Italy, Southern Europe (1963-1991) As war looms between NATO and the Warsaw Pact over Central Europe, Yugoslavia and Hungary are planning to bring the fight to Italian territories. Possible support to this war plan is expected from Albania and Romania. Italian forces and American units stationed on the beautiful peninsula and around its seas are on alert as Switzerland and Austria mantain their neutrality. Italy, Southern Europe (1993-2006) The breakup of Yugoslavia has happened and conflicts erupt in the heart of the Balkans. NATO is planning offensive operations against Serbia with the intent of supporting the independence of Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Bosnia is almost entirely under the control of Serbian factions. Serbia can count on the support of Montenegro against the upcoming NATO bombings.

New terrains inbound! - Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion - CombatACE Saranno disponibili due versioni, una per la Guerra Fredda, l'altra per i terribili conflitti successivi alla dissoluzione della Jugoslavia. I terreni non sono completi come avrei voluto; sebbene la topografia sia molto accurata con moltissimi fiumi e laghi riprodotti manualmente con immensa pazienza, e nonostante la gran cura e ricerca nell'aggiungere tutti i possibili aeroporti, postazioni SAM e siti radar, i terreni mancano di obiettivi da distruggere nelle città. Non ci sono dunque edifici, fabbriche, ponti etc. che renderebbero completa l'esperienza. Il 2022 è stato finora per me un anno molto difficile. È passato un anno da quando ho iniziato a soffrire di un problema di salute che mi priva di energie nonostante la mia giovane età. Sviluppare questo scenario dei Balcani è stata una esperienza non piacevole, data la complessità dell'area e la mia ossessiva volontà di riprodurla con molta fedeltà con gli strumenti a disposizione. Seppur non completo al 100%, ho ritenuto sia il momento di rilasciare questo mio lavoro così come è. Se mai le mie condizioni dovessero migliorare, sarei più che felice di rimetterci mano in futuro per sistemare eventuali bug e aggiungere targets per le città. Dopo il rilascio, prevedo di prendermi una seria pausa dal modding. Ringrazio quel che è rimasto della community di Strike Fighters per il supporto e l'affetto mostratomi. Mi auguro che questo terreno, seppur incompleto, possa riaccendere una qualche fiamma negli appassionati della serie. A presto!

2 pointsBooster time in SF2 world concerning MANPDAS is the short time between launch and the inception of missile engine. Keep in mind that initially the missile is thrown out of the tube (with relatively low speed) and then missile engine starts. This short period is usually between 0.2-0.3 seconds in older MANPADS such as SA-7.

2 pointsWIP SitRep: I'm still working on Kachowka high dam. Swambast made the dam object. And i think it looks great. I made 3 new tiles and puzzled all together. As you can see, the hight field around the dam is not yet correct. And on the last screnshot you can realize, that i have forgotten to repaint one tile. it has still a little part of the former greenish river color. It has to be fix.

1 pointadd release animation 1-2 frames - move model forward 3-4 meters + deploying fins. then delayed booster then sustainer. I think I did it for 9M111 or I was planning to test it that way....not sure it was a long time ago and now I can not check...

1 pointThe real data for Strela 2 booster are: duration of the booster 0.5 seconds, duration of the sustainer 2.0 seconds. But there is also "start booster". I dont know the correct english term. We call it in german "Ausstoßladung". It pushes the missile out of the container. This needs 0.3 seconds. At a distance of 5 meters from launcher the booster starts to operate.

Sicuramente il lavoro sarà all'altezza della qualità a cui ci hai abituati, anche con qualche mancanza o bug, non credo nessuno abbia da ridire. L'importante è che tu ti riprenda. In bocca al lupo.

1 pointIf you mean "release delay" then you just leave it "0". That value is needed for other missile types which in real life they have a short delay between launch command and engine inception.
