Here is the long awaited Jauguar A for the french Air Force

It should be compatible with SFP1 and SF2 (all versions)

The base work is from BPAO, in 2005.
Skins are 1024x1024, but a 2048 version is planned for version 2.
It comes in 3 versions :
      - early 1972-85 (presently the JagA Lot1) : no laser bombing capacities
      - intermediate 1978-95 (presently the JagA2 Lot4) : can carry laser guided munitions, but no designator
      - late 1996-2006 (presently the JagA3 Lot5) : can deliver and designate laser guided ammunitions.

Each version is subdivided into two sub-version for simplicity and compatibility with SF1 :
With European camo fuel tanks and with Desert camo fuel tanks
The weapon pack requires further refinements, but this will be done as an update

      Install :

    4. [Fictional] Grumman F-111B 'ADC'

Grumman F-111B 'ADC' for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2

This is a very simple mod of the superb F-111B by FastCargo to represent a fictional USAF version inflicted on that fine service, although it's actually not that bad when used within it's limits! I'm releasing this 'as is' as it could do with further refinements but avionics are not really my thing.

      BACKSTORY

On November 24th, 1962 the US Defense Departement issued a press release announcing the award of the TFX programme to General Dynamics ahead of Boeing. There was an immediate outcry at this decision as only a few weeks earlier the Air Force Council had stated their declared preference for the Boeing submission as had the Chief of the Navy although the US Navy had, in fact, rejected both explaining that neither were fully compatible with carrier operations and neither had adequate CAP loiter endurance. It was not until March 21st, 1963 when Robert McNamara (Secretary of Defense) was called as a witness to the 'McClennan hearings' where McNamara explained the evaluation groups preference for the General Dynamics submission based on the higher degree of commonality when compared to Boeing's submission adding that, in their view, Boeing were proposing two different airplanes. After the dust had settled General Dynamics and the US Air Force battled on with their version of the TFX which would eventually lead to the F-111A entering squadron service (and operational service in Vietnam) in 1968.

However, for the US Navy things were different. Initially, by appointing Grumman to develop the naval version of the TFX (as the F-111B) the US Navy had hoped that this experienced and trusted contractor would turn the heavy tactical bomber into something that would meet their carrier-based interception requirement and at least they also had Hughes onboard for the radar/missile system with the promising AWG-9 radar and AIM-54A missile. But by early 1964 the Navy were determined that the F-111B would not proceed except without major changes and asked that the manufacture of the F-111B development aircraft should be halted until the aircraft was redesigned but this was overruled by the Pentagon. Even the first flight of the F-111B on May 18th, 1965 failed to provide any comfort as the TF30 engine compressor stalls were evident from the start. By October 1965 the Navy Preliminary Evaluation considered the aircraft to be grossly underpowered, range was less than half of the requirement and the engines were judged to be a significant flight safety problem. Furthermore, the fixes required to bring the F-111B into something at least marginally capable of flying the mission brought commonality down from 80% down to 29% and during early 1966 the Navy became increasingly vocal about wanting to bail out but it was not until after a new and particularly scathing Navy Preliminary Evaluation held in March 1967 that they did so.

McNamara was incensed and instructed General Dynamics and Grumman to revert back to the original '80% commonality' F-111B and develop it for use as an interceptor by the USAF's Aerospace Defense Command Interceptor Squadrons as a replacement for the F-101 Voodoos and F-102 Delta Daggers and to supplement the F-106 Delta Darts. Almost as a way of denying failure, McNamara instructed the Defense Department not to allocate a new designation but to keep the F-111B designation for the Air Force interceptor. With an immediate order for 288 F-111B's a reluctant Air Force at least had some use for the short-nosed F-111 and put the aircraft to good use but the real winner was McDonnell Douglas who gained new orders from the Navy for the F-4J Phantom and also the swing-wing F-4S 'Super Phantom' ordered instead of the VFX (Tomcat).

      INSTRUCTIONS

      1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the F-111B_ADC folder into your Aircraft folder.

      2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the F-111B_ADC folder into your Decals folder.

    5. Jaguar A Template

These are 1024 templates I made for the new French Jaguar A. I recycled a few bits from the GR1 one, which I thought were a bit better, for instance gear, nozzle...
I included my skin layer of blue green camo, but it's a template so it's made to work with.
I also added rivets which were missing in the original skin.

      Download the aircraft here: http://combatace.com/files/file/14511-jaguar-a/
And find all credits there as well :-)

I'm sure someone will come up with 2048 templates one day, but for now i'm using these.

      Cheers

    7. SF2 WW2 FAA Seafire Mk.IIb Pak by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co

SF2 WW2 FAA Seafire Mk.IIb Pak by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co (ver 0.9)
      1/10/2014

-- Something for the WW2 Players For Various Theatres --

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: having whichever expansion pak gave us the Spit Mk. IX is required, as
this mod references the stock 3W destroyed Spitfire*

This is tagged as Ver 0.9, as some minor fixes may be required. We wanted to
get it out into the hands of End Users ™, both for your flying pleasure, and
      further examinations.

