Most of you that have played any of my terrain mods, know of the placement of "hot dog stand" (in it's various incarnations and names) scattered across the landscape. Well, in looking up some of the airports/bases on mainland China, I came across this image. Now, I'm not talking about the 2 J-10s, but the 'red pinned' tag in the lower right. the "Muchung Beef Shop" might be that building just below the title. Since, that's "My Thing" to do, could it be that the powers that be in China know of my penchent for placing resturants everywhere? And will I get paid for my idea???? The world may never know!!!

Here, I also want to know. aleks1 did a good job, but maybe the model is quite old due to age. My friends and I found a source that was well priced and I think I've put it in a future production plan, but you know...plans are just plans... It would be great to see a brand new mod sooner

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I - No.113 Fighter Squadron, Polish Air Force, 1939 In July 1938 a group of Polish Air Force officers arrived at the Supermarine works for a technical presentation on the Spitfire Type 300 and to watch a series of demonstration flights of the Spitfire flown by Supermarine's chief test pilot Mutt Summers. The Poles left suitably impressed and presented their thoughts directly to a small Parliamentary committee headed by Ignacy Mościcki (the President of the Republic of Poland). With the indigenous PZL.50 Jastrząb fighter still under construction and months away from flying, Mościcki forced through an order for 32 Spitfire Type 300 fighters for delivery during the Spring of 1939. This order was approved by the Air Ministry and a contract between the two governments was finalised on November 18th, 1938. Starting in May 1939, initial deliveries were made to the 113th Fighter Squadron of the Polish Air Force based near Warsaw and by early August the squadron were fully equipped with 16 Spitfire Mk.I's all with the early flat cockpit canopy and two-bladed Watts propellor. At dawn on September 1st, 1939 the squadron were immediately into action defending Warsaw from Luftwaffe Ju-86 bombers and Bf-109 escort fighters and over the next few days the squadron claimed 15 victories for the loss of 3 Spitfires.

Those are J-10s not J-20s. But yes, you're owed royalties for the idea, try contacting Xi.

what if i told you SFMC was SF3? at least as far as anyone here in this reality will experience it. unless...
  11. 3 points
If that is the case, then where is SF3 and why did TK make SFMC instead? I am willing to guess it wasn't for fun, he has a business to run and that requires revenue and tough decisions to be made. SF2NA; by far the most advanced in the series, brought a load of new features over the previous SF2 titles and even that still didn't earn him anywhere near enough money to cover the costs of making it and to continue developing PC based sims... hence the move to mobile games. Here's another challenge for SF3... his last couple of PC sim titles have taught him that the income profile from his PC flight sims simply didn't cover his costs BUT,... let's imagine he did have the funding to develop it, is it really realistic to expect him to punt it all on the hope that it might break even, or would he invest it into something else which is far more likely to generate a steady stream of income? The fact that the recent crowdfunding project reached 16% of the required target showed him that there simply aren't enough people to justify it. If there were, it would have been over subscribed and it would probably be on the digital shelves by now. Please don't get me wrong in anything I have said above and in my previous post, I would absolutely bloody love for the SF* flight sim series to be revitalised and continue being developed into bigger and better sims (there's a reason we all continue to play and mod it, because it's still a really enjoyable series), but unless circumstances were to drastically change in the near future I just can't see it happening. (I really want to be wrong on this).

or, as with even SF2 let alone a 3.... a huge modding community that has created the largest catalog of player flyable aircraft and skins for said aircraft of any Win7 through 11 flight sim. i mean seriously, theres over 2000 aircraft mods, over 100 terrain mods and over 1400 aircraft skin mods. and looking at teh history from Gen 1 to Gen 2, a Gen 3 would get alot of stuff ported over, and alot of new stuff you want super high fidelity on a few things, Eagle Dynamics is great. if you want wide variety on damn near everything, talk to the fan community for Thirdwire

A very long shot, but if you are using bump and spec maps try removing them .....I've no idea if it would cure the problem or not but at least you've remove another variable.
