Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XII - UN Flight, Aeronáutica Militar, 1949 In June 1949 an appeal was made by the United Nations (UN) for military support in the ongoing UN peacekeeping mission in the Kernan Valley district on the border between Dhimar and Paran. In response, the Portuguese government sent a combined Aeronáutica Militar force using men and machines drawn from Tancos Air Base and Ota Air Base to form a new squadron designated as the 'UN Flight'. Initially formed at Tancos Air Base in July 1949, the UN Flight were equipped with eight Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XII fighter aircraft and deployed to Dhimar later in the same month becoming the first combat aircraft to operate on behalf of the UN. All eight Spitfires received UN identifying markings on their fuselage and wore large Cruz de Cristo roundels in all six position with their two-digit Aeronáutica Militar serial numbers carried on the fin and fuselage. Used mainly in the ground-attack and reconnaissance roles the Spitfires occasionally encountered Parani fighter aircraft including Avia-built Fw-190D's but combat was avoided by both sides with the Parani aircraft being escorted away from the Kernan Valley area. The Autumn Truce of 1949 saw the deployment come to an end and the UN Flight returned to Tancos Air Base in November 1949 remaining in service until March 1955. If you move around in game you can average/pinpoint which mesh gives the problem, and correct, multiple veritces on the same location or the broken mesh. Same created when a vertice goes to a position where it is crossing into a neighbouring polygon. You will have to weld these up the same way you did above or reposition if required. When you get a model from other makers, this thing can happen as not all is game ready. First thing to do usually is to weld "almost" everything or look for double surfaces which will create similar shadows. Depend on the model can be lots of work to make it into a condition where the game does not give glitches. Based on the above pic, you have several mesh in the castor mechanism area and one in the right intake.

Hmmmm every thing work fine but Shadow line bug happened... According to my previous experience, this should be caused by the broken surface of the model? I tried to fix the model in some areas, but instead of solving the problem, there is an extra shadow line, damn! P.S. It seems to only appear at certain angles? Ladies and gentlemen, can you give me more tips? I've only heard in some other threads that this is a problem with the model, but no one seems to have explained it further.

LOOOL Yeah, I know what you mean. When the installer kicks in without telling you anything it's very annoying, I give you that. Usually, because I learnt the lesson, if, in that day, I wanna do something on my pc, which is a time consumer, I look into task manager after my pc started to see if Microsoft is showing its ugly face on its columns. If the coast is clear I go on to my business, if not I let it do its job and go into town for a few good hours. LOOOL

Here are some F-35C tweaks. I removed the second ECM2 in the plane, because I don't think it makes a difference, other than damage stuff like redundancy. And I tweaked the radar so it reflects open source information. This should be Block 3 level stuff that I'm working with here. Block 4 stuff they're introducing a new radar (don't have any information on it because it's all classified) so if I can get open source specs I'll tweak the radar. Simply replace the files. The internal ECM jammer is the same as the F/A-18E/F level so there's some power behind it. It's not the silver bullet but it's effective given the scope of the game. F-35CTweaks.7z

F-16A IIAF/IRIAF Pak -- For FULL-4 Merged SF2 (Prefered) and/or SF2:I =ONLY!!!= -- This package is an "Almost If..." aircraft, representing F-16A Falcons, had they actually been delivered to the Imperial Iranian Air Force, as orderd during the Shah's reign. It contains 2 skins (actualy the same skin used twice), created from a partial template of the Stock SF2:I F-16A Netz, and decals to replicate the speculative IIAF and Islamic Republic's AF F-16s. You =MUST= have a Full-4 Merged SF2 install, WITH SF2:I (or better yet -a stand along Iran/Iraq mods folder, built FROM a Full-4 Merged exe), otherwise you will NOT be able to access the needed aircraft lod and cockpit files. By making use of the new 'StartDate=' feature in the textureset inis, the aircraft's marking to switch from IIAF to IRIAF, based on the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran. The aircraft makes use of all stock, In-Game items for weapons, droptanks and whatnots, simplifying installation and reducing package size. (Of course, you still need the Full-4 Merged Install and/or SF2:I or an Iran/Iraq stand-alone, built from the aforementioned Full4 Merged. Getting the point, yet??) As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install. An abreviated "Notes and Other Nonsense" section makes for interesting reading, too. Good Hunting! Wrench Kevin Stein (yes, this was yet another nearly completed mod I had sitting on my HD ... now, in you'alls hot little hands!)
