    1. This tiny mod is my modification of stock post-June11 environmentsystem.ini, that I created in spare time for own enjoyment. Incorporated are several tweaks and graphics files I created to slightly change the looks and feel of the SF2 series environment.

New, light blue sky colour for midday
New, more purple, cinematic sky colours for sunrise/sunset
      Slightly modified fog colours
      Reduced sky glow for sunrise/sunset
New, slighly bigger sun with new sun graphics
      New sun flare
New clouds sizes and graphics for all weather types
Now clear weather has some small fluffy clouds too
New, bigger lens flares with new graphics
      Slightly bigger Moon
      New stars graphics
New, stronger base winds and gusts for more dramatic smoke columns etc.

    2. Well after a couple of months, i finally could release this pack, i tried to get as much information as possible, so if i have something wrong, just let me know and i will try to fix it:)

These skins are made for Lindr2´s MiG-23M´s and they were released for SF2 use by Eburger, you can find the main files here:

      Part 1: http://combatace.com/files/file/12151-sf2-mig-23-mig-27-floggers-part-1/
      Part 2: http://combatace.com/files/file/12150-sf2-mig-23-mig-27-floggers-part-2/
      Part 3: http://combatace.com/files/file/12149-sf2-mig-23-mig-27-floggers-part-3/

i´ve arranged everything for you just to drop it in the main folder for the game of your choice, it can be used in every and all versions of SF2.

I´ve made 2 Gray skins for the early M`s, one for VVS and the other PVO use, and 3 skins for the regular M`s one gray, one in desert colors for far east use and last a PVO one for use in europe.

Numbers were mere repaints of some i´ve found in my hard drive, i don´t know who made them, so if you recognize them, let me know and i will credit you:)

I also added Hangar and Loading screens for the planes and added the main ini, caution, if you don´t like the skins just don´t use the ini, because it will put my skins up front in the game.

Later variants for the Flogger family will be made, including MiG-27`s who are in the list, and the MiG-23ML´s to balance power in SF2:NA.

This skin set couldn´t be made without my brother Daniel "Cocas" Liebaert who patiently showed me the how´s for skinning, a big thanks to him.

Also to Lindr2 who made the base for the plane, hope we can see you soon sir!!!

And to all the advices given here like Wrench, who gave me a hint in stenciling.

Need to let you know this templates were made in 2048 x 2048 resolution, they might give you issues in weak rigs, but can be easily rescaled down.

I really hope you enjoy this pack, and hope i can continue making more.

      Regards.

    3. SF2E: Operation Isbjörn: Submarine Hunters Mission Pack
      By The Scandinavian Front Team

Stratos, this one is for you

      Summary:

I am still trying to get this to work in the campaigns, but with Anti-Ship not working for defensive and all, it has been difficult to implement - to say the least since Scandinavian Forces always are on the defensive.

So I am releasing it in this format. An Aircraft, and a few Single Missions.

It is an Addon, you _WILL_ need Operation Isbjörn 1.1 or greater (current version is 1.4, so don't worry about that). This is due to Terrain and other Aircraft involved and me being sheer Lazy.

      Link: http://combatace.com/files/file/12562-sf2e-tsf-operation-isbjorn/

So, what is this all about?

You will hunt Submarines, thats what. Best enjoyed with visual targeting and HUD on HARD. Good luck finding the sneaky little bastards. For you without Mission Editor, I have set up four different scenarios for you. Enjoy !

      Installation:
Unzip into your Strike Figthers 2 TSF Mod Folder.

    5. ***************** German Tornado ECR/IDS/Marine Pack for SF2 V1.0 ************************

This pack contains 4 German Tornado aircraft with all the sounds, effects and weapons etc necessary for use. Although initially based on Dave, AD and Sundowners Tornado GR1/GR4 pack (in which I was involved) this pack includes new models, converted SF1 skins and improved ini's over the original GR1/GR4 release. It has been tested in both a Full Merged Nov '11 and a single SF2:E Nov '11 game with no problems found (not tested in SF1).

      Installation
      -------------

Unzip then copy and paste these folders into your Mod folder (usually C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 or whatever yours is called).

      AIRCRAFT
      ------------

Aircraft Specific Info (in-game, not accurate to real life timeline) -
      ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Tornado ECR '90 (1990-2020) - The SEAD/Electronic Warfare version of the Tornado IDS, this comes with a much more powerful ECM pod than the IDS, no Cannons and a FLIR turret under the nose.

Tornado IDS '00 (2000-2020) - This is the Mid-Life Update for the IDS which gives it precision weapons like 2000lb Laser-JDAM, GBU-24, IRIS-T (post '06) and post '09 the Taurus Stand-Off Missile. It also has a secondary function in an Anti-Ship/SEAD role after the disbandment of the last Navy IDS squadron in 2005 allowing it to carry the new Kormoran 2 ASM. This comes in 2 paint schemes, an all-over grey for AG51 or a green camo design for JaboG 31 so I've allowed you to change the fuel tank colour at the loadout screen based on which skin you prefer.

Tornado IDS '79 (1979-1999) - The standard IDS for the Luftwaffe it carries a fairly limited payload due to the politics of the era but does come with the awesome MW-1 Dispenser in either Anti-Runway or Anti-Tank/Personnel varieties (AI Has trouble using it as it designed for 100ft deployment and AI can't go that low).

Tornado Marine/Navy IDS '82 (1982-2005) - The Naval version of the IDS, it's primary mission is Anti-Ship/SEAD and it was the only IDS capable of carrying larger 1000lb bombs and the Kormoran ASM until their disbandment started in 2000 lasting until the last Sqn went in 2005. It also carries it's defensive pods on the opposite wings to every other Tornado User.

      OTHER INFO
      -----------

      Loadout Screen -
      --------------

As per the Other Tornado Italian/GR1/GR4 packs most of the defensive pods & A-A missiles are combined in Weapons group 1 so please don't use the in-game loadout screen to change anything in Group 1.

      Issues -
      ------

Due to the Political issues in Germany in the 80's the Luftwaffe's armory's were pretty bare and contained very few different weapon types which is why the loads outs are all very similar so be perpared for lots of MK82 Snake-Eye and BL755 sorties until 2000 and the arrival of the IDS '00 with it's enlarged weapons types.

The Taurus missile is using the old Storm Shadow model as it's the only one square enough to simulate it.

The Flir Turrent on the ECR has no display.

With the IDS '79 Strike loadout the AI can't use the MW-1, they just pull up into a stall when trying to use it.

    7. Avro Vulcan B2 XH562 'Zapped' in RNZAF 75 Squadron Markings

In 1972 XH562 of the NEAF Bomber (Akrotiri) Wing at RAF Masirah was spectacularly 'zapped' with RNZAF markings by the Royal New Zealand Air force whilst the aircraft was visiting New Zealand.
