the early F-4D/E did not have any option for the ripple Quantity , even the late F-4D´s do not have any switch in the cockpit for the Ripple quantity but i set them on the F-4D_78 to 1,2,18 cockpits are still BETA and i do have to make some more changes and fix some issues this is the F-4D_78 cockpit , i made a lot of changes on this one , the weapon selector is now working with EOGB and dispensers like CBU-2 (picture on the bottom ) had to make some work around to get it done the SRI indicator ( slanted range indicator ) is only showing the distance to the next way point , unfortunatley no other options in SF2 the LOS indicator ( line of sight for laser targeting pods ) is not working , i try that but i dont get i done the way it should be , so it is just a eye candy for now , maybe in the future i will find a way here is the new F-4D_78cockpit F-4D_78.7z pictures from the cockpit CBU-2 dispenser selected

@ravenclaw_007 in F-4D_67_DATA.ini in the [DetectSystem] section, I found that HasRWR=FALSE must be setting on TRUE. Now it works. I found the same in F-4D_71_DATA.ini so I checked the stock [...]_DATA.ini and it's set on TRUE.

i had a good day today and i got the early version of the F-4D cockpit done , it is still a BETA version but for everybody who likes to test it here it is PLEASE backup your ini files before overwriting it with this new ones PLEASE let me know if you have any problem with FPS drop or any other problems and on what terrain F-4D.7z the following ini files are changed and needed to get the cockpit working F-4D_Data.ini F-4D_Cockpit.ini F-4D_Loadout.ini F-4D_Avionics.ini on the right side panel you will find the DSU-94/A nuke control panel , if you load a nuke and this panel is not working check if the weapon you loaded is listed on the bottom of the Cockpit.ini and if it is not listed just add it to the list , after that the DSU-94/A panel should work if you find any problems or errors please let me know , this is still a BETA have fun , ravenclaw_007

Bit of a treat today! Polovski himself descended from the heavens to hold court and talk about all things WOFF and flight sims and even a bit about old brown dogs! So pull up a stool, grab a pint and have a listen! I think it would be great if they did this more often, I learned a lot!

Weapons manual shows ripple quantities of single, pairs and full ripple: From T.O. 1F-4C-34-1-1 "Weapon Selector Knob The weapon selector knob, placarded WPN SEL, is a rotary type switch with eight positions; only seven positions are used. This switch is used to select the type of munitions and method of release. The switch positions are BOMBS-SINGLE, BOMBS-PAIRS, BOMBS-RIPPLE, RKTS & DISP-SINGLE, RKTS & DISP-PAIRS, GAM-83 (AGM-12), and AGM-45. Note..... ....The only automatic mode of intervalometer operation is BOMBS-RIPPLE. In the automatic mode, the bomb button is depressed and held until the bomb release sequence is complete. The manual mode requires that the bomb button be actuated for each release." Interesting the picture in the manual shows bombs: single, triple and ripple not bombs: single, pairs and ripple like in the text of the manual. This could all be after a modification from the early F-4D/E with no ripple selection like you were talking about?

the F-4D_78 uses Type=TEWS for the RWR and the F-4D_67 uses Type=VECTOR so i looks like as i f you have aproblem with the Type=VECTOR , the entry is the same as the original TW so i dont know what to do

Thanks will check it , but the entrys are more or less the same as the standard ones except for the radar size will see what i can do
  26. 1 point
Okay my question is if some people are not seeing radars (like me and citizen67) it really shouldn't matter what install you have, it should pickup everything regardless of what's installed. I'm sorry there does seem to be something going on if some people are getting radar designations, while some aren't. Might be some people are using stock items (which would probably show), while some people apparently (like me perhaps) are. So maybe it's that the settings are different and that's causing this disconnect with players. That's all I can think of at the moment, but I think I'll wait for the final to see if it was something else.

Many random factors, mission type, area, etc... Germany CE Stock, Potsdam area, F-4D_67, 1970. The signal is on the right and the SAM launch is visible.

@ravenclaw_007 great work mate! I have picked up that the missile selected lights for Falcon stations are not lighting up when the falcon missile is selected but the A/G outer and inner pylon selected and armed lights are instead. Looks like just a numbering issue for the missile selected lights but the link from the falcon stations to the A/G outer and inner pylon lights needs to be removed or the nodes made inactive. Sidewinder and Sparrow lights are all working correctly

Not bad...that's some real dedication. If you like to have some more realistic skins for VA-12, have a look at my Vietnam Scooters. Both of their Vietnam-deployments are already covered. Interesting thing about VA-12 was, that they went back to A-4C from A-4E on there 2nd deployment. It's one of very few of such cases. Have fun with SF2! 1st one from 1966 2nd one from 1970.
