3 pointsJust to let any of you know that there is a Facebook group i made for All air combat sims. Don't get many screenshots or posts about SF2 there. Would love if some of you would share some screenshots with us and get the word out about this great sim.The Facebook group is called Air Combat Patrol . Thanks ,Scott

3 pointsWhen I was in Afghanistan my laptop running Vista would crap on me, and I had to redo the whole thing, no external hard drives, nothing. Thankfully it settled down while doing the Super Hornet Package. Before that I lost some good files though, mainly pictures from the deployment. After that, I started using external hard drives.

2 pointsThanks boss! I think the entire community owes Erik a HUGE thank you. If fact, if you're so moved, perhaps maybe doing something for CombatAce. Like, maybe a subscription?? Something to think about Like Erik said, if anyone finds something amiss, shoot me a PM with the link to the issue, and we'll try to get it sorted

1 pointOnly a thought, i had while i was watching Top Gun Maverick last weekend. Why not making a terrain mod with a deep valley, which is the path to the target? High desity of SAM, an airfield close by .... We need high mountains up to the sea. A deep valley. Snow. But which terrain as basic? Completly new? Or the Caucasus part of my Southern Ukraine and Crimean Peninsula terrain? Or Korea MiG Alley terrain? Somewhere in the east of the map? Or something else? Only an idea.

1 pointit has its uses. for me its keepin in touch with family, some of the CA crowd outside CA, and contacting veteran groups when doing research if you scroll past the political crap, its not that bad

1 pointLol I have two for movies and TV shows for iTunes, and other movies. My third one has all my work I've done over the years, as well as backups for SF2. And I make sure that it's handled with care.

1 pointRaine, thanks for the welcome back. I hope it's a long tale too. That's certainly the intention. I'm sorry for your loss although it appears to have had some positive effects too. It's definitely a human trait how one can get positives from such a sad occurrence but it happens. Now to young Bell-Gordon. A fine tale with some fine fighting. A good job on the Roland, they are not easy targets at all, as hopefully young Reimann will show too. There seems to be a fine camaraderie in Bell-Gordon's unit which is good to see. Even with the angry claim gods, he's become an ace....top job. I'll add Reimann's next instalment shortly although it has a minimum of flying and is mostly composed of freezing cold, snow and too much Schnapps.

1 pointI'm also looking a fiddling with Russo's T-34A/B Mentors; giving them more accurate decals and such. They're unarmed trainers, so not really much for them to do but sit around and look pretty. But, that's good enough for me! Pennsocola is not on OTC ... it end in central Floridia
