    4. SF2 Tu-16 Badger Pack by Pasko       11/1/2024
-For SF2, Full 5 Merged REQUIRED. Must Have SF2:NA!!!!!)
      -Another 1stGen Salvage Operation-
This is a revamp of Pasko's Tu-16 Badger(s) from SF1 to SF2 "standards". This package contains the 3 variants of the Badger he and his team created 'way back in 2005. As stated above, a full-5 merged install is required; or at =LEAST= having SF2:NA in the merged install. This is because the Cruise Missile versions use the stock 3W cruise missiles (Although I've supplied the early versions).
The 3 aircraft included herein are ...
Tu-16 Badger-A (free fall bombs only)
Tu-16K-10-26 Badger C (cruise missiles only; 1 centerline, 2 wing mounted)
Tu-16G Badger K (2 cruise missiles, wing mounted only)
A cockpit is supplied for each, with a working bombsight for the standard bomber. (See notes about the issues flying bombers in SF2). All weapons, execpting the KS-1 & KSR-2 missiles are stock 3W items (FAB, RBK, K10S). All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All new Hangar and Loading screens have also been included, for you enjoyment.
The aircraft are supplied with a number skins for the varying Air Force users. Some (re)use their original 1stGen decals, with a slight repaint to stop any 'fuzziness'. Many decals used (for Middle East and Soviet birds) are stock items. You'll get:
      Tu-16A:
      Soviet Silver
      Ukraine Silver (<1991)
      Egypt AF Silver (<1966)
      Iraq Silver (<1973)
      Indonesia Silver (<1961)
      PLAAF China Sliver (<1959)
      Iraq Green Stripe Camo (<1978)*
      Iraq Sand/Green Camo (<1980)*
      Tu-16C:
Soviet Naval Aviation Silver (blue borts)
      Tu-16G:
Soviet Naval Aviation Silver (blue borts)
As indicated above, you can see the the SF2 "date switch" is active. The star (*) tagged above indicates these years are "best guess". When possible the original readme for all skins are within each skin folder, and notes are sometimes made on the textureset.ini. The PLAAF bird only gets 24 bort number decals, which are (hopefully!) historically correct and nearly the right color blue <grin>! Pilot figures are also included. For exact in-game usage for the C & G models, I'd suggest giving their data inis a looksee, as they have several Secondary Roles to fulfill.
When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop down you'll see:
      Tu-16 Badger-A (Pasko)
      Tu-16K-10-26 Badger C (Pasko)
      Tu-16G Badger K (Pasko)
The (Pasko) differentializes these from the stock 3W Badgers (and any mods thereof). So you can't mistook them for anything other than what they is.
As always fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is of course, in the Notes section below.

    5. The Strikemaster is essentially an armed version of the Jet Provost T Mk 5. Various improvements and alterations were made to the aircraft, including an uprated Armstrong Siddeley Viper turbojet engine, wing hardpoints capable of carrying a wide variety of munitions, a pair of machine guns under the intakes, uprated flap system with two jacks, enlarged airbrake jacks, new communication and navigation gear, different electrical system, canopy breakers on the ejection seats, and a revised fuel system including tip tanks on the wing tips.
First flown in 1967, the aircraft was typically marketed as a light attack or counter-insurgency aircraft, however, the majority of customers were air forces seeking an advanced trainer. The Strikemaster did see combat on multiple occasions in the service of Ecuador, Oman and Yemen. A total of 146 aircraft were produced prior to the end of production in 1983. The type remaining flying into the 2020s, albeit with increasing difficulty due to a decreasing supply of spare parts over time.
      WHAT'S IN:
      - Strikemaster Mk80    Saudi Arabia     (47 planes)        3 skins
      - Strikemaster Mk81    South Yemen    (  4 planes)        1 skin
      - Strikemaster Mk82    Oman                 (25 planes)        2 skins
      - Strikemaster Mk83    Kuwait                (12 planes)        1 skin
      - Strikemaster Mk88    New Zealand     (16 planes)        2 skins
      CREDITS:
      - russouk2004: original model
      - pappychksix: all skins
      - paulopanz: decals, hangars, screens, drop tanks paint, skins little editings, ini dance, packaging etc etc.
      TO INSTALL:
      - put all in your main mod folder and overwrite

      NOTE:
TW simulations allow us to add proper historical serials, numbers, letters and nose arts to each plane.
Best models with serials, numbers and letters painted on textures for me are a real waste. All planes (as black cats at night ...) are the same ...

