Alternate Tile For Operation Desert Storm Terrain

These are alternate tiles made from satellite images for the DS terrain
included in the latest version of ODS for SF2. They are 1024x1024.
They can be used in other terrains that use the stock desert tiles,
however I did not make all tiles from the stock SF2 desert tile set, only
those used in the DS terrain. For example, I did not create the river
tiles.

This is cockpit for Swedish SAAB A-21A-3, ground attacker variant of J-21.
Created for TSF mod flyers with help from JonathanRL. Thank you mate.
Small disclaimer is required at this point: as this was to be part of the TSF expansion I was asked to be on hold with releasing those and other TSF-relevant cockpits -but as now Expansion is not going too well and YEYEYE made public his great 21 pack few months ago (been away!!! Sorry didn't noticed that!!!) I decided to release these I got green light for.
To install unpack to your A21A-3 folder, overwrite when asked. I recommend backing up any files or cockpits you are going to replace just in case.

El proyecto Finger se desarrollo antes y después de la Guerra de Malvinas, un desarrollo conjunto entre la Fuerza Aérea Argentina y la Israel Air Industries, el proyecto contaba con la modernización de los IAI Dagger argentinos.
Se montaron los nuevos sistemas sobre las células de los Dagger, entre los que se encontraban:
Radar telemétrico Elta/M 2001b ( para tiros de mayor precisión ).
Sistemas electrónicos Ferranti.
HUD Thompson CFS.
Contramedidas 36 chaff y 36 bengalas.
El skin es hecho por mi (consideración por los detalles, es el primero que hago), de tipo low vis.
INSTALACIÓN:
Descomprimir Finger.rar y pegar la carpeta IAI Finger en "strike fighters/ object/ aircraft/".
El Finger viene configurado para portar la bomba guiada DARDO 2.

The Finger project development before and after the Falklands War, a joint development between Argentina Air Force and the Israel Air Industries, the project had modernize IAI Dagger Argentines.
On new systems Dagger cells, among which were mounted:
Elta radar telemetry / M 2001b (for more accurate shots).
Ferranti electronic systems.
HUD Thompson CFS.
36 chaff countermeasures and 36 flares.
The skin is made by me (consideration for details, is the first thing I do), type low vis.
INSTALLATION:
Unzip Finger.rar and paste the IAI Finger folder in "fighters strike / object / aircraft /".
The Finger is configured to carry the DART 2 guided bomb.

The two Esquadrones of Groupo de Entrenamiento 41 at Valenzuela operated the 60 T-33A delivered to jercito del Aire.
They were operational from 1954 to 1986.

Croatian Air Force MiG-21SM/MF

A skin set for Russouk2004's Croatian MiG-21SM/MF òr 5tipe's MiG-21bisD.
Two silver/grey skins for the early starting days of the Croatian Air Force (1991-ish),
and two camo skins for the 1993+ period. Serials are used from Russouk2004's
MiG-21SM/MF, so keep that in mind.
If you want to use it for 5tipe's BisD, rename all skin files from "MF" to "BIS".

Jeanne d'Arc helicopter carrier
This model represents the Jeanne d'Arc helicopter cruiser of the French Navy, in service from 1964 to 2010. The only ship of her class, "La Jeanne" was primarily used as a training ship in peacetime, but could serve as a fully capable helicopter carrier in times of crisis.
Three different versions are included, covering each major refit of her long service life. Exocet missile launchers were added in 1975, while the aft guns were removed and some electronics were replaced in 2000.
The Jeanne d'Arc's large flight deck can handle the simultaneous launch of up to four helicopters. Nighttime deck lights and fake arresting wires are in place for your convenience.
Note: This model's role is designated as an aircraft carrier by default. You may change this by setting WarshipClass=CRUISER or WarshipClass=TRANSPORT depending on your preference.

Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21BisD CroAF

The MiG-21BisD (the D stands for "Doraden" = revised/upgraded) is an upgraded version of the MiG-21Bis that serves in the Croatian air force since 2003. The first upgrade was done by Romanian firm Aerostar where the Fishbeds got their distinctive
olive-green-grey camo and NATO compatible communication, navigation and F.O.F. systems. The second upgrade was done in 2014/2015 in Ukraine by Ukrspetsexport. The 12 (BisD and UMD) airframes were only refurbished and painted a light grey. These MiG-21s will be in active service until 2020 when they are to be replaced by a new 4th generation jet fighter (probably the Next Generation Gripen).

To Install..
1) Download and install Dave's F-22A mod...if you haven't already.
2) Back up your current F-22A folder in "<Your mod folder>\Objects\Aircraft\" folder - Incase you want to go back to your orginal configuration.
3) Uncompress the zip file and copy the uncompressed "Objects" folder into your Saved Game mod folder. Overwite any conficts.
Note: Hangar and Loading screens included....

Cockpit for Yak-28P Firebar interceptor of the Soviet Union, not perfect but "close enough"
To install:
Best would be to backup your existing Yak-28P ini files* and cockpit folder, right?
Extract to your Yak-28P folder, overwrite when asked.
*I DO realise that as far as I checked there seems to be no Firebar upgraded to SF2 standards, BUT the procedure is quite simple and takes 15 minutes tops. You are encouraged to do it yourself. NO SF1 version of this cockpit is planned. Period.
Also, some aspects would require more tweakings but people more in the know of both avionics systems in SF2 and the true airframe radar capabilities, so go ahead if you habve the knowledge.
Freeware license apply, not to be used as part of payware of any sort. Raw max 3D model available for those willing to work on this as basis for other mods/adjustments.
Feel free to include in your own reuploads, retextures, tweaks etc without asking.

