    1. OA-4M UpdatePack for SF2

*** SF2+SF2I+V required for the KfirC1_77-Cockpit and optional A-4F_74-Cockpit, that is used here together with bits from the A-7E-Cockpit. Tested in full 5-merged installation ***

This pack contains an update to the previously released OA-4M-Pack by Wrench. All skins and decals are newly done for this pack.

Included are the following "new" planes and Skins:

      * OA-4M Skyhawk (2-Tone Gray Camo) - Initial Camo with large insignias and white modex.
      - H&MS-12, MCAS Iwakuni '81-'83
      - H&MS-13, MCAS Yuma, '79-'83
      - H&MS-32, MCAS Cherry Point, '79-'83

      * OA-4M Skyhawk (GhostGray Camo) - 2nd Camo-Scheme, differently arranged with small insignias and lowvis modex.
      - H&MS-11, MCAS El Toro, '88-'90
      - H&MS-12, MCAS Iwakuni 1986 (Yosemite Sam on Tail)
      - H&MS-12, MCAS Iwakuni 1989 (Yosemite Sam on Tail, Samurai on Aft Fuselage)
      - H&MS-13, MCAS Yuma, '83-'88
      - H&MS-32, MCAS Cherry Point, '83-'90

      * OA-4M Skyhawk (Overall Gray Camo) - There were probably just 2 planes with that camo 154306/DA01 and an unknown 2nd one. Gray overall with black markings.
      - MAG-32, MCAS Cherry Point, '89-'90

      * OA-4M Skyhawk (Blue/Green Camo) - Experimental Camo on 154306/DA01. Dark green / dark blue with white bottom and black markings.
      - H&MS-32, MCAS Cherry Point, 1983

      * OA-4M Skyhawk (Green/Gray Camo) - Experimental Camo on 154628/DA04. Green / gray with gray bottom and inverse markings.
      - H&MS-32, MCAS Cherry Point, 1985

Planespecific skins for the droptanks are provided (stock A-4 tanks), aswell as a new skin for the stock Mk.20 Rockeye II CBU.

      Optional:
As there's no dedicated OA-4M-Cockpit available, the Pack contains 2 options here:

      * KfirC1_77 cockpit by default, from dtmdragons A-4M-pack as stand-in. It "feels" better than the big and roomy A-7-Cockpit from the original OA-4M-pack. I also made refinements over
dtmdragons version to bring it more towards a modern Skyhawk-Cockpit. Landing Gear-, Arrestor Hook Lever and Rudder pedals are working now, I rearranged and reskinned the weaponspanel,
to get rid of the hebrew stencils and Kfirs additional weaponsstations and I removed some instruments, that are useless here (Nozzle- and Shockcone Position).

      * A-4F_74 cockpit, which is slightly modified by me. It now has a HUD and the Radarscreen is used for the ARBS. Although it was not actually installed in real planes, it is added for playability.
Also the HUD is rather small, but works.

Included are Hangar- and Loadingscreens in 1920x1080 by default and 1024x768 as option. Just open the planes ini-files and you see what you have to change.

There's a readme included. Feel free to read it! :)

      Installation
      ============
      1. unzip to a temporary folder
      2. open "Put_Content_In_Your_Mod folder" and do as you were told, if asked to overwrite, say 'yes' :P
      3. enjoy!

    2. SF2 AD-4B Skyraider, KAW Era

      SF2 AD-4B Skyraider, KAW Era 4/15/2015

      = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Preferred) =

*Note: =MUST= have SF2:V as part of your merged install to access the A-1H lod used herein. This, like the other
KAW Skyraiders with the "_3W suffix, is based off the stock A-1H lod.*

The mod represents AD-4B Skyraiders during the Korean War. It should be noted, the -4B was equipped for "special weapons delivery", and was the primary type the USN had for this at the time. Of course, it carries all the conventional munitions as well, so standard mission tasking remains. 2 special loadouts are available through the 3W mission editor (see "Notes" for more details).