So our friend Pete allowed me to make decals (I have a real decals factory yet ...) for his great skins and this is the final product.
I think that outstanding Russo's plane really needed this work to shine.
I hope you like this pack, as I liked to buid this up.
If Pete will skin Mk84, Mk89 and Mk90 (with his own super templates) too I'll be glad to add them.
If someone'll tweak a better flight model I'll add too.
      Any improve'll be welcome.
      Aren't we a community?
      Enjoy!

    6. Phinal Photos: RF-4C in USAF Service After Desert Storm
                                                                             A TMF Rebuilt project
This mod represents the phinal years of the Photo Phantom n USAF service. It includes a new RF-4C_91 model that features Sidewinder missile capability. While only a couple dozen RF-4Cs were wired for AIM-9 carriage, they served in the Alabama and Nevada Air National Guards while they did. Therefore, I placed the skins for those units in the _91 model's folder
                  Required
a functional copy of any Strike Fighters 2 game except for SF2 North Atlantic (the only one without a native F-4 destroyed model)
The aircraft from the TMF Rebuilt RF-4C Late set, available here: https://combatace.com/files/file/18263-late-model-rf-4cs-photo-phantoms-after-vietnam/
(if you already downloaded this then you dont need to do it again)
                  Included
      3 RF-4C aircraft folders
      - RF-4C_85: skins only (12th RS, 173rd RS Nebraska ANG)
      - RF-4C_91: new aircraft with several Nevada and Alabama skins, and Sidewinder capability. Photo flash bays restricted to one or the other to make room for this capability, but photo flashes were not used as much in the phinal years.
      - RF-4C_ARN_101:  skin (12th RS) and data_ini adjustment (extends years to 1992 from original 1990)
      2 decal folders
NOTE: most weapons, pilots, effects and sounds are already included in the original Rebuilt set. only AIM-9s for the _91 are included here

                  Credits
-The Mirage Factory        the very original aircraft (see TMF Readme)
      -ravenclaw_007               original model, RF-4 pit
-Sundowner                     further modifications to model and pit, effects for new photoflash bombs
-daddyairplanes              skins, tgas, multiple ini edits, creation of 4 distinct aircraft from one model
      -guruu                               sounds
-NightshadeP/R             testing. Nightshade often shows me my errors in screenshots he's just sharing for fun, while Menrva helps me with the more technical aspects
      -Sundowner, ravenclaw_007,
yakarov79 and daddyairplanes    templates are a mix of layers as contributed by these four. compiled in current form by daddyairplanes
                  Special Thanks
        *  to Sundowner for supporting this project. He was kind enough to hand me this ball and let me run with it and even make additional features as I requested them
        *  to ET Brown, Gary Chambers and other members of the 106th Tac Recon Squadron page on Facebook. These Alabama Air Guardsmen veterans helped greatly and the "106th RS 94" skin features the crew chiefs on the nose just as the real aircraft had in the final 6 months.
                  About The Mirage Factory Rebuilt
Back in the early days of Wings Over series modding The Mirage Factory, lead by bpao was the peak of modding excellence. Many of their models are still heavily in use today, 15 years later and still amongst the very best. This despite the team not creating any new mods since the passing of Oliver Anguille in 2009.
But time does move on, and the next generation of modders have ideas, techniques and tools not available back then. With the help of some of the original modellers (who have copies of the original max files) we can update these fine aircraft for the 2020s. Rebuilt for new terrains and campaigns that were just hopeful wishes over a decade ago.
The Mirage in the logo is camoflaged, much like the real aircraft in later service. The "HD" has been replaced with "Rebuilt" as what was HD in the 2010s is jsut standard today. Finally, the new logo thanks Oli, both for the aircraft that are still relevant today and for the inspiration he's given to the modders that followed him.
On behalf of The Mirage Factory (original and rebuilt) I thank you for downloading this mod, and hope you enjoy it.

thank you for downloading this mod, i hope you enjoy phlying it as much as i did creating it
