Me and my wingman cruising peacefully along the border... When we encountered these guys looking for trouble... One of them engaged my wingman with hostile intent..... So I had permission to engage with predictable results !

On both sides of the river, 80% of the houses are 1 height and painted in white with flat roofs, the roofs were painted in different colours, so you can see houses with grey roofs, blue roofs, white roofs... Also the ocasional orange roof tiled house but those are far less frequent. See attached pics. Regarding palm trees there is the ocasional palm planted on villages or along the roads, but no palm trees on the fields, nothing at all, so I would get rid of them. There are trees, but not that many as in the SF2 terrain.

Nice i love it. With the green tileset it would be possible to maked a seasoned terrain. One for dry and one wet weather periode.

WIP Bay of Pigs (small) campaign addon for Operation Tainted Cigar for SF2....

The main concern for some 3D artists is if it is going to be used for profit, and can they have a format that isn't easily hacked. I don't know how "tough" LOD is but that was the main concern by the 3D artist for the Super Hornet I bought. If you can contact the artist and see what he/she says first and get permission. Other than that the sky is the limit really sometimes with models purchased from 3D sites. And read the licenses too. He may not have a problem with it and it may have to be pared down for poly count, but you can still get a reasonable look from an edited model and so on. And make sure it's mainly MAX compatible too. I looked at the page and it looks cool.

Hi everyone thought i'd start a topic about home made (build) cockpits has i've just updated mine .So some info on mine it's modular the sides and the top interlock there a bass speaker fixed under front . Two 6x9 speakers mounted one each side 32 inch screen 1920x1080 at 75hz .The right panel is fake photo's laminated and stuck down The left panel is a real working panel i made myself .This panel has working gear lever and lights buttons for jettison tanks ,AA AG weapons ,emc ,brakes ,lights,speed brake ,hook ,chaff and flares...hope you like it

I think the estuary should be in full muddy brown, look at the pics... BTW, love the green tileset version!! as Gepard said can be a nice seasonal variation.

you know, one of my ideas that never progressed too far was to have the Lexington take on some TA-4s and Stoofs or Sea Kings for convoy escort duty, as well as a major what if with the above on a Forrestal that actually became a CVT. mandatory screenie (not my work, but a glimpse into the future)

During Bay of Pigs VA-34 A-4B Skyhaks from the USS Essex flew a CAP/ escort mission with the intention of protecting the Rebal A-26 Invaders but due to a timing cock up were an hour late and missed engaging the Cuban T-33A fighters. They also flew multiple reconnaissance flights over the invasion beach throughout the incident. Due to President Kennedy insisting that there be no proof of US involvement the Skyhawks had their USN markings painted over. This was one of the first VSF Skyhawk detachments and the A-4B could not carry the AIM-9 at this point so Skyhawks operating over Cuba just had two wing drop tanks plus thier 20mm cannons.