Cockpit for Yak-28B Brewer soviet jet bomber. Comes with "Stary's patented bombsight" for quite accurate high altitude level bombing. Bombsight activated with switching to air-to-ground gunsight mode or by simply selecting A2G ordnance.
Suitable for Yak-28, Yak-28B and several other subtypes of Brewer family aside from P/PM and R/RR/PP types (without getting into too much detail).
To install:
Best would be to backup your existing Yak-28B ini files and cockpit folder, right?
Extract to your Yak-28B folder, overwrite when asked. If you want to substitute this for other planes you should know what to do as the procedure is straightforward.
Freeware license apply, not to be used as part of payware of any sort. Raw max 3D model available for those willing to work on this as basis for other mods/adjustments.

National counters for Wings Over Israel - February 2015 Update
This mod provides you with a batch of colorful, reduced-size counters, devoted to each of the nationalities present in Wings Over Israel. Besides having a more attractive map and less confused stacks, you can also find more easily the units you're after. As a rule, the counters with rectangular national flags and brigade/division devices show the ground units, while the counters with roundels concern the air units.
-- February 2015 changes: lots of variant counters for each era of the Israeli-Arab Wars --
Egypt and Syria (Iraq and Libya to a lesser extent) have changed quite often their flags and roundels during the period covered by Wings Over Israel (1948-82 with add-ons for SF2:Israel). So I chose to include several variants, which allowed me as well to insert some minor changes, just for aesthetic purpose (Syrian division-sized units by the ’70s only, Arab camo skins by the ’70s only, Arab camo suits for ground units by the ’80s...). Thus, the screenshots here depict the overture for the campaigns of Six-Day War 1967 and Lebanon War 1982, with clear differences regarding the Syrian counters.

Medals Pack, Israeli-Arab Wars - February 2015 update
The State of Israel provides very few medals even to his bravest soldiers. Three in all are actually attributed, which are all included as stock in SF1:Wings over Israel or SF2:Israel. Additionally, they are scarcely awarded, and almost never seen on the chests even of the best aces of the Israeli Air Force. The few ribbons that could be seen there were mostly awarded for participation in a given campaign, not for exceptional feats, honorable wounds, or exemplary long service.
This mod makes these campaign ribbons available; they will allow you to keep a track of the campaigns during which your pilot has flown even just a handful of missions. Moreover, I have included as well the badges for command citations that could be granted for special feats. A devoted panel of decorations has been created for each of the following selected periods when Israel was fighting an open war or undeclared hostilities. You shall just have to upload the correct panel before beginning a campaign. Citations have been arranged to restitute the fact that no medals actually existed before 1973.

Sinai Campaign 1956
Interwar 1956-67
Six-Day War 1967
Interwar 1967-73
Yom Kippur War 1973
Interwar 1973-82 (also works for 21st Century what-if campaigns)

New panel added for the War of Independence (campaign existing for SF2:Israel)
New lowest level of citation added in all panels (brigade commander citation), inducing some changes in the awards' criteria and precedence; citations rewritten accordingly
Modified AwardScreen for SF2:Israel
Changes in the February 2015 update:
French translation now included for all of the awards' names and citations. If you chose an installation of the game in French, just overwrite the relevant folders with those enclosed in the "French" folder.

KNOWN ISSUE: the refueling markings on top are shown via tga. that tga projects a weird grey line on the left side of the fuselage only. there is not a fix
at this time. how ever it is most noticeable on the white over grey and even then only at very close range. it is less noticeable on the camoflaged schemes. this will be fixed when possible, my apologies for any inconvienence. I felt that how it appears at normal viewing range vs time to fix, it was ready to release.

AH-1 Cobra Sounds.

New sounds for guns that comes with AH-1G/Q Cobra pack.
Included are gundata.ini files for guns. I have reduced tracer for 40mm grenades. Looks better in my opinion.
Just copy and paste files and folders.
Do some backup in case you don't like new sounds.
Also included new engine sound for Cobra. I like it more than previous.
Don't forget to edit soundlist.ini (should be in 'Flight' folder)
Change xxx to correct number on the list.
Chcek EffectClassNames and GunFireEffects in guns data ini if it match with your SF2 installed effects. This may need adjustment for your preference,
Done.

This mod includes custom "NATO" themed menu screens, pilots and music (AC5, thanks to tonipm99). This mod will over write the MainScreen INI delivered in the NF5 package with the stock INI file. I did this so I can go back to using JPEG images rather than the BITMAP menus that came with the original NF5 packages.
Unzip the package and preview the new screens before installing them. I recommend doing this as there are MANY alternate screens I have in there that you might like better. If you choose to install this package, I recommend that you back up your FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders in the SF2 Mod folder you're installing this package into. Just in case you want to go back to your original setup.
* To install, simply unzip and copy the uncompressed FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders to your StrikeFighter2 mod folder.
My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97 64-bit was..(yours may be different)...