      The skin herein represents:

VA-195 "Dambusters" aboard USS Princeton (CVA-37) circa 1952

The aircraft is finished is standard 1950s Dark Gloss Navy Blue. The skin is in jpg format. All markings are decals, excepting the green squadron color on the tail fin. Decal randomization is TRUE.
The BuNums, while correct for this model, are not specific to any squadron, and should be considerd 'generic' in nature.
Wingfold and canopy are controled via the Standard Animiation Keystrokes ™. Shift/9 for the wings, and Shift/0 for the window.
Most weapons are suppllied, including the low-yeild (8 kt) "special". The nuke effects are from the Gunny Pak, and I HOPE I've got all the pieces/parts in place; if not, you'll have to locate them yourselves from the Gunny Pak (or just intall the Effects from there). The other weapons used can be found in the KAW weapons pack.

On the Aircraft selection drop down, you'll see

      AD-4B Skyraider (3W)

To differentiate it from the other -4s. The "3W" indicates use of the stock 3W lod.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....In fact, read them before installing, but after unzipping of course! This mostly pertains the effects used for the 'special weapon'.

    3. SF2 AD-4N (Late) Skyraider, 1950s USN

      SF2 AD-4N (Late) Skyraider, 1950s USN 4/12/2015

= For SF2 (Any & All, Full- Merged Prefered) =

*Note: must have SF2:V as part of your merged install to access the A-1H lod used herein. This, like several of the KAW Skyraiders with the "_3W suffix, is based off the stock A-1H lod.*

Something slightly different, for USN Skyraider squadrons in the mid-1950s. I basiclly did this as I got tired of seeing DGNB AD-4Ns parking on deck intermixed with Grey/White jets and such (even though that IS historically correct). But, some early models DID survive the switch, and operated in the Gull Grey/White. This is one of them...

      The skin herein represents:

VA-216 "Black Diamonds" aboard USS Yorktown (CVA-10) circa 1956/57

The skin is in jpg format. All markings, excepting the tail Black Diamonds, are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE.The BuNums, while correct for this model, are not specific to any squadron, and should be considerd 'generic' in nature.
Wingfold and canopy are controled via the Standard Animiation Keystrokes ™. Shift/9 for the wings, and Shift/0 for the window.
All weapons used are stock in-game items, excepting the APS-31 radar pod and ALT-7 ECM pod.
I'm trying out a different "style" for the Hangar screen; I hope you like it.

On the Aircraft selection drop down, you'll see

      AD-4N Skyraider (Late) (3W)

This will differentiate it from the -4NL and other -4 marks. The "3W" indicates use of the stock 3W lod.

    4. F-5F and F-5FM Brazilian Air Force

The Northrop F-5A/B Freedom Fighter and the F-5E/F Tiger II are part of a family of supersonic Light fighter, initially designed in the late 1950s by Northrop Corporation. Being smaller and simpler than contemporaries such as the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II, the F-5 cost less to both procure and operate, making it a popular export aircraft. The F-5 started life as a privately funded light fighter program by Northrop in the 1950s. The design team wrapped a small, highly aerodynamic fighter around two compact and high-thrust General Electric J85 engines, focusing on performance and low cost of maintenance. Though primarily designed for the day air superiority role, the aircraft is also a capable ground-attack platform. The F-5A entered service in the early 1960s. During the Cold War, over 800 were produced through 1972 for U.S. allies. Though the USAF had no acknowledged need for a light fighter, it did procure roughly 1,200 Northrop T-38 Talon trainer aircraft, which were directly based on the F-5A.

After winning the International Fighter Aircraft competition in 1970, a program aimed at providing effective low-cost fighters to American allies, Northrop introduced the second-generation F-5E Tiger II in 1972. This upgrade included more powerful engines, higher fuel capacity, greater wing area and improved leading edge extensions for a better turn rate, optional air-to-air refueling, and improved avionics including air-to-air radar. Primarily used by American allies, it was also used in US training exercises. A total of 1,400 Tiger IIs were built before production ended in 1987. More than 3,800 F-5 and T-38 aircraft were produced in Hawthorne, California.

