-1974) EC 2/5 Ile de France (1961-66) EC 2/10 Seine (1958-1968) EC 2/12 Cornouailles (<1959) Israel: No.105 Sqdn "The Scorpion" (NMF 1958) No.105 Sqdn (Blue/Brown Camo <62) No.105 Sqdn (3-tone <69) As indicated above, you can see the the SF2 "date switch" is active. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop down you'll see: Super Mystere B2 (EG) So you can't mistake it for anything other than what it is. This will also differentialize THIS one from the 3W Super Mystere that's stock in game. This includes NOT conflicting with the superb skin/ini pack that PauloPanz did some years back (reccomended!!!!). As always fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included; several are actually in their respective skin folders. The 'Change Log' is, of course, in the Notes section below. I do a lot of Arma 3 modding, mainly helos and the like, so I know where you're coming from. I've gotten a lot of requests that the game just doesn't support, so I know when a game says NO to me.

not to mention the "old" model is freely available and still able to be tweaked by an original modeler on the project (in case you havent been following all of this thread) with out need of fake pilots

Hello Many thanks ! If you want to apply it just a fix in order to show the canopy glass inside the cockpit. Visible in the LODview tool but not in the game ! So adding these lines from the cockpit.ini file : Instrument[061]=DistanceIndicator Instrument[062]=Slipball_Gunsight Instrument[063]=CanopyGlass [CanopyGlass] Type=HUD NodeName=glass_main [HUD] Type=HUD NodeName=HUD_Glass P.

Funny facts to the east german CLA-87 pods. There were 3 different versions of this pod. One of this pods was to equippe with a videocamera. Small problem: in East Germany was no videocamera available. The own industrie was unable to build one and soviet video technic was crap. So the GDR found a nice solution. They bought some thousand Akai video recorders in Japan, which were sold in TV shops in the GDR. But this was only a coverstory. The real interesse was on a fistfull videocameras from Panasonic. This cameras wer not sold, but installed in the CLA-87 recon pods.

Mirage F1EE_ALR This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. In June 1975, with tension growing with Morocco, Spain decided to strengthen its Air Force and bought 15 Mirage F1C that were allocated to Albacete AB. In mid-1976 there was still some tension with Morocco and Algerian and Libyan MiG-25 flights on the Mediterranean, which would lead the Spanish Air Force to purchase ten more Mirage F1C and two years later order 48 Mirage F1C and F1E. F1EE_ALR specifics: Same as EE_Late except: - RWR AN/ALR-300 installed instead of RWR BF - 6 aircraft were modified Covered units : Ala 14. This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware. Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms. Enjoy The Mirage F-1 Team.
