      Here you have a collection of generic skins representing the 8th Air Force Fighter Groups North American P-51D/K Mustang during WWII.
       
      They are NOT 100% accurate and definitely NOT perfect since camoflage and/or markings patterns differed from plane to plane within the same squadron, therefore the term "generic" (constructive criticism will be accepted, however, rivet-counters, nit-pickers and haters in general, well, you can talk amongst yourselves).
       
      This time I have dicided to split the original pack into the fighter squadrons in the 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 14th and 15th Army Air Forces, so definitely expect
      more to come!
       
      Most serial numbers used are stock ones and others are modified (colored) stock serials.
       
      You must have the following for this pack to work:
      1. Strike Fighters 2 Expansion Pack 1 installed to get the P-51.
      2. WWII Nations.ini
      3. WWII Formation.ini
      4. WWII weapons pack
       
      Also, you'll need to update your squadron list, which is included in each pack.

      *There is a probability that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs,
      due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*
       
      **Note: These aircraft should =ONLY= be used in a seperate CBI-centric mods folder to
      prevent them from showing up where, historically, they shouldn't. The
      Aircraft/GroundObject sets for CBI are substantially different from Central or
      SouthWest Pacific areas. Be advised, the actual India/Burma/SEA terrain has been
      greatly delayed due to "some issues". Eventually, I'll get back to it.**
       
      This pack contains a modifided/reskinned version of Veltro2K's Wellington for use in
      the Burma-India Theatre by the RAF. This is the complete aircraft.
      The unit represented is:
       
      No. 99 Sqdn "Madras Presidency"
       
      from June 1942 thru September 1944, when they requipped with Liberators.
       
      The skin remains in bmp format, and decal rendomization is TRUE. ALL markings are
      decals.
      Engine and other sounds are included. Bombs, pilot figures, guns are not; you should
      have these already.
       
      On the Aircraft Selection Drop-down, you'll see
       
      Wellington Mk. X (v2k)
       
      (even though there's only veltro's Wellingtons availalbe -- it's habit!)
       
      As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So,
      please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

    3. SF2 Small Cargo Ship (Soviet/Russian)

      = For SF2, Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED! =
       
      **Note: This mods uses SF2NA style coding for the ship, included the Col lod, radar statements and so forth. You SHOULD be adding this to a FUll-5 Merged install for proper operation. This mod was built and tested in the SF2NA environment.***
       
      This is a modification to Stephan1918's VERY cool First Eagles cargo ship. This ship has been reflagged for Soviet use. It's operational dates are 1918-2050, so it should cover all time frames. This is very similiar to what I did for the WW2 versions, seen in both the Atlantic and Pacific. This'll add yet another target for Auntie Ship mission. Be advised -- it's bites back!
       
      I've given it a 'generic' name as "MV North Star Class Cargo Ship". I've tried to keep it dissimiliar from other Soviet Cargo ships available in other mods (hence the folder being called "SovCargoShip").
       
      As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. As mentioned above, give the "Notes" section a read too.

      These are .psd files with redrawn panel lines and rivets. You will need a paint program such as Photoshop or Gimp that can read .psd files. You also need an know how to work with layers.

    11. Dhimari MiG-17Dh

      In 1965, due to the rising tensions between the Kingdom of Dhimar and the Empire of Paran, the Royal Dhimari Intelligence Service started Operation Mockingbird, in wich it planned to illegally acquire second-handed Soviet equipment from an undisclosed nation. The RDIS managed to buy 15 MiG-17F aircrafts, that once in Dhimari power, will be renamed MiG-17Dh. Based on Megnah Airbase, once ensembled, insignias and cockpit labels where changed, and the aircrafts enterded official service.
       

      Installation is as usual. You will need Stary's great MiG-15/17 cockpit. It is not included, you can find it here: http://combatace.com/files/file/12684-mig-15-mig-15-bis-mig-17-cockpit/
      It is a MiG-17F with a modified Somalian Air Corps skin made by Wrench.

    13. MiG-21Dh

      In 1978, the Dhimari Intelligence Service started Operation Apodrasi. It consisted on detecting and investigating military personnel that may want to defect, due any reason, political, idiological, personal, etc.. Some low profile military officials and privates of the Parani Army had their family in Dhimar, and, most important, 10 MiG-21 pilots. In a cold and dark night, these were on CAP near the border and "got lost", only to end up landing on Quneitra Airfield. One of the pilots along with it's aircraft was sent to the US. The remaining 9 pilots stayed in Dhimar helping train their new friends, and the MiG-21s where immediatley put into service, as MiG-21Dh.
       
       
      Installation is as usual. This model is based on Ataribaby's MiG-21s. Thanks Ataribaby!!!

      These are .psd files with redrawn panel lines and rivets. You will need a paint prgroam such as Photoshop or Gimp that can read .psd files. You also need to know how to work with layers.
       
      The lines and rivets are painted in pure black with a second offset underlayer in pure white. The opacity for all is adjustable.
       