The F-5 was also developed into a dedicated reconnaissance version, the RF-5 Tigereye. The F-5 also served as a starting point for a series of design studies which resulted in the Northrop YF-17 and the F/A-18 navalized fighter aircraft. The Northrop F-20 Tigershark was an advanced variant to succeed the F-5E which was ultimately canceled when export customers did not emerge. The F-5N/F variants are in service with the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps as an adversary trainer. Approximately 500 aircraft are still in service as of 2014.

In October 1974, the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) ordered 36 F-5E and 6 F-5B aircraft from Northrop for $72 million. The first three aircraft arrived on 12 March 1975. In 1988, FAB acquired 22 F-5E and four F-5EF second-hand USAF "agressor" fighters. A total of 15 of these aircraft were part of the initial batch of 30 aircraft produced by Northrop. In 1990, FAB retired all remaining five F-5Bs; later, they were sent to Brazilian museums around the country.

In 2001, Elbit Systems and Embraer started work on a $230 million Brazilian F-5 modernization program, performed over an eight-year period, upgrading 46 F-5E/F aircraft, re-designated as F-5EM and F-5FM. The modernization centered on several areas: new electronic warfare systems, the Grifo F radar, an air-to-air refueling system, INS/GPS-based navigation, support for new weapons, targeting and self-defense systems, HOTAS, LCD displays, helmet-mounted displays (HMDs), Radar Warning Receiver, encrypted communications, cockpit compatibility for night vision goggles, On-Board Oxygen Generation System (OBOGS) and various new onboard computer upgrades. One important capability is the secure communication with R-99 airborne early warning platforms and ground stations.

Externally, the new aircraft features a larger nose cone that accommodates the larger radar equipment. The first F-5EM was handed over on 21 September 2005. On 7 July 2003, four Rafael Litening III targeting pods were ordered at a cost of USD 13 million, to be used on F-5M together with three Rafael Sky Shield jamming pods ordered in 5 July 2006 at a cost of USD 42 million.

In 2009, FAB bought eight single-seat and three twin-seat F-5F used aircraft from Jordan in a US$21 million deal. These aircraft were built between 1975 and 1980. On 14 April 2011, a contract of $153 million was signed with Embraer and Elbit to modernize the additional F-5s bought from Jordan, and to supply one more flight simulator as a continuation of the contract signed in 2000. These F-5s will receive the same configuration as those from the initial 46 F-5s currently completing the upgrade process. The first delivery of this second batch of upgraded jet fighters is scheduled for 2013 with expected use to 2030.

    7. SF2 KAW AD-4NL Skyraider (3W)

      SF2 Korean War Era AD-4NL Skyraider (3W) Ver 4.0 12/28/2014

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**Full 5 URGED, due to use of some SF2NA coding! As this mod references the stock 3rd Wire Skyraider, you =MUST= have SF2:V as part of your merged install. If you don't, this mod will not work.**

This is a 'new' version of the AD-4NL Skyraider, built from the 3W A-1H. It is designed to replace completly any & all earlier versions built from MontyCZ's Skyraider.
It's your choice (the End User) if you wish to keep or delete the early version.

This mod represents AD-4NL's from VC-35 "Night Hecklers". The squadron was deployed in various "Dets" of 2-4 aircraft aboard almost all USN Carriers during the Korean Conflict. This is designed for a stand-alone KAW mods folder, but can be used in any Full-5 merged install. However, several SF2NA only statements are included, and may only fully work in that environment.

The aircraft is fully carrier-capable; after all, it's built from a Stock 3W carrier bird!
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE.
All the necessary weapons, effects, sounds and etc are included, as is the NEW Skyraider cockpit by Dels. Those with the MCZ version will note they are all the same, but included for ease of installation.
Standard Animations keystrokes are used for the canopy (Shift/0) and wingfold (shift/9). However, due to some "malfunction", don't fold the wings with ordenance loaded. They won't follow it!

