NorwegianF-104G01.jpg

F-104G Starfighter of No.331 Squadron of the Royal Norwegian Air Force seen at low-level during a deployment to Dhimar as part of the UN coalition forces in 1969.

Interesting stuff;

I ported over the F-104G from WOV to SF2 this afternoon and was looking for a suitable skin and hgbn's superb RNAF fitted the bill nicely!

Quick question. When you create a mission from Vietnam map, will the reds automatically become Vietnamese?

In my experience it depends on what aircraft are loaded. Since the random mission creator pools from all the aircraft that are of hostile allegiance to yours it could be anything. I have faced Hungarian Mig-21s in VietnamSEA before.

Finals after a strike in Vietnam

I've too been contemplating a "modern" Vietnam scenario. Given the politics of that war may just be a personal thing.

The Linebacker III campaign in the campaign downloads section is just that. It's not set up to be totally realistic, since I just replaced all A/C in WOV LBI with their modern equivalents. There is a ground war, though.

Gringo is actually a term meant to refer to white people, mainly americans. Cubans wouldn't be called gringos.

Paddy may not know that,he is an island to himself :biggrin:
