Hello everyone! I have a report to share about the big progress on A-4 series pack: After finishing working on Israel A-4Ns, after learning how to check to ensure that the optical sight is properly aligned with the depressed gun for both AA and AG, for either cockpit method or HUD methods, I discovered that some of the A-4 wasn't properly aligned. So I went through A-4A - B - C - E - F - L - M, A-4G, A-4K, A-4 E - F - H - N Ayit and re-checking and ffixing any mis-aligned optical sight and gun aim angle. Here is screenshots of A-4N (Early) with AN/APG-145 radar: (NOTE: Since the information on this radar is not yet found, I am basing it on Early A-4M (1971)'s radar.) 1980s version of A-4N Ayit (With LGB capability) A-4N AyitM (Modernized) - 2000s version, the gunsight and in AA mode, the 'leading lines are re-made in higher resolution, I hope you like it! Next, the Argentina A-4P (A-4B), A-4C, and A-4AR Fightinghawk are completed as well! Here is A-4AR with ARG-1 V2 (AN/APG-66) texture (NOTE: This texture and HUD is based on the wonderful work of BANIDOS-TEAM and DTMDragon) By the way, the folder structure have been updated and changed; Here is an example of A-4 Skyhawk folders: What we can see, each fo folders have the updatd avionic files that are designed for each mods made by modders, including thirdwire. For example, if you want files for thirdwire only, then you sue folder "THIRDWIRE'. if you have DTMDragon's A-4N Ayit, A-4M Skyhawk II, and other A-4s, then you go to the fodler "DTMDRAGON". That way, it is easy for any of us to know which files belong to TW or mods made by various modders. Finally, this is my favorite part; Turn on/off sights (SIGHT MODE) for pre-HUD for early cold war aircraft. When you are either on land, parking taxing, or crusing in NAV mode, the sight is off by dfault. To turn optical sight on, you switch to AA or AG MODE or by changing sight mode. NOTE: All aircraft with actual HUD, it is always enabled by default, especaily for all HUD mods. Nnext, optional accessiblity part, it is the most fun part of working with the optical sight! Spent some of time designing it as 'what if' it was made in the early cold war era, something that is lore-friendly, very simple and 'could have happened". So I came up with this: WHen IRM have the lock on target, the solid small circle will appear on front, center of optical sight. I still need to be careful who I actualy have lock on. A-4s Skyhawk is finally completed. Now moving on to A-1, F-8 and other aircraft, to revisit and see if there is any thing needs fixing. Eagle114th

During the 1985 Horreya air show, the parani air force presented a brand new MiG-Ye8 with unusual markings. Serving in the "Parani Air Service" detachment the number 335 was adorned with a dove of peace and a dhimari-style tail band, symbolizing efforts to create friendly relations between the two countries. The flight demonstration was a great success with the public cheering loudly at each low pass.

need some help i´m working on the F-4E ARN-101 cockpits , the late ARN-101 cockpits have this Auxiliary Digital Display Indicator , i try to get it working for the ETE GS mode the GS is working and showing the ground speed in knots. , the ETE ( Estimated Time Enroute ) is showing the time from waypoint to waypoint but it is not showing it correctly , 1 minute should have 60 seconds and not 100 seconds , any idea how i can fix this ??? or do i have to get used to 100 seconds per minute ??? [ETE_Display] Type=RANGE_INDICATOR CounterNodeFormat=ETE_Dig%d MovementType=DIGITAL_DISPLAY ValueUnit=MINUTES Scale=0.1 [GS_Display] Type=GROUND_SPEED_INDICATOR CounterNodeFormat=GS_dig%d MovementType=DIGITAL_DISPLAY ValueUnit=KNOTS 4 minutes 92 seconds to waypoint with a ground speed of 349 knots any ideas or help is more than welcome , it would be so cool if i get this working correctly

EF2000 Typhoon Add-on February 13th, 2025 (1st Release) by GKABS, Bongodriver, ace888, compufat and Menrva >For Strike Fighters 2 games This is a complete add-on of the EF2000 Typhoon aircraft, featuring all of its Real World operators. The original model by Bongodriver has been overhauled by GKABS with additional details, including a proper PIRATE System built into the aircraft's 3d model. The package currently includes the following operators and relative skins produced by ace888, GKABS and compufat, with tweaks by yours truly where needed for quality consistency: -Royal Air Force, 15 skins -German Air Force, 14 skins -Italian Air Force, 9 skins -Spanish Air Force, 5 skins -Austrian Air Force, 2 skins -Royal Saudi Air Force, 2 skins -Kuwait Air Force, 2 skins -Qatar Emiri Air Force, 1 skin -Royal Air Force of Oman, 1 skin I further polished the package by adding historically accurate weapon loadouts for all operators throughout the years, my own selection of sounds, new cockpit and HUD textures and other smaller tweaks here and there. The incredibly detailed weapons included in the package are the courtesy of ravenclaw_07. Notes: -The aircraft folder is named "EF2000". In order to avoid mismatches and bugs of any sort, it's highly suggested to either remove or rename any pre-existing "EF2000" folder you might have. -You need to tweak the SoundList.ini file in order to fully experience any new sounds. Read "(Add to SoundList)" for further details, and remember to extract the SoundList.ini file from the FlightData.cat archive, if you do not have a custom one in your mod folder already. >Credits (in no particular order): -GKABS, for reworking the original aircraft 3d model by Bongodriver, for skins and decals for Kuwait and Qatar and for his reworked templates. -ravenclaw_07, for his fantastic high quality recreations of missiles, bombs and pods. -ace888, for reworking the original add-on by Bongodriver with several new skins and decals for all operators of the time. -compufat, for supporting this project with skins of special liveries. -Bongodriver, for his original EF2000 aircraft and cockpit 3d models and for the skin templates. -My girlfriend, for supporting me in all of my endeavors.

I’m reminded by all this that round about 1970 I saw a report in the aviation press of the F-105 “Thunderstick” mod. This was a complete modernisation of the ac’s avionics to give it an all-weather strike capability. Must have made the Thud’s Vietnam veterans smile (sidebar: the USAF exchange instructor when I was at RAFC Cranwell in 1976 was a 100-mission Thud driver. Although RAF exchange pilots with the USAF weren’t allowed to fly in Vietnam, with our traditional extensive cross-embedding we still got to learn all the operational lessons. Thank you USAF) The Thunderstick’’s visible difference from a regular Thud was a much bigger spine fairing, with the canopy cross-section being carried back all the way to the base of the fin. I don’t think many were converted though, maybe only a couple of dozen.