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, PLEASE read them!!!!
Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. There is important information on Night Operations (what VC-35 specalized in).

      F-5 Tigre Brazilian Air Force

      The Tiger in Brazil

In Brazil, the history of the F-5 started in practice in March 1975, however, he was quoted to equip the FAB since 1965, in its version F-5A / B. In 1967, he was again contemplated, this time as a design vector SISDACTA. The preference was for the F-4 Phantom, but this was vetoed by the Americans, who in turn offered the F-5C (version proposed by Northrop with improvements based on the evaluation report made in Vietnam).
The impasse U.S. favored the French, having acquired the FAB 16 Dassault Mirage III. A new international contest held in 1971 to replace the AT-33A, attended the Fiat G-91, MB-326K, Harrier Mk-50, Jaguar GR1 and A-4F, won by Northrop fighter now in his version F-5E. Began a long and successful history of the Tiger II in FAB, which still continues today and is expected to last until 2018. The FAB received six F-5B (FAB 4800-4805), 4 F-5F (FAB 4806-4809) and 58 F-5E (FAB 4820-4877) that were acquired in two separate batches. The first batch in 1973, factory direct (06 F + 36 F-5B-5D), the value of $ 115 million and the second batch in 1988, former USAF (04 F-22 F-5F and 5E), the total cost of $ 13.1 million. The first aircraft of "Operation Tiger", became known as the transfer of the first batch were delivered from February 28, 1975 in Palmdale. Were three F-5B, which arrived in Brazil on 06 March of the same year, followed by another three F-5B on 13 May. On June 12, 1975, came the first 4 F-5E to BAGL, starting an airlift that ended on February 12 of the following year, totaling 36 aircraft.
In 1985, after much searching, we reached an agreement with the Reagan administration, which agreed to negotiate 4 F-5F and 22 F-5E, which would come from the ranks of the USAF, at a cost of $ 13.1 million, a trifle. Around September 2006, it was speculated acquisition of 9 aircraft F-5E Tiger II, used in Saudi Arabia, 6 F-5E and F-5F 3. This purchase, however, went no further, come to the Brazilian Air Force to acquire a lot of aircraft of the Royal Jordanian Air Force. In total 11 aircraft were purchased, and 8 single-seat F-5E and F-5F 3 seaters. The first aircraft coming from Jordan arrived in Brazil on August 19, 2008 and were sent to the Air Force Material Park of São Paulo (PAMA-SP). All the F-5 ex-Jordan should be converted to the standard F-and F-5FM 5EM.

    10. F-5E Early Versions Pack

      F-5E For Strike Fighters 2

      "Early versions pack"

      Version History:
v.1.0: First public release. Early versions without later refinements like RWR.

      DESCRIPTION:

This addon can thank its release to the work of two talented individuals, FastCargo and BPao. FastCargo created the F-5F two seaters and BPao was the man behind the original Mirage Factory F-5E model. I was fortunate enough to get permission to work on these source models, with the goals of marrying the F-5E front section to the F-5F engine and wings which were quite a lot more detailed. It was supposed to be a quick project.

      One year later:
I have completely reworked the F-5E nose, added a lot of stuff on the original fuselage and detailed both original templates to have higher detail textures. Meanwhile Sophocles graciously allowed me to use his superb F-5A cockpit as a basis to build my F-5E cockpit, in which I have also used parts based on FastCargos unfinished T-38 cockpit.

Included is two versions of the earlier production F-5E: a basic version dubbed '72 and an export specific version with a larger vertical stabilizator and spine antenna. This version is dubbed '74L (L for large vertical stablizator).

      Happy flying!

      Mats "Centurion" Liljeroos

      FEATURES:
      SF2 standard external model
      2048^2 textures with normal maps
Realistic cockpit with avionics courtesy of Crusader
FM from original MirageFactory F-5E which flies really good.

