9 pointsI dont write Hoth, because i dont want to have troubles with Disney. I think, a Star Wars mod for SF2 would be a nice thing. Of course we can not have space battles, because the game engine cant handle it well, but a CAS or Strike scenario at the Iceplanet "Hoss" could be possible. Just for fun i started to made a 600 x 600 km all snow terrain with high mountains and flat areas and a fistfull bases. Some for the Rebell Alliance and some for the Imperial Forces. Since i have a Tie-Fighter on my harddrive, i want to have a X-Wing or Y-Wing as opponent. It would be nice if one of our modders could bring them to life. As long there are no X-Wings i use chinese MiG's as opponent. Screenshots: Attack on a Rebell Base was intercepted by Rebell forces, but the Imperial Tie-Fighters fought their way trough the defence.

6 pointsSAAB J29G - 117 Squadron, Israeli Air Force, 1967 During 1956 and 1957 SAAB converted 308 J 29B and J 29E aircraft to J 29F's. In late 1957, with the imminent entry into service of the J 35A Draken, the Swedish Government declared that 40 J 29F's could be offered for export to the Israeli Government who had already made tentative enquiries about the type. Despite having only recently been upgraded the aircraft were overhauled by SAAB to emerge as J 29G's with new Israeli specified inboard missile pylons initially for the AIM-9 Sidewinder short-range air-to-air missile (which had entered service with the US Navy in 1956) but also suitable for the proposed indigenous Shafrir-1 air-to-air missile. Entering service with 117 Squadron of the Israeli Air Force in October 1958 the J 29G's equipped two squadrons (117 and 119) before being retired from service in 1968.

2 pointsView File Kesselbrut & russouk2004 ME 109 COCKPIT JABO for SF 2 Kesselbrut & russouk2004 Me 109 cockpit textures pack for Strike Fighters 2 (WW2 modded games). I finished a pack for Kesselbrut & russouk2004 Me 109 cockpit, with new textures and new painting approach. I worked in one edition that russouk2004 did in this cockpit to represent a Me 109 "Jabo" versions with the "ZSK 244 A-2/Zünderschaltkasten" (ignition switch box for bombs). This is a switch box, more realistic for 109E/F/G/K versions, but you of course, are free to use wherever you wish. The size of some instruments was slightly increased and TGA figures as well, for a better view of them. The cockpit 3D LODs are setted to use jpg files. I'm including also, 5 optional textures for the pilot's legs (Ger_legs). You will find it in the folder (OPTIONAL LEGS). To use one of them just rename the file at your choice to ----> Ger_legs. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Installation instructions Strike Fighters 2: First make a back-up or rename your "original cockpit folder". This is just in case you wish return with your former cockpit later. Then just drop or copy my folder "cockpit" in your Bf 109 aircraft folder of your choice. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ *OPTIONAL* I slightly modded my MinPitchFront & my GunsightMilSize for a better cockpit and Gunsight views (see the screenshots). If you wish to use my MinPitchFront & GunsightMilSize edition ini, Open your Bf-109 cockpit data.ini and make these following editions: [GunsightFront] GunsightMilSize=125 <----------------- you must to add this valor. [CockpitSeat001] MinPitchFront=-57 <----------------- you must to add this valor. This is not mandatory. All cockpit files will work normally without this edition as well That's all. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Credits: - Julio Junqueira skin textures (JPG & TGA files) for Me 109 cockpit. - Kesselbrut & russouk2004 for the Cockpit 3D LODs. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - Thanks to Kesselbrut & russouk2004 for the excellent Me 109 cockpit model. - special thanks to CombatAce.com hosting the files. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ These textures are freeware; you are allowed to use it as you wish, but The names of all contributors listed here, must be added in any new released readmes. 2 pointsView File Kesselbrut ME 109 COCKPIT RLM 63 For SF 2 Kesselbrut Me 109 cockpit textures pack for Strike Fighters 2 (WW2 modded games). I finished a pack for Kesselbrut's Me 109 cockpit, with new textures and new painting approach. Releasing, optional textures for early Me 109 cockpit. The first Me 109s (B/C/D and early Es versions) had their interiors painted with the RLM 63 (grüngrau) which was later replaced by the RLM 66 (schwarzgrau). This option could be, very useful for the Me 109 made by Monty CZ. 1 pointSystemType=CONTROL_SURFACE InputName=PITCH_CONTROL ... MaxControlSpeed= <--- the speed at which the controls are blocked, in meters per second LockOutSpeed=TRUE If there is the "LockOutSpeed=TRUE" entry the MaxControlSpeed is the speed at which the control won't move anymore until the aircraft has slowed down. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ If there's not the "LockOutSpeed=TRUE" entry the MaxControlSpeed is the speed at which the control surface has the maximum effect (before the MachTable values apply). It's the setting for almost all the flight models.

1 pointI can't remember which mod it was but in one of the WW2 champaigns the Japanese kamikazes were set up as dive bombers and their flight models were adjusted so they were unable to pull out of the dive.it ended up looking like they were intentionally crashing into targets. I think adding an invisible bomb that they could release just as they hit would make them able to do real damage to targets. this is all from long ago memories so I'm not sure I have everything correct.

1 pointContinuing with the trend imposed by Coupi , here I am recycling working on a UKR SU-27UB, it is what there is for now, of course if someone also works on a new double seat 3d model , it does not bother me at all to discard this mod
