9 pointsfor all of you who aren't happy the way the PPI is displayed in the game this is what i found and changed on my F-4E radar this is how it looks unchanged , the PPI has a green background with a serrated edge on top and left and right , this edge problem annoys me a lot and i was never happy with that green background either so i start looking in to the Avionics.INI but at first i did not know what to look for until i had a conversation with ludo.m54 and pvince , so i checked the Avionics.INI again and found this entrys , GroundClutter , MapBackgroundLevel and MapHighlightLevel and started to change the entrys that is the original entry GroundClutter=0.6 MapBackgroundLevel=0.2 MapHighlightLevel=0.6 that is the modified one GroundClutter=0.8 MapBackgroundLevel=0.001 MapHighlightLevel=0.8 and that is the result , the PPI looks almost like the real one in a F-4E ,and the serrated edge is no longer a problem , i´m more than happy right now finally i got that problem solved

5 pointsHello, everyone. I thought I would give an update as I have not been around much. It was partly me getting buried in following the Russo-Ukrainian War. However I had a hard drive failure on the drive I had all of my SF2 Mod folders on. I lost just about all of my personal tweaks and adjustments to SF2 that I have made since joining CombatAce. I do have a backup from 2012 and a mishmash of various stuff from scattered time throughout the intervening years but not my fully organized folders I used for play and testing. On top of that I nearly recovered everything I lost and then accidently reformatted over the recovered data when setting up the new hard drive I bought, scroll list jumped under the mouse arrow while I was glancing away. This loss basically knocked the wind out of my sails as it comes to SF2 and hence why I pretty much disappeared. However I have decided it was time to shake the dust off and picked myself back up. If anyone needs help on a project with ground object data files please let me know.

1 pointas noted, i have wraparound taken care of, esp since there doesnt appear to be any 17th TRS in wraparound ignore the towelbar, forgot to remove it in lodviewer and its not present on the RF-4C_75, just the _LORAN. although they did have at least one (69-0350) its a good start, although most recce units appeared to have 23 birds per. will take a look at the airdoc book on USAFE Phantoms after i wrap up Alabama RFs. last read through i was a little more focused on after 1983....

1 pointI have the Yefim books (got them at list or less). It is like having gold bricks on my shelf. But I want these German books translated into English. I have the English translation of the Mi-24 Hind book and it is excellent.

1 pointView File SF2 Super Mystere B.2 (EG) Pack SF2 Super Mystere B.2 (EG) Pack 6/7/2024 -For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested ) -Another 1stGen Salvage Operation- This is a rebuild of EricGen's 1stGen Dassault Super Mystere B.2, as used by the French and Israeli Air forces from the 1950s through the 1970s. This mod is set up and labeled to cause NO conflicts with the Mystere IVA available from within the game (Third Wire) or any mods of the stock bird that may exist. Skins remain in their original bmp format. Most markings are decals, with the exception of the fuselage color bands on some of the NMF skins. Decal Randomization is TRUE. All necessary items are provided, decals, weapons, pilots, sounds, and so forth. Some you've probably got already. If I missed any, PLEASE let me know and I'll get it fixed. The canopy operates with the Standard Animations Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero). The cockpit provided is one of Stary's superb works, and can also be used on the stock 3W version (as for some reason, "out of the box" it's not player flyable). The aircraft is supplied with a number skins for the varying Air Forces: France: EC 1/5 Vendee (1961-1966) EC 1/10 Valois (1958-1974) EC 2/5 Ile de France (1961-66) EC 2/10 Seine (1958-1968) EC 2/12 Cornouailles (<1959) Israel: No.105 Sqdn "The Scorpion" (NMF 1958) No.105 Sqdn (Blue/Brown Camo <62) No.105 Sqdn (3-tone <69) As indicated above, you can see the the SF2 "date switch" is active. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop down you'll see: Super Mystere B2 (EG) So you can't mistake it for anything other than what it is. This will also differentialize THIS one from the 3W Super Mystere that's stock in game. This includes NOT conflicting with the superb skin/ini pack that PauloPanz did some years back (reccomended!!!!). As always fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included; several are actually in their respective skin folders. The 'Change Log' is, of course, in the Notes section below. 1 pointTrying out in the famous 354th. One mission down, took a bunch of hits but brought her home. Mission complete but my terrible dive bombing run continued and I hit nothing. I was plum on the rear of a lone MiG-17 with a clean aircraft and a speed advantage, but as it was over Cat Bi I thought better of it and stayed on the deck with the burner plugged in.

1 pointThanks for all the help. NOT!!! After weeks of searching and digging through files I found it. This is how you fix the problem: Simply go to the \Flight folder in your Mods directory and remove the following two files: HUDDATA.INI MAPENEMYICON.TGA That's it. If you want the bad guys to disappear again, add the above files back to the \Flight folder.
