4 pointsBesides the standard AA load (2 Amraams, 2 Sidewinders) I was carrying 2 SRAMS. They are the ultimate weapon to address the main topic, and close out all the side conversations in progress. Nothing says "I'm tired of talking to you" like 70KT of STFU. Back in 1 piece too.

1 pointOFFICIAL USAF DOCUMENT CLASSIFIED: TOP SECRET Ground Strike Mission Orders Ha'il - Jan 17, 1991 PRIMARY TARGET INTELLIGENCE SUMMARY: Saddam's Elite Republican Guards are known to be the primary threat to our ground forces when the ground war begins. Accordingly, CENTCOM has ordered the destruction of these units by our air forces to commence immediately. OBJECTIVE: Photograph the Rep. Guards at Baiji SECONDARY TARGET INTELLIGENCE SUMMARY: An experimental search and tracking radar system is being installed at an enemy SAM site. Sources indicate it may already be operational. Detailed, low-altitude photos are required as soon as possible. OBJECTIVE: Photograph the SAM radar at Al Kumayt I usually don't like what ifs, but a funny take on the ODS 30AE mod brought me to rediscover @Julhelm's fantastic F-19, which was released as part of the RSR mod by eburger68. I've been making lots of changes to it, including adding proper hit boxes and collision points, reworked skins and aircraft characteristics and loadouts meant to resemble the ones of Microprose's F-19 Stealth Fighter game. Julhelm's original F-19; missing hit boxes and featuring a bubble canopy Reworked F-19 featuring a caged canopy ala F-106 (by repainting the canopy glass), proper hit boxes, more collision points and reworked skins (euro camo skin by kblomkvist, no markings skin by yours truly) It still features two weapon bays (unlike Microprose's exaggerated four bays), but with properly reworked limits; you can have 4x Sidewinders or 3x AMRAAMs in one of the bays, 2x bombs and AGMs (sometimes just 1x), depending on overall weight and size. A 20mm cannon is on the nose with 680 rounds, and an extra 1,900 lbs fuel cell has been added for a total of 11,800 lbs of fuel; non-afterburning engines. An (invisible) arrester hook has been added since Microprose's version could also operate from aircraft carriers. I'll be asking Julhelm for his permission to eventually re-release it, with due credits to him of course. I wish the 3d model could be edited, so we could have a proper caged canopy instead of a painted bubble canopy, as well as a visible arrester hook. We have no proper fictive cockpit for it, ideally I'd like to have the canopy frame of an F-106 and MFDs of an Hornet.

1 pointTaxying is awkward because the aircraft veers to the left. That's because in the data file, the RightMainGear is missing the entry HasBrakes=TRUE Whereas the LeftMainGear has the entry You're welcome

1 pointThe latest iteration of the Tommo Inc Falcon 4.0 total conversion modification - Benchmark Sims 4.36 U2 - is available for you to enjoy RIGHT NOW! BMS 4.36 U2 requires a legit installation of a Falcon 4.0 (all older and newer versions are accepted alike, i.e. Microprose, Hasbro, GOG, Steam, Retroism). The check is performed both at setup time and every time you start BMS. If no valid installation is found, BMS will exit with a corresponding error message. U2 is an incremental update on top of 4.36 base + U1, so you need to have the BMS 4.36 Full Installer package and Update 1 available on your PC. You can both update your existing 4.36 base + U1 installation as well as perform a fresh 4.36 base + U1 + U2 installation from scratch, as you like. See the installation instructions below for details. This mod may not be used for any commercial purposes. Any such use may constitute a violation of the intellectual property of Tommo Inc and the non-commercial Terms and Conditions under which Benchmark Sims make this mod available to you. 1 pointNEW SKINS RELEASED All two-seater skins have been removed from the User Skins, More Skins and Alternative Skins mods. I have placed them in a separate Two-Seater Mod. So now there are four. A number of new fighter skins have been added to the Alternatives for Staffels 37/40/41/41/43/44s/45/46/48?49 and 50. No 8th skin pack was created for these latest skins. Instead, the 96 new fighter skins have been added to Pack 1 to fill up the space left by the removal of the two-seaters that were there. There has been significant shifting of skins between mods and numerous tweaks and corrections. So, it will be necessary to download all four mods to avoid duplications and that warning message that comes up if you have the previous version of one of these Mods and add the new version of another that has some of the same skins in it. The ReadMe files have been changed as well. I eliminated all the change logs as most of them are not really relevant and have become tedious and confusing over time. They could still use a little work but they’re good enough for now. The most significant feature of these new releases are the Roland skins. These are possibly going to be added to the WOFF Skin Pack in the future, but I am releasing them in the interim. The panels and fittings have been altered to represent six different production models, along with various new camouflage schemes. There are fewer unit markings and some new ones that have a historical basis. I have moneyed around with the Pfalz DIIIa skins. I started out just adding some bling to a few, examples below, but ended up adding some new features to them. I, evidently, have no self control. OvStachel is working on a complete refresh of the Pfalz, which will take some time. In the interim, I have reworked the lozenge wings and fuselage fittings on my modified skins, and I will rework some of the earlier ones as time permits. The skins in the WOFF Skin pack do not have these modifications unless they are ones I modified previously for the Alternate Skins Mod. When Ov releases his new Pfalz in the future, these will all have to be pulled and redone if they are not part of his refresh. The refresh includes a new mapping for the Pfalz skin, and the present ones will not work on it. But that won’t be for some time, possibly years . I have made four new personal skins with these modifications for you guys to use for your own personal markings, or just to fly as is. For references on the fabric application, shading, fitting and other changes to the skin, I mostly used, Windsock’s Datafile 21 and their “PFALZ DIIIA AT WAR!” volumes 1 and 2. The Wingnut Wings website was also very useful. Plus, I referred to mockups of OvStachel’s new work for comparison.
