5 pointsnice Nightshade. but when CPT Masters was discovered to have gone on yet another unauthorized mission, he was summarily drummed out of service. Damn those regs, even if what he did was right he did get an excellent letter of recommendation for his next day job tho, and a position in the Reserves, based somewhere down south....

4 pointsI concur - in some cases their collaboration is fairly evident. Writing of another offering from the same source, I've been working on the Caudron R.XI and bringing that into one of my FE2 installs in its original role as an escort fighter. Original skin is shown in upper right with some other WIP variants also shown:

4 pointsHi! If there are still comrades here that the great and terrible Caesar capun did not have time to ban, I bring to their attention that something interesting on our topic has appeared on the A-Team Scunkworks website. True, this is only Beta Models, but this is not a big problem. By themselves, the models look pretty good (you can feel Geezer's hand) …and these ribbed wings - I just love them! http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ In addition, there are a number of propeller-driven airplanes from the inter-World War period (in Pre-WW2 Planes section). It looks like Geezer has shared some of his work with capun.

1 pointView File Mirage F1BK Mirage F1BK This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. The Kuwait Air Force (Al-Quwwat al-Jawwiya al-Kuwaitiya) ordered 2 Mirage F1BK, a two-seat operational conversion trainer. The extra seat and controls added only 30 cm (12 in) to the length of the fuselage, but at the cost of less internal fuel capacity and the loss of the internal cannon. A big thank to all on Combatace and C6 forums that helped us solving issues we encountered. Any omission in credits is totally unwanted, if I forgot somebody, let me know, I will correct this. This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware. Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms. Enjoy The Mirage F-1 Team. Submitter ludo.m54 Submitted 01/03/2021 Category Mirage F1

1 pointAlso, if buildings still display visual oddities on occasion, or any other objects for that matter - I recommend the following post (helps to get rid of graphics flickering, etc.): https://combatace.com/forums/topic/95723-new-in-fe2/?tab=comments#comment-779025 Happy flying, Von S

1 pointI turned some of my settings down and that was exactly the problem, everything looks like it should now. Thanks for the quick solution!
-
1 pointI think that has to do with certain graphics cards and setting effects to the highest level. try lowering your effects level and see if that helps.

1 pointBetter get it quick, before they roll back to the official v1.2 (from the un-official v1.28). It may happen very soon now. Make a copy of the game too in case its a delete and re download.

1 pointThanks so much Russ, he looks great in the Hawk.. But in the Gnat, it looks like the Flintstones are flying the plane! I reverted back to the PilotGnat that came with the model and swapped in your .bmp so what I now have at least fits in the cockpit and has a bit of red. which is good enough for me...

1 pointView File Antonov An-26 "Curl" After successful operations of the An-24T tactical transport in austere locations, interest in a version with a retractable cargo ramp increased. Initial studies for he retractable ramp were carried out as part of the projected An-40 medium transport. When given the go-ahead for the An-26 in March 1968, the Antonov OKB adapted the ramp design of the An-40 to the An-24 fuselage, resulting in the An-26. Particular attention was given to the military mission, and the majority of early An-26 production was delivered to the VTA (voyenno-transportnaya aviatsiya). Using the majority of the An-24 airframe, with its high-set cantilevered wings, twin turboprops and stalky main undercarriage, the An-26 included military equipment, such as tip-up paratroop canvas seats, an overhead traveling hoist, bulged observation windows and parachute static line attachment cables. The An-26 made its public debut at the 27th Paris Air Show at Le Bourget where the second prototype, CCCP-26184 (c/n00202), was shown in the static aircraft park. The An-26 is also manufactured without a license agreement in China by the Xian Aircraft factory as the Y-14, later changed to be included in the Xian Y7 series. 1 pointApparently there is no slow down from the add-on packs, or other add-ons like skins, terrains etc. that work for v1.2 thus for 1.28-GOG. Some of the Joystick issues where resolved with removing dinput.dll from the gog eaw game folder. It defiantly runs better than the code groups 128 or any version after that. It seems to support DX7 rather than 5/6, thus allowing some benefits of performance, such as High frames per second. I don't know for sure about the DX code being updated or hacked in, but the performance is defiantly there. I get 34 fps in codegroups 128(and later versions) and 64fps in 128-GOG. Not too mention newly restored fog support. I just wish Retroism would share the changes they made in-order to help the other community versions out there to run better. Anyone else get the GoG re-release?

1 pointthen, that makes me wonder, not only what the hell it's for if not for the N/S E/W scale , but if that might be affecting the vertical height field?? Sometimes I wish TK would just show up and answer the fucking questions!!!

1 pointThere is a small bug with the pilot's eyes. Here's the fix : copy / paste it in the pilots folder and overwrite. Sorry GK-MF1ME-Pilot.7z
