    ALL work by ME ( Sundowner ) is now no longer covered by the CombatAce Freeware Licensing agreement. What this means is that you can only use my work for your own use, you CANNOT re-upload it or any part of it unless it is part of a full terrain package but you still need to ask me first for permission. OK, what we have here are a collection of static aircraft that I've made up myself either from existing max files that I've been involved in before. Or converted from the old Alphasim freeware stuff. ALL maps and textures are made by myself. All markings are painted on. Read the Read Me. Sundowner

    and more ?? All terrain objects. Vehicles Static Aircraft They are aimed more at the "end user" ie, folks that want to see them in game rather than other modders....

    Upload no.11 The height-map is now upscaled to 4x the tile-map size. The main reason is that the Strike Fighters engine seems to run better with this change, for some reasons I don't know... It gives better frame-rate and has visually better horizon terrain buildup. So the _Data ini settings from the first post do no longer apply. It was not easy to upscale the height-map in a way that retains sharpness in the mountain- and ridge-tops. Had to program a custom upscale in TFDtool, then blend it with some filtered variants. It should be good now. Added some target-area's in the hills and at the DMZ. This is where the terrain looks best. The DMZ is not quite so demilitarized now. There are around 40 .tod terrain objects now. Solely for the full city tiles. Tailor-made to fit these. Then the usual tile-map and tile-texture adjustments.

    a minor update, am working on serials for Vipers right now. go them all collected, just have to actually organize them, sort out teh ones that dont belong (like a bird that crashed in 87 on an '88 skin.....), from there i gotta decide who's first, the - 52nd TFW (B30s and F-4Gs) - PACAF (1980s Block 30s) - 50th, 86th and 401st TFW (A and C models) - ANG A models (and Kansas Charlies) - TAC Block 15s - TAC Block 10s - 366th Wing (F-15Cs, Es, B-1Bs, KC-135R and F-16s all under one roof) oh and the early 52d FW (F-16, F-4G, F-15 and A-10) but first i gotta drag myself through a few hundred serials putting them in order. I swear going through the site, finding the info and pics was more fun thatn this part