      OPERATORS COVERED IN THIS PACK:
      USAF Agressor
      USN Agressor
      Brazil
      Honduras
      Chile
      Marocco
      IRIAF

      North Vietnam (captured from VNAF)
      Ethiopia
      Kenya
      Indonesia
      Tunisia

      CREDITS:
Bpao and Mirage Factory crew: Orginal F-5E model and templates
      FastCargo for original F-5F model
EricJ and pappychecksix for original F-5F templates and textures
Sophocles for his superb cockpit work. Every switch is a work of art.
Crusader for his ini file magic, really makes the cockpit and plane come alive.
Paulo for his mammoth decaling work which he allowed me to use. and even helped me by reworking some of it.
Me for cobbling all this together (=texturing and modeling work)
The rest of the Combat Ace community. Without you guys I would never have bothered to make it this far.

      INSTALATTION:
Extract into mod folder of choice.

This by and large replaces the old F-5E by TMF, so you can go ahead and delete the F-5E aircraft folder if you have it installed.

      NOTE:
The _74L version references the _72 versions cockpit folder, so if you aim to use the 74L standalone in some installation, copy the cockpit folder and F-5E_72_cockpit.ini file from the _72 folder to the _74L folder. Overwrite.

      Stay tuned for more Tigers!

A dozen serial numbers and represented units tied to those numbers

Wrench for more tech support and updating the original some
Muesli for testing the semi final product

    15. SF2 PB-1W AEW "Navy Fortress" Pak

      SF2 PB-1W AEW "Navy Fortress" Pak 9/29/2014

-- Something for the Early Cold War players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**Note: Having any SF2 series game is HIGHLY reccomended, as this mod references the stock destroyed An-12. This mod will absolutely -NOT- work in any 1stGen Games at ANY patch level. This aircraft uses several SF2NA ONLY mission statments and avionics coding, and should only be used in a Full-5 or NA environment.**

*Note x2: this aircraft mod is designed to replace any and all eariler variants. If you have the old 1stGen one, you are advised to completely delete that mod; aircraft, declas and all.*

This is a release of Veltro2K's PB-1W Navy Flying Fortress Airborne Early Warning and Patrol aircraft. This package =ONLY= represents Forts used by the US Navy in the post-war timeframe (including the Korean War), until replaced by the WV-2 Constellation in 1955.

There is 1 skins/decal set(s) in this pack:

VW-1 circa 1947-1955, as based at NAS Barbers Point, Territory of Hawaii

The Skin is in jpg format. The serials ARE historically accurate (100%) for the aircraft and unit, as all PB-1s served with VW-1 at one time or another.
All markings are decals. All lighting is historically correct. Damage textures are in DDS format.
Engine sounds, pilot figures, Hangar and Loading screens are included. Operational service dates are rounded to 'whole years'.
      When in game you'll see:

      PB-1W Navy Fortress (v2k)

on the aircraft selection drop down. This will differentiate this one from any others that you may (or may not) have

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other important notations.

      Happy Landings!!

*Note: this has been placed in the "Cold War Aircraft" section, even though the original airframes were of WW2 vintage. The aircraft was only use DURING the start of the Cold War*

    16. A-4L Skyhawk by Crab_02 & Column5

      A-4L Skyhawk, VC-13 "Fighting Saints" Skin/Decal Pak
      = For SF2 (Full-4 Merged Prefered) and/or SF2:V =

*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-4C_65, which is stock in all merged installs, excepting a stand-alone SF2:I. However, it does use the A-4E_67 Cockpit and Avionics ini, which is only availabe in SF2:V. Hence, the 'Full-4 Merged' tag is applicable*

Complete overhaul of the A-4L Skyhawk as originally released in 2004 by Crab02 and Column5. For historical purposes, their original readme is included.
This mod makes use of all stock, "in-game" items, excepting for the avionics hump.