The package contains the Seafire Mk.IIb as issued to Fleet Air Arm squadrons in
1942. Essentially (in Real Life), an extenisvely modified Mk.V, with new naval
hardware, most importantly the A-frame arrestor hook. This version does NOT
have folding wings. The data ini contains the SF2:NA required statements for
carrier parking; unfortunately, the RN Fleet carriers we have use a smaller
wingspan statement. Aside from that, it is fully carrier capable, in the NA
environment; and was tested in such.

Skin(s) included with the package are:

      Royal Navy:

No. 885 NAS, HMS FORMIDABLE (circa 2/42 in the Atlantic; aka "Home Fleet")
No. 807 NAS, HMS BATTLER (circa 1942, MTO, a CVE)
No. 834 NAS, HMS BATTLER (BEIF, circa 1944, yes the same CVE)

(In essence, a slight mish-mash of theatres! It is suggested that End Users
™ select the skin wanted/needed for a specific theatre, and delete the rest,
editing them out of the aircraft's main ini (ie: SeafireIIB_CAF.ini)

This pack makes use of the Brain32 trick of having the skin maps in the MAIN
aircraft folder, NOT in the individual squadron folders. As all FAA Seafires (for the most part)
were painted the same camo, this reduces the size of the package (slightly). Only the
markings (squadron codes, national insignia) change.
However..both 807 and 834 (folder called 'BEIF") have seperate 1 maps, as their
      prop spinners are different colors.

All marking are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Other squadrons can
easily be done by creating new squadron code letters.
See "Notes" for more infomation on the individual markings.
An SF2 version of my "box art" style hangar screens is included. It's more a 'generic' Seafire screen, as
it depicts both I, IIb and IIIC models.
All aircraft use a "pool" of serial numbers. The serial numbers, while
'generic' in nature (representing no particular aircraft), ARE correct for the
variant depicted. The other markings are specific to each ship.

The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0. Guns
are also grouped, MGs in Group 1, the cannon in Group 2.

      When in game, you'll see:

      Seafire Mk.IIb (CAF)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate =THIS= Seafire
from any others you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are
      included. So, please read them.

      Good Hunting!

    12. Udaloy I & II Class Data File Mod/Update

This package contains modified data files for the Udaloy and UdaloyII Class Destroyers. It is meant for SF2:NA based installs only.

You can find it in the Udaloy class upgrade package 1.0

Alternatively if you have the SF2:NA Expansion Pack by eburger68 then it can be used with the Slava included in the pack.

      /--------------------------------------------------------------------------

This package makes numerous adjustments to the Udaloy & UdaloyII Data files.

The most important is making the SA-N-9 missile launchers function via a Gunner instead of using the [WeaponSystem] entery. As such they operate similar to the launchers on WhiteBoySamurai's ships.

On the Udaloy II, two launchers have been set up for the SA-N-11's used by its Kasthan mounts so as not to interfere with the guns of the Kasthan.

All other gunners have been heavily overhauled in order to adjust the performance of the ship's gun systems against the AA and CIWS role.

The Alt1 file is uses stock or existing guns while the Alt2 file uses custom modified guns.

This package is for PTO (in particular, the Darwin and New Guinea regions of the South West Pacfic) Spitfire V Trops -ONLY!!!-. NOT to be used elsewhere! This is a Theatre Specific aircraft package! The data ini uses the correct dates for Mk V arrivals in Australia.
= REMINDER: this is a Nationalized, Theatre-specific aircraft mod!!! =

The Skin(s) included with the package are:

No. 54 Squadron (RAF -tagged as RAAF for gaming purposes) (DL)
      No. 79 Squadron, RAAF (UP)
      No. 452 Squadron, RAAF (QY)

as based in and round Darwin, NT, Australia, and that general region. For all intents an purposes, this constitutes No. 1 Fighter Wing.

On the Loadout Screen, the plane-in-group letters that have a star (*) next to them have been 100% positively matched to their historically correct serial numbers. Those without a star, while having served within the Squadrons represented, could NOT be matched to any specific aircraft. This is true for all 3 Squadrons represented in this package.

The Squadron Crests are used as the paint chip, as seen on the Loadout screen.
This pack makes use of the Brain32 trick of having the skin maps in the MAIN aircraft folder, NOT in the individual squadron folders. As almost all SWP (Oz, PNG) based Spitfires were painted the same camo, this reduces the size of the package. Only the squadron codes would need changing.
Like the other CAF Spitfires, the skin is in jpg format. All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE.

