    Good news today my girl was released from the hospital to come home. This is one good step and we have many many more to come some may be bad days but I hope we will over come it together. But we are going to take it day by day.

    Those are good textures for a DAT model. The weathering on the wing leading edge is indicative of flying through a sandstorm. Wrench is correct though, that's a DAT related issue we can't, by their demanded proclamation, will not get involved with.

    Well here is a fast model, this is an F-16 if you look closely at the details it is the Viper version, we need to do some loading screens and we are ready!

    Hello everyone! I want to let everyone know that there are modding community for Jane's Figther Anthology and Jane's USAF. You can find us by discord: https://discord.gg/a8rjdVEh I started the project overhauling the texture with upscaling and "super resolution" techniques. Jane's USAF runs smoothly on Windows 10 / 11. I wrote the guide a while ago about how to install and run jane's USAF on Windows 10, which can be used on Windows 11. Here is the link: (OUTDATED, no longer need to install new .exe and reshade, all is included in JUCE now. Here are screenshot, so you can see the difference: Originial Jane's USAF: JUCE version: The texture is based on excellent work of MigBuster airport texture for SF2. His name is included in README file as well. Please note, the texture is upscaled to 8x, then the texture get replaced with new texture, then re-sized back to 2x of the orignial resolution. The reason why I stay with 2x resolution for now is due to the limitation of Jane's USAF engine for now. UPDATE: With help from Tcklbrry, I am able to have texture maximum of 1024 height / width instead of 512. The new version of JUCE (v1.1 onward) will start using higher resolution texture up to 1024 height / width. Thank you for enjoyng the mods Cheers!

    Yes a Newer version of the F3D and EF-10B would be nice. but just some new skins for those of us that do have the A/C maybe something I will look at at some point, no promises though lol

    im sorry but the wing span is a little big for the Viper version, and clearly that model should be using GE not PW engines. although thats an easy fix in the texture side of things

    "Its been 3 years dude" I can understand you frustration about time. I can assure you he is quite bussy with several projects that will bring several aircraft to this game as time allows. All of us working man and woman and do this in spare time. An other thing... "dude" is used for people whom know each other. Unless you are palls, this is out of manners.. Get yourself stright.. Third, if you have read through the "community most wanted" topic, then you would have a close enough answer there too to your question..

    In fact, everyone is right that the simulator is designed to fly airplanes, not helicopters, but vertical takeoff and landing is possible thanks to the existence of the harrier, so maybe the answer is too strict, come on, maybe The guy doesn't expect to simulate Enemy Engage, maybe only you just want to take off and land, which can be done by simply skillfully operating thrust vectoring, you can: up, down, come and go, float...It cannot be rotated correctly or moved from one side to the other.

    This will be the last post in this discussion from me. Before this discussion close and leading to a separate tool that achieve these functions. I would like to clarify the intent - it is to provide limited, and easier way to mod objects after seeing too many authors left their models behind for good or bad, and try to allow more consistent way of modding to make model live longer. Regardless how capable one can be, even Sundowner e.g., we all have limited time and it is impractical for anyone to recreate a model from scratch when there are just a few aspects that need to improve from the existing. Calling a desire to improve as hacking is an overreaction... And the calls for the easier ways, are for the reason that INI edits being inconsistent in approach, error-prone, and sets barrier for new members to do the 3 most frequent tasks below. It is also hard to track every INI to get idea of how the previous contributor mod one way or the other, from authors to successors. 1. move nodes around 2. hide nodes 3. make nodes spin If we want to be a healthy community, we should at least think whether people are just asking things for genuine need and good intent, before going down the avenue of conspiracy. The latter is not a constructive approach and is not likely to get us anywhere. No matter how you consider me well versed in wording what I am telling. Here are the real example of what I experience in LOD of scenario 2,3,4, which correspond to my request 2,3,4 since #1 is already there. Just to show where my requests are from 2. Is it possible to include a function in this Lod Viewer, such that node names can be changed/renamed? There has been a number of older models which were created without care, and model elements are using repetitive names (e.g. 5 different elements all use lazy names such as Object 01) which confuses the engine and limit possibility for modding. Right now change of node name can be achieved using manual process in HEX editors for some models, but it is a difficult job when there are 50-60 items of a few repetitive name and you are trying to tell which one is which. It is also hard to handle in HEX editor as sometimes different model utilises different encoding. It will make life a lot easier. Not necessarily a example for repetitive naming of nodes in one object although that still happen so often. Anyways, without renaming, how are these black block nodes in the model ever going to be called?? 3. is it possible to add a function, such that an x, y, or z axis based, invisible parent with definable base point can be added to a node? We are not technically adding mesh here, but adding flexibility for existing items in the model to rotate on x,y or z axis Example - 1 layer of parenting node is never gonna work for Kashtan. Gun and Missile pitch angle will interfere with each other and gun is shotting at the sky all the time. 4. Is it possible to include a function to delete a node? This is much needed when modding stand in cockpits or variant of aircraft which we need to hide things. Right now people can add new items to an existing aircraft model using the Fake Pilot method, but it is very, very restrictive to remove anything from the existing model of an aircraft, e.g. low polygon/ugly items. Yes I realise this one is a little dangerous, but people need it and many have been doing it using workarounds for years when creating stand in cockpits. Instead of deleting people move elements away, but still it creates problems in different scenarios to cockpits, and like said it is much harder to do it to aircraft models. Example - These models fixed in the deck would have stayed there forever, and we'd never use random generated parked aircraft by SF2NA. if it wasn't Fubar512 did another release that deleted these. Removing node is a capability needed.

    I really don't know how to thank you for your support and kind word and prayer it's really help me specially with some of your experience some of you hand gon through it really made me see things distantly. My youngest girl was under a bad emotional (nervous breakdown and lack of self-confidence) and we were taking care of it for the last year and a half. But in 10 minutes after I was with her and we were getting her paper ready for her first job interview as an accountant ( she graduated with honors) she decided to end her life and at the same time she was scared and wanted some to help her she took 48 Panadol capsule (Paracetamol) and 40 boscaban capsule (Paracetamol). But thank good to of her friends called us and told us what she did and that saved my girl as we rushed her to the hospital and they did there best and more also they had to do a Kidney dialysis because the rate of blood poisoning was enough to kill her 3 times. But thank Allah God they saved my girl. She is in the Psychiatric hospital to try to help her get through this stage for her and for us together as a family. We have a long was but will take it day by day. Thank you all for your support and being here for me