All inis have been updated to the latest patch level (August, 2011); the loadout ini has some minor changes for a couple of mission profiles. The data ini has had the landing light added, and (of course!) the canopy activated, via manual animation. Use shift/0 to open and close it.
All 'standard' Skyhawk mission profiles are retained.
The avionics hump has been converted to a 'pilot seat' using the fake pilot method (the FakePilot is also supplied, just in case). The mid fuselage upper light position has been adjusted to match that on the hump.
A new SF2 style hangar screen jpg is also included
Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE", so be at least at whichever patch level gave this to us.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

      Happy Landings!

      IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you have the DLC A-4L from Third Wire, do NOT download this mod. It will cause major conflicts. They should not be mixed in any way!!!
If you do NOT have the 3W DLC A-4L, this is safe for your use.

This is an updated skinpack to reflect all USAF users of the SLUF after the bicentennial.
Every unit tactical unit is included, as well as the 4450th TG that was a cover for the
F-117A's at Tonopah. Most every scheme by every unit is in here; BUT for some units that had
different tail stripes for different flights rather than squadrons(i.e Puerto Rico), i picked one color and
      went with that.

      INSTALLATION
open the main folder, copy and paste into the mod folder of your choice and allow overwrites

      INCLUDED
-4 diferent A-7D aircraft with one of the different paint schemes as a universal skin. changes
were limited to making 4 aircraft from 2, and adjusting the data.ini for the new droptanks

-3 sets of droptanks to work with the different A-7D models
      - comprhensive decal set including 95 D model serials, 28 K model serials, and markings for

    19. SF2 Lockheed RT-33A Shooting Star Pak by ErikGen

SF2 Lockheed RT-33A Shooting Star Pak by ErikGen 3/25/2014

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

This package contains a new aircraft for SF2. Originally part of the KAW F-80/T-33A/RF-80 pak, it somehow slipped under the radar (which Recon birds are supposed to do!!).

*Note: as this aircraft were built with the latest 3W exporter, it will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen Installs at any patch level.*

Like the other Shooting Stars, this is a complete pak with everything needed.
      The skins included are:

      USAF (Generic style markings)
Natural Metal (uses stock 3W decals; generic for everyone else)

Skins and damage textures are in DDS format. Decal randomization is TRUE.
The USAF skin uses painted on national marking, the "Natural Metal" does not; all marking will be decals. Generic "plane-in-group" decals reference stock 3W numbers.
Serial numbers are 100% historically correct for T-33s, but should be considered generic in nature, as they represent no particular unit or aircraft within a particular unit.
The "Generic NM" skin will be a good, blank canvas for other users to be created. All decal positions are pre-plotted on the included decals ini. Some adjustments may be necessary for specific country users, but that's a simple matter of creating a new, country specific skin and replotting the decal locations.
It's also know to me that Soulfreak has some other skins in the works; when released, these will be great additions for your flying pleasure!
Drop tanks are 'built in' to the aircraft lod; weapons folders for the drop tanks are included, as are the pilot figures and seat. As this is a recon bird, it's limited to ONLY RECON, and carries no weapons or guns of any kind.
The canopy is controlled via the Standard Animations Keystroke ™, Shift/0.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. There are "Operational Notations" with other impertinant data you should know.

    20. SF2 AD-4W/AEW.1 "Guppy"

      SF2 AD-4W/AEW.1 "Guppy" 4/1/2014

      = For SF2, Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED! =

**Note: Actually, SF2NA is actually -REQUIRED- in merged installs, due to NA coding used for
this aircraft's operational statements. It is also HIGHLY SUGGESTED!! that this be
=ONLY= used in the NA envrionment (read: in SF2:NA only). It was tested only in the
NA environment, but there are a few issues (see Notes below).***

A rebuild of MontyCZ's A-1H Skyraider give us the AD-4W "Guppy" Naval Airborne Early
      Warning aircraft of the 1950s.

