8 pointsHello everyone, It have been a while since I have posted here. I want to thank everyone for all the supports. My wife have been making remarkable recover with her health. We are continuing to work together on our health recovery. Not only she is working on healing her health, something happened to me as well. (My eye health just decided to go haywire again after going through stresful situations. It can't be helped and I have been making some progress on the healings through!) However, no matter what, we won't give up on the goal of being healed completely. I sincerely miss working on Saad - Zafir and SFCE projects. I do not know what the future will bring, however, when my wife and I are doing very well, I would be more than happy to work on both SFCE and Saad - Zafir project again. I hope that all is well with everyone here too! Cheers! Eagle114th

2 pointsA few days back, i had the chance to travel to Europe, this was a long delayed (for several reasons) trip i had and had also the opportunity to meet some of the CA old timer guys, must say pics speak a thousand words, so, i will spam with some: The first guy i met as i arrived to Amsterdam was my master @logan4 and we made a visit to the Lelystad Museum, my first time watching up close with a MiG-21 Love at first sight! Many More planes seen that day Next day i met another long time friend @Muesli and went to met some places: And the next day, we had a very nice day, we mat @Derk and he kindly made a guided day on the National Militair Museum, 4 CA team members together! Later in the week we met @76.IAP-Blackbird and headed for Germany, no planes this time, but good plans (and stairs) and good times! After some (not much) days, i moved over to Cracow to met the final guy, our very @Stary and we were able to have some good time (eating pierogis) that night Next day, i HAD TO pay a visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau Museums And for the last day, we met again with Stary to go to the Lotnictwa Museum in Cracow, where i was a kid in a candy shop with so many MiGs, Sukhois and others around! All in all, it has been a hell of a trip, and, once again, i would like to thank you guys for making it to happen! And the saddest part of the trip... Thanks CA for the friendship!!!

1 pointHello everyone, I updated the thread title to SFCE. The reason why the name is Strike Fighter Community Expansion is that this mod uses various mods made by authors from CombatAce. This mod is not only for my Saad - Zafir project. It is also for the community to use freely too! What you will see in SFCE: However, SFCE, in another hand, does NOT add any new add-on plane to SF2. The reason of this: With SFCE, anyone can use it as base to add any mods to it, build their own mod pack on top of it, or import big mod packs and upgrade it to work with SFCE. LINK to SFCE Beta 1.2a: https://www.mediafire.com/file/8s9f09dp35iwyjb/SFCE_v1.2a.7z/file I am able to release the beta now, it is all thanks to CombatAce community for the supports and pictures needed for the projects, including Ravenclaw_007, Wrench, Nightshade/PR, Menrva, Daddyplanes, and Trotski00 for helping me with advice, pictures/videos references, modding, and aircraft information and Coupi for testing and fixing the sounds problems in F-4s ini files. I especially want to thank to all authors of mods for giving me the permissions to use various mods for this project. If there is any names I forgot to mention here, please let me know. I will add your names here asap. My apologies. this beta version Includes changes to all A-1s, A-4s, and F-4s series. A-6 is being worked on now. The feedback will be always helpful to improve this mod even further. Please let me know if you see any errors with the loadout, sounds, and other features. BUGS / ISSUES: 1) I am still puzzled by these bugs. When using F-4s and turning the navigation light on, as you start rolling down the runway, the light won't cover the whole runway. There are sections that blackout the light area. If any of you know how to solve it, please let me know. If any of you know or suggest additional mods I am not aware of that improves TW aircraft, please let me know too. 2) There is one issue in Egyptian Mirage 5SDE's loadout.ini. BFT is not working in loadout.ini, BUT you still will be able to have 4 of bombs loaded instead of having total 8 bombs with BFT automatically. At least BFT still works well and you can manually load them in loadout. If any of you know how to fix this, please let me know and I will happily update SFCE with it ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hello everyone, I have to put the project on halt for now. The life situation suddenly changed. My wife is in hospital and I am doing everything to take care of the situation. It is the hardest time in my life. I need to step away from CombatAce for time being until the situation improves. I will be back someday. Eagle114th

1 pointQuick bump to this thread -- good news: Swambast has managed to retrieve all of the Bleriot XI files after a hard drive crash of last fall. Next up are some final additions to the model, and then proper mesh splitting, pivot point adjustments, and other related features. After that comes the ini file crunching phase and FM testing. This will all of course take several more months -- ideally, I hope to have a working beta model, and that flies, by sometime next spring -- but it all depends on how the project develops further since both Swambast and I are also busy with other duties and real work. Will post again under this thread when important developmental milestones are reached with the Bleriot. Pic. below is one of the latest Bleriot renders done by Swambast. Cheers all, Von S

1 pointI am fine-tuning this beast, but there is always some data to adjust, I never got a photo of its cockpit, they will have to settle for the mig 21 PF with some panels deleted from the data, here is a new skin and I can not invest anymore time on this project.
