Just had a funny thought about that ... It's a good thing the RAF and Commonwealth air forces used letters for the plane in squadron marking. Imagine if (someone) used numbers .... that means one of those birds would be labeled FU 2

F-15N Sea Eagles of VF-103 on their final cruise aboard USS John F Kennedy, somewhere in the Mediterranean, 2004... The squadron would go on to upgrade to the F-15NSE (Navalised Silent Eagle), nicknamed the 'NES' or 'Mario' by it's crews...

Well, that doesn't rule out FU C and FU K. I wonder if No.453 Sqd RAAF used those combo's? But then again, Aussie's don't swear... (ducks for cover)

Supermarine Spitfire F.Mk.24 - No. 453 Royal Australian Air Force, RAF Pacific Command, 1947 There is a little problem here as by May 1945 it was deemed that Okinawa did not need air defence. The two RAF Tempest squadrons that were being prepared for Tiger Force were for escort duties (an odd choice with Mustangs available).

A VAQ-562 pilot about to crash on the USS Nimitz due to low power when trapping. (I haven't yet figured out to trap the Prowler. The Growler I do fine but yeah it'll be some time before I get the Prowler).

It's too bad we don't have multi player anymore. About a hundred year ago, Major Lee built a special "air race" terrain, with towering rock spires to be used as the pylons for turns and defining the route.

These are proposed schemes by Fightertown sent to VFC-12 if I understand it right. If VFC-12 didn't use them then they're essentially What If schemes and so on, so no going to the PAO for something that doesn't exist at the unit.

I think it got lost eons ago, during one of the crashes the site had. (asteroid impact!!!). I used it as the basis for the "Mid West USA" map, highly modified!!!. I may have it archived, i'll have to go through my CDs and Zip Discs (yeah, it's that old!). I"ll see what I can find