The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0. Guns are also grouped, MGs in Group 1, the cannon in Group 2. Guns, weapons, etc are NOT included, but the AvHistory Merlin engine sound is. You should have all the rest.

      When in game, you'll see:

      Spitfire Mk.Vb Trop RAAF (CAF)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate THIS Spitfire from any other MK Vs you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.

      These skins are for Pasko's F-80, T-33 and F-94.

They were painted using Wrench's template of Pasko's F-80/T-33/F-94. They were patterned after Gramp's T-33 Luftwaffe skin.

Thanks to Pasko for the plane, Wrench for the Templates and Gramps for the skin these were patterned after.

NOTE: There are some mesh distortions on these planes that show up as dark lines/scratches. I can't fix these with paint.

INSTALLATION: Unzip to a folder/place of your choice. Copy, Move, Drag-n-Drop or do whatever you wish to get the skin folders into your F-80/T-33/F-94 folders. Choose Desert Camo or Green Camo in the loadout section. Fly.

I'm releasing this under the Combat Ace Fair Use Agreement. Use it anyway you wish for personal use. For any other use, please contact me first.

-- Something for the CBI players --

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: having whichever expansion pak gave us the Spit Mk. IX is required, as this mod references the stock 3W destroyed Spitfire*

This is tagged as Ver 0.9, as we're sure some minor fixes may be required. We wanted to get it out into the hands of End Users ™, both for your flying pleasure, and further examinations.

This package is for CBI (in particular, Burma and India aka "SEAC") Spitfire V Trops -ONLY!!!-. NOT to be used elsewhere! This is a Theatre Specific aircraft package! The data ini uses the correct dates for Mk V arrivals in India.
REMINDER: this is for use =ONLY= in a WW2 CBI-centric mods folder.

The Skin(s) included with the package are:

No. 615 Squadron "County of Surrey" RAuxAF

as based in the Chittigong region of India (present day Bangledesh) upon arrival in-theatre.
The Squadron Crest are used as the paint chip, as seen on the Loadout screen.

    20. USAF F-86K 'What-If' SF2 Sand Camo Skin

      F-86K USAF Sand Camo 'What-If' SF2 Skin

This skin is for the F-86K Sabre by Bunyap, Fubar512. Original 3D model by Zur.
This skin textures are in .jpg format. It uses default SF2 full 5+2 merged install decals. Although most are common USAF decals, it uses F104TAILNUM for numbers. If you don't have these numbers in your install, you'll have to substitute numbers.
(It 'should' work in SF1 by converting the .jpg's to .bmp's and re-decaling using your SF1 game's decals.)
It was painted using the F-86D/K/L templates by suhsjake and bobrock.

    23. USAF 'What-If' Hunter Skins

Hunter USAF 'What-If' SEA and Grey SF2 Skins.
You need any SF2 ThirdWire Hunter. Although these were painted on the F.6 and F.9 they 'should' work reasonably well on any of the TW Hunters. They are both set for the F.6.
These texture files are in .jpg format.
INSTALLATION: Drop the skin folder of choice into your chosen Hunter folder. Choose it in the loadout section. Fly.
The Grey skin was painted using Sundowner's TW Hunter F6 Hi Res Templates.
The SEA skin was painted using ndicki's Hunter9 templates.
The intake warning triangle decals, I believe, are Wrench's. (At least that's as far as I could trace them. He thinks they are default. If anyone knows for sure, please let me know so I can correct this.)
Thanks to all of them for their contributions to this great game and making skinning the Hunter so easy.
All other decals are default/stock TW 5+2 merged install USAF decals and should be available in any SF2 game.
I'm releasing this under the Combat Ace Fair Use Agreement. Use it anyway you wish for personal use. For any other use, please contact me first.
If you find any problems with it, please PM me. If you improve it, please PM me a copy.
Thanks to all who are helping me 'learn to skin' by direct involvement and/or by inspiration.

    25. Iraq SuperEtendard Skin Pack (multiple skins)

This is a pack of skins for Super Etendard , I tried to recreate the almost unknown skin Supertendard who fought in the lran - Iraq war . It's almost impossible to get documentation from the 5 aircraft that France provided Iraq during the 80s . Knowing that the numerals were from 7445-7449 . Two of these aircraft were shot down in a fight . Had few raids getting some targets oil tankers crossing the gulf.
I created these skins based on the only color photo I found on the net, but also created 8 skins with possible colors that might have these aircraft. I created the numerals from the real and completing a total of 15 numerals of which 10 are fictitious , and is just not to get problems in the simulator. Just choose the color you like and put it in the "Irak" folder. There is also a skin color in each folder with a Red Intake skin if you want to use as well . Fuel tanks go up in the next update , because the color reflection gave me trouble to let them equal to each skin. Good vuelo.Ariell . -

Buen vuelo.Ariell.-
