3 pointsThanks for the great information! Unfortunately, I can’t add lamps to the cockpits, so I’m focusing on HUD editing instead. Your input gave me an idea, though—MiG-17s and MiG-19s could feature earlier, more primitive firing cues, while the MiG-21s could have Cyrillic displays. Thiss reflect the technological evolution of gunsight systems. This stays in the period-plausible, blending seamlessly with the era’s analog avionics for an immersive experience. UPDATE: It turns out that the Stary's MIG-17P / PU cockpit does have lamp when missile have lock on target: That is great to have! I still will include the features for reflector (firing cue) for anyoen who still want it though. At least, I realize tthe lamp is there. Cheers!

2 pointsThat is noted, thank you for excellent feedback, it helps! I am reserving the Cyrillic for MiG-21s and later MiGs. For MiG-17s and 19s, I am using symbol, more primitive version. Here is what I came up with for MIG-17s: NOTE: When creating ASP-3N / 4N gunsight, I noticed how diamond sight aligns with the specific dots / symbols around the fixed sight. That is where the 'firing cue" symbols is aligned with too. Screenshots: Eagle114th

1 pointПР (Пуск Разрешен) came with the MiG-29, Su-27 fighter families. The earlier radars had IIRC a lamp that gave the signal "lock on" and "ready to fire". Edit: The following photo is taken from an east german book. Point 3 in the diagram is the "green lamp", i mentioned. The same book said, that in the Radar screen of the MiG-21 the signal Пуск was readable, when the target was in weapon range.

1 pointMiG-21F-13M2 The MiG-21F-13M2 was an upgrade program made by East Germany and Czechoslovakia. The maiden flight was in 1978. It was developed to counter the F-16 and to bridge the time till MiG-29 arriving. The Czech were responsible to integrate leading edge flaps and two additional hardpoints on the wings. They also installed the R-25-300 engine, which had the same dry thrust as the older R-13-300, but the afterburner gave 69 kN and it had a special dogfight regime which gave enormous 97.1 kN thrust for 5 minutes. With this thrust the MiG-21F-13M2 accelerates faster as any other fighter plane in Europe. With the new designed wing and the strong engine the maneuverability of the plane was dramatically increased. The East Germans integrated a small but powerfull radar in the nose cone, which had a maximum detection range of 45 km and were able to detect a fighter size target at 22 km. They gave this bird the ability to carry a SPS-141 jamming pod. And they integrated the R-60 missile into the weapon system. In the late 1980th the missile R-73 became part of the weapon system. At the same time the plane was fitted with a helmet mounted sight for the pilot. Positive was: The plane was agile, nimble and highly maneuverable. It accelerated very fast and had a very good climb speed. Negative was: The plane had a short range and a short flight time. It was not able to use radar guided missiles.

Following a doctor's visit today, a full-body PET scan has been ordered to detect any further cancerous growths (Hopefully none will be found) Additionally, a head and neck MRI is scheduled to rule out brain cancer (I hope it will come negative). P-3C "Orion" Remod Pak 12/19/22 -- For SF2, Any & All -- This is a fairly heavy overhaul, plus numerous additions, to Florian's Lockheed P-3C "Orion" maritime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft. Please be advised, as the physical model has not been "finished" since it's 2012 release, it may still be considered an "advanced Beta". This package, due to numerous changes (listed in the Change Log), is designed to REPLACE IN TOTAL the early 2011 kit. If you have that original repackaging mod, you CAN just drop all of this one directly over it, or delete the aircraft and decals folders and start fresh. Your Choice (tm). Either way SHOULD work with no issues. But always think 'safety first'. The older, original skins have been completely revamped: USNGrey1 USNGrey2 *see notes about these 2* Royal Norwegian Air Force (No.333 Squadron) original Dark Sea Grey, and NEW Lo-Viz The new skins are: JMSDF -in both GullGrey/White and LoViz grey overall (see notes) RAAF -both #10 & #11 squadrons USN- VP-40 "Fighting Marlins" (GG/W) All skins are in jpg format. All new decals are included, "almost" all with historically matching BuNums-to-Modex numbers (wherever possible, and the information was discoverable). Decal randomization for ALL skins is TRUE. For those forces with paint scheme changes at specific years, the SF2 Date Switch (tm) is active. As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. 0 pointsLast update before starting my treatment as I am going to have so many tests in the come two weeks before 12 June. My cancer turned out to be T3 N2 M0. (T3) which means stage 3 in the tonsils. (N2) it has spread to the lymph nodes more than five on both sides of the neck. (M0) indicates it has not spread to distant sites. I am in London and am scheduled to start both chemotherapy and radiation for six weeks, starting June 12. I am looking on the bright side and hopefully, inshallah, things will turn out well after treatment. Sincerely, Mohamad.

Today, I completed an MRI to determine the cancer stage; hopefully, it is not stage 3 or 4, inshallah (God willing). I may go to the UK for treatment soon, if all goes well. 0 pointsThank you all for your kind words and prayers; it means a lot to me. Sadly, the results came back positive; I have cancer in the lymph nodes II / III on both sides of my neck. So, keep me in your thoughts and prayers 🙏. I may not be around for a while until I get all the tests (PET/CT scans) and, most likely, surgery to remove them. Then we will see what is next.