Included are 4 skins, representing the aircrft from 1950 through 1960. They are:

      USN:
      VC-11

      USMC:
      VMC-1

      British Royal Navy (AEW.1)
No 849 Naval Air Squadron; in 'normal' garb
No 849 NAS, HMS Albion, during the Suez Crisis (with Suez 'Invasion Stripes')

The USN/USMC skins use a painted on fueselage national marking (not enough meshes
for all decals); All other markings are decals. All aircraft are in 'standard' Dark
Gloss Navy Blue. For the RN skins, ALL markings are decals. Serial numbers are 100%
historically accurate for the model depicted, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. As
there is no possible way to run down the US serials, they should be considered
      'generic' in nature.
However, you may experience some 'unusual' shuffling' of the CV and Flight letter
codes on the Royal Navy (non Suez) skin. Further explinations for this are in the
'Notes' Section. The Suez skin depicts 849's "C" flight as embarked during Operation
      Musketeer, and are 100% correct.

Skins remain in lo-rez bmp format, but new DDS damage textures are supplied (just in
case). Each skins has it's own hangar screen.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included.
So, please read them. As mentioned above, give the "Notes" section a read too.

*At minimum, SF2:V is required, as this mod references the stock 3W A-1H lods.*

**Note: It is also =REQUIRED= you be at the lates (7/2013) SF2 patch level. The data ini supplied is FROM this last patch level. Those End Users NOT up to speed, may experience visual oddities on the aircraft, as some things have been changed over the last few patchs. No support is, or will be availalbe, to those End Users.**

This mod represents Skyraiders as used by the AdA in the early 1960s, and will give you a new, nationalized aircraft.
The aircrft represented here is from:

      EC 3/20 "Oranie"

as seen in Algeria in the early 1960s.

All skins are in jpg format. All markings, excepting the squadron color bands, are decals. Recal randomization is TRUE. The aircraft BuNums are 100% correct for those Skyraiders in French service, but should be considered "generic" in nature as they do not represent any individual aircraft in any particular squadron.
The canopy opens with the Standard Animatin Keystroke, Shift/0.

      Gameplay notes:
      - Cockpits are stand-ins however all the HUD displays, radar displays, RWR displays are correct.

      - To give the A-4N Ahit Pave Penny/ LGB the ability to use Laser Guided Bombs in the CAS role I created a ghost LP weapon station that can be loaded with a 'Shaldag FAC Laser Designation Team' which is the real life IAF special forces team that designated targets for the A-4N. If you don’t like the way it works just delete it from the weapons folder and stick to dumb bombs for everything except strike missions.

    24. F-5E and F-5EM Tigre Brazilian Air Force (Pack)

F-5 Tigre Brazilian Air Force (Pack)

      O Tigre no Brasil

    25. Third Wire A-4E/H/F Ahit upgrade/ Enhancement for SF2

This is an upgrade and major enhancement for the stock Third Wire A-4E, H, & F Ahits (Skyhawks). The standard TW Ahits have a few issues with their historical accuracy. This mod corrects those issues and even adds a few more aircraft to the Ahit family.

Instillation: As usual simply drop into your mods folder and allow it to override when prompted. (This is important as there are changes to some of the aircraft.ini files etc)

Strike Fighters 2 Israel plus either Strike Fighters 2 or Strike Fighters 2 Vietnam are required.

      Changes include:

      - The A-4H Ahit was not delivered with a downgraded engine. It had the same J52-P8A engine as the F model Skyhawk. Israel latter upgraded the engines of the H and F Ahits to the P-408A as used in the A-4M and N Skyhawks.

      - The 30mm cannons fitted to the A-4H Ahit were fitted at a 2.5 degree downward angle due to the emphasis the IAF placed on strafing after the Six Day war. However in reality it was less than ideal as there was no change to the A-4 gun sight so aiming proved quite difficult until the introduction of the HUD in the Crystal upgrade.

      - A-4E Ahit was delivered with the avionics hump of the F model Skyhawk. The hump was installed in US Navy service in anticipation of receiving ECM equipment but these aircraft were delivered to Israel instead. Because it was empty the hump was initially removed in Israeli service.