      The Wing.psd is mirrorred. It serves both left and right wings.
       
      If you find any problems with it, please PM me. If you improve it, please PM me a copy.

      For the weapons you'll need to have one version of the F-1 already installed.
      The Weapons were created by the Mirage Factory and are therefore not covered by the permission.

      FIRST THING.
       
      You will need to have the Essex CV LOD. from Rising Sun over at the Yankee Air Pirates site. This skin and future skins I plan to release will not work with out it.
       
      ===============================================
      TO INSTALL:
       
      unzip to a temp folder or your desktop or somewhere else that's easy to find
       
      In the Essex folder, located in the GroundObject folder, make a copy of one of the CV9 skin folder and rename it what you want such as CV12 MS33.
       
      Then, simply, copy/paste the provided CV12 MS33 folder into you newly created CV12 MS33 skin folder.
       
      You'll probably be asked "OVERWRITE?", just say Yes.
       
      That's it.

      This is the Mesure 33 pattern the USS Hornet had during WW2

      This is a very rough and first attempt at doing skins for ships for me.If you can and want to improve them and add more detail, please do. I have no problem with any one doing that. Due to some limitations with the BMP file for the island, the pattern will not be exact. This is mainly with the 5in
       
      mounts and weapons directors. They would need their own bmp files. If some one can figure out how to do that, plaese let me know.

      New skin, decal pak and modifided data ini (new engine sound and fake pilot ADF loop) for Wolf257's P-51A Mustang, for use in the Burma/India regions. This mod is designed for use on the "Mustange of the CBI" pak available at the following url:

      This skin represents P-51A's of the 1st Air Commando Group in India/Burma in late 1943-45.
      The skin is in jpg format, and decal randomization is TRUE. All markings, excepting the ACG stripes, are decals. The skin iteslf is new, with additional surface detailings. NO weapons are included; you should have them all already.
       
      As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.

      This is a "Theatre Specific" release of Veltro2K's =NEW= B-25C/D Mitchell Medium Bomber. This package =ONLY= represents Mitchells used in the PTO/SoWesPac region.
      Reminder: this is the Glass Nosed, bombadier equipped version, NOT the multi-gun nosed strafer version. Those will come later, as they are finished.
      However, Because these skins carry no distinguishing squadron markings, they'd be usable throughout the Pacific Basin, and even into the CBI theatre (read: AAF units in China and India).

      This pack contains a Theatre Specific skin/decal set for the recently released B-25C/D by Veltro2K.
      The aircraft is available at the following URL:

      You should install this aircraft FIRST to your MTO-centric mods folder BEFORE installing this pak. Instructions on what files are to be replaced (or overwritten), are in the "To Install" section below.
       
      The unit(s) represented herein are:
       
      81st BS
      82nd BS
       
      Both from the 12th Bomb Group, as seen in Egypt/Libya in mid-late 1942 through 1943 (later in Tunisia). The aircraft is finished in "desert pink" and neutral grey. The insignia is the standard 'star and ball' without the yellow surround.
       
      There is one skin, in the main aircraft folder, and it's in jpg format. All markings are decals The serials are 'generic' in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft within these unit, but ARE for the model variant depicted. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. There are NO nose arts. Other texture artists are encouraged to do the research, and create proper artwork decals. "Battle Numbers" for both squadron are 100% correct.
      New, Theatre Specific ™ Data and loadout inis are included, and these will overwrite/replace those from the orignal release pak, linked above.
      Any other items included in the original pack, excepting as noted, are reused here.
       
      When in game you'll (still) see
       
      B-25C/D Mitchell (v2k)
       
      This will differentiate this Mitchell from any others you may (or may not) have.
       
      As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! You will either be backing up/renaming some inis, deleting the orignal skins and decals, and applying the items in this kit.
      You are advised to unzip this package to a temp folder, your desktop or somewhere easily accessed and READ the install instructions BEFORE intalling. Makes things easier, doncha know!
       
      REMINDER: this skin pak is =ONLY= for an MTO Centric Mods folder.

      Here you have a collection of generic skins representing the 5th Air Force Fighter Groups North American P-51D/K Mustang during WWII.
       
      They are NOT 100% accurate and definitely NOT perfect since camouflage and/or markings patterns differed from plane to plane within the same squadron, therefore the term "generic" (constructive criticism will be accepted, however, rivet-counters, nit-pickers and haters in general, well, you can talk amongst yourselves).
       
      This time I have decided to split the original pack into the fighter squadrons in the 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 14th and 15th Army Air Forces, so definitely expect
      more to come!
       
      Most serial numbers used are stock ones and others are modified (colored) stock serials.
       
      You must have the following for this pack to work:
      1. Strike Fighters 2 Expansion Pack 1 installed to get the P-51.
      2. WWII Nations.ini
      3. WWII Formation.ini
      4. WWII weapons pack
       
      Also, you'll need to update your squadron list, which is included in each pack.
