A new campaign with the 94th Aero in France!
I don't really have the system as yet for the latest version of Wings over Flanders Fields but I was inspired to start this campaign after seeing some of BladeMeister's screenies of the Nieuport 28 in a certain other new sim, over on SmHQ. I've always liked the N.28 ever since making the newly-issued Revell 1/72 kit back in the 1960s. I'm no big fan of SPADs so I decided to start with the 94th Aero 'Hat in the Ring' Squadron in late March 1

Western Approaches, 6th June 1940
After failing to locate the first convoy reported, we have at last located another. We're waiting, submerged at 80 metres, ahead of its track, for the leading escort(s) to pass over...
... before coming up to periscope depth and attacking the merchantmen, who range from whale factory ships...
...to more conventional freighters, large...
...and small.
In the event, the convoy approaches quite quickly and by t

Dear Fighter Pilots, Partners and Friends,
It is with great pleasure that we announce 2.7 has moved to DCS World Stable. We would like to thank you for your continued support and detailed bug reports.
Today, we are also introducing a new Free to Play program that lets you evaluate all of our modules (aircraft and maps) for 14 days. You can play each module sequentially for 14 days or any number of them at a time. Once you have ‘consumed’ the 14 days, you will be give

Hello Everyone!
This week we are showing a Dev. Diary a little early because we have some vacation and Covid-related holiday time that interferes with our normal routine. So, before we take a little time off, here are some quick shots of the German Sd.Kfz. 10/5 Flak 38 in the actual game engine. As you can see the textures are not anywhere near ready, but it is starting to become functional including some of the damage model and the gunsights. Once again, our partners at DigitalForms have d

Hi everyone, a new update for WOFF to V1.13 is now available.
Version 1.13 3 June 2021
1) Fixed a possible error at mission runtime that would sometimes occur for Aces with File Specified AC and Skin.
Ensured that the associated Ace skin would be allocated if possible, or if no more aircraft instances available then the generic AC and skin is allocated.
2) Improved Aircraft instance selections for skin allocations to maximise the number of skins per craft type flying in ga

Update 4.602
Dear friends,
Today we’re releasing another update, 4.602, that brings to you two new aircraft at once. British Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib is the first and it is available in Battle of Normandy Early Access now - this powerful, fast and heavily armed machine could handle a variety of combat missions. New tactical numbers and dynamic impact marks technologies already work for it and it has a wide array of modifications - another engine, propeller, gunsight, additional armor an

Dear Great War Pilots!
We are hard at work trying to finalize update 4.602 and the Fokker D.VIII is in final testing and implementation. So, this DD is dedicated to that deadly monoplane the Germans sent to the Western Front late in the war. The 'Flying Switchblade' makes it's debut in Flying Circus next week if testing goes well. Enjoy these beautiful images of it in action!
Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend to our American community members!