      - The A-4E Ahit was also refitted with 30mm cannons. However due to the problems encountered with the angle of instillation in the H model Ahit they were installed at a 1.5 degree downward angle in the E models.

      - US Emergency Aid Skyhawks: During the Yom Kippur war A-4E as well as A-4F Skyhawks were sent to Israel as replacements for IAF A-4 losses during the war. These A-4E Skyhawks had the same standard of avionics as the F models.

      - Additional early textures added to the A-4H Ahits with the Star Of David on the rear fuselage and two digit aircraft numbers.

      - Additional texture added with the US 'Stars and Bars' and US Navy numbers which the A-4H wore during test flights in the USA.

      - Textures modified so there are no squadron colors on the rudder before 1976.

      - Textures modified so aircraft numbers are not on both the nose and vertical stabilizer at the same time before 1976. Before then the aircraft number was on either the nose or the vertical stabilizer- not both. Where it was largely depended on which squadron operated the aircraft.

      - The hump and corresponding avionics upgrade that appear on the A-4H Ahit (73) and A-4E Ahit (73) were known as the Crystal upgrade. This upgrade was designed to bring the Ahit fleet up to the standard of the A-4N Skyhawk/Ahit so this upgrade also included a basic heads up display with computerized weapons aiming. This upgrade would also be applied to the US Emergency Aid A-4E and F Ahits after end of the Yom Kippur war.

      - The triangular antenna behind the normal UHF/VHF antenna on the hump of the A-4H/E Ahits (73) as well as one of the nose antennas did not appear on the aircraft till the mid 80's

      - Loadouts: the stock Ahit loadouts are not unrealistic but they certainly aren't the most realistic. As such they have all been redone to include things such as the use of the Walleye in the anti-amour role by particular aircraft etc.

      - Opening canopy.

      - Landing light.

      - Cockpit armor changed to the same as the A-4F which the A-4H is meant to based on.

      - Yom Kippur and Lebanon War campaigns edited to include additional aircraft and weapons where appropriate.

The Ahits will now appear in the game as follows:

A-4E Ahit - Delivery of ex US Navy Skyhawks in 1971 fitted with an empty hump, no ECM and no chaff dispenser.

A-4E Ahit (72) - The empty hump is removed in Israeli service, the aircraft are also re-fitted with 30mm cannons at a 1.5 degree downward angle.

A-4E Ahit (73) US Emergency Aid - US Navy A-4E Skyhawks with avionics hump and standard USN avionics rushed to Israel during the Yom Kippur War to replace Ahit losses.

A-4E Ahit (73) Crystal Upgrade - A-4E Ahits upgraded under project Crystal with ECM, RHAW, countermeasure dispensers, updated weapons delivery system, updated navigation system and a HUD. An extended tailpipe is also fitted.

A-4F Ahit US Emergency Aid - US Navy A-4F Skyhawks with standard USN avionics rushed to Israel during the Yom Kippur War to replace Ahit losses.

A-4F Ahit (74) Crystal Upgrade - US Emergency Aid A-4F Ahits are upgraded to the same standard as the project Crystal A-4H Ahits with a HUD, updated weapons delivery system, updated navigation system, 30mm cannons, extended tailpipe and P-408A engine.

A-4H Ahit - Specific model Skyhawk for Israel based on the A-4F with deliveries starting in 1968. The A-4H had a downgraded weapons and avionics capability.

      A-4H Ahit (70) - Aircraft are re-fitted with 30mm cannons at a 2.5 degree downward angle.

A-4H Ahit (72) - Israel begins replacing the J52-P8A engine with the more powerful J52-P-408A and restoring/ expanding the aircrafts weapon capabilities.

A-4H Ahit (73) Crystal Upgrade - A-4H Ahits are upgrade under project Crystal with ECM, RHAW, countermeasure dispensers, updated weapons delivery system, updated navigation system and a HUD. An extended tailpipe is also fitted.

A-4H Ahit (84) Crystal Upgrade - Additional external antenna on the avionics hump and nose of the aircraft are installed.
