View File Armstrong Whitworth Meteor NF.11 Although based on the T.7 twin seater, it used the fuselage and tail of the F.8, and the longer wings of the F.3. An extended nose contained the AI Mk 10 (the 1940s Westinghouse SCR-720) Air Intercept radar. As a consequence the 20 mm cannons were moved into the wings, outboard of the engines. A ventral fuel tank and wing mounted drop tanks completed the Armstrong Whitworth Meteor NF.11 268 RAF, 25 BAF, 20 RDAF, 41 AA What's in: - a new plane - 27 RAF, BAF, AA, RDAF skins - pilot, weapons, sounds - all planes built serials Credits: - Vetro 2k: original T.7 model - Yakarov79: nightfigher upgrade modelling - paulopanz: skins, decals etc Operations: - key 10 canopy open Enjoy! @paulopanz Submitter paulopanz Submitted 10/03/2018 Category Meteor

I've been lucky enough to be stationed over in the US for a over a year now. The RAF Voyager tanker deployed for Red Flag were kind enough to allow me and other members of the unit on a flight.

First combat use by the US: https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/us-marine-corps-f-35b-makes-first-air-strike-in-afg-452259/ First deck landing on the Queen Elizabeth: Incidentally the same pilot made the last Harrier deck landing by the RN. Can't find any articles yet but pics have started circulating on aviation forums: https://forum.keypublishing.com/forum/modern-military-aviation/147967-2018-f-35-news-and-discussion/page36 https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/uk-prepares-for-f-35b-carrier-trials-452238/ First crash (pilot got out unharmed): https://www.cbsnews.com/news/military-plane-crash-beaufort-county-south-carolina-live-updates-2018-09-28/

I've just uploaded a new 3rd version of a file. (In fact it is 2nd version..but 2nd ver. was never released) Now BM and SM maps added. Small changes here and there. Reworked cockpit. Read info on the download page. If you have already an old version all aircraft folders must be deleted. After testing with overwrite some errors occurred. Decals/ weapons etc..are all fine. Aircraft must be replaced. I've done a similar job to other Stallions / Jolly Giants so I will upload them soon also. kind regards.

Looking at the Updated Korat RTAFB recently posted reminded me of something I have been wanting since I read When Thunder Rolled. Could someone make a relatively accurate static terrain object of the dog Rosco, 388th Tactical Fighter Wing mascot and honorary base commander, and the necessary data in the Targets and Types INI files for him to appear outside the Korat RTAFB Officers Club from May 1966 to September 12th, 1975. Below are links to some sites with photos, a bit of film, and info about Rosco for modeling and skinning reference. The Vietnam War Years of Korat Royal Thai Air Base - Roscoe - Photos and stories about the dog who "commanded" an Air Base from those who raised Roscoe, to those who encountered Roscoe, to those who have guarded his legacy and legend! Robert W. Smith - autobiography - Limited Weapons, Assured Defeat Chapter 5 - Limited Weapons, Assured Defeat, 13 October: Rosco photo. Find a grave - Roscoe Dog (1965-1975) There is film of Roscoe in the video below, the link should have the correct time set, if not then he appears from time index 26:36 to 27:09, about 33 seconds in total.
