For those familiar with the project, the When Thunder Rolled era is primarily set from May to November of 1966 during Operation Rolling Thunder over North Vietnam. While that helps limit the scope of aircraft, it does not mean we are limiting the development efforts. We'd like to solicit your feedback, please. Which Vietnam-ear aircraft/helos would you like to see made available - of course up to our high fidelity standards the best we can. As a reference point, when we last ran this poll, the Skyraider ended up taking the top spot followed by the F-100F and the Mig-17...your feedback welcomed and encouraged. Bonus Screenie - and thus, this was made reality...any talented and interested Skyraider skinners please PM me...

Ahh I see. I'd like to do a Block III Super Hornet but I don't have anybody to make the cockpit yet. I've been doing other things so I haven't focused on it. If somebody would like to do the cockpit for a Block III Super Hornet PM me and we'll get it started. I guess that's my pitch for a road map entry. The rest I can do myself, such as skins and the like but yeah, if somebody can do a proper cockpit that would be great.

For that specific timeframe, it might be interesting to see the F-104s or the F-5s, you would think the US never used these in combat.

my tastes are simpler yet explosive. a new AGM-28 Hound Dog. better mapping than the current would allow a camo version for the late 60s/70s a B57. this was about the most versitile of the tactical nukes, even being used as a depth charge on USN ASW helos. in service from the mid 60s through 92. and on a personal note, a mobile kitchen trailer. feeding Soldiers for a few decades now and used by yours truly from 96 to 17...

X-15 just for the fun of high speed / high altitude / gliding back to airfiled (-> the NF-104 and F-103 ThunderWarrior can already do it) F2Y Sea Dart and any seaboat SE 5000/5003 Baroudeur ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And on a more realistic note (operational aircraft with actual landing gear) F-94C Starfire ( -> the CF-100 Canuck and the F-86D Sabre can already provide the challenge of an only-A2A-rockets armed fighter) But anyway X-15 and F-94C are beautiful aircrafts ! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the WW2 aircrafts Ju-188 and Do-217K/M with a cockpit, for the glass nose view.
