Today I uploaded a new plane - the Russian Lebed 7. The Lebed 7 was a Russian copy of the Sopwith Tabloid. It was intended to be used as a fighter, but was quickly outclassed and was used mostly for recon and later for training. I have made a fictitious version (or perhaps a field mod) with a Lewis gun mounted on the upper wing. My thanks to Ojcar, once again for making the FM. By my count, this is the 60th plane that Ojcar and I have made over the years.

View File Lebed 7 The Lebed 7 was a Russian copy of the British Sopwith Tabloid. It was produced in 1915 and was intended to be used as a fighter. But with an 80hp Gnome engine and wing warping controls, it was quickly outclassed and was used primarily for recon and later for training. The Lebed 7 was shipped from the factory unarmed. The British plane had a machine gun mounted on the upper wing, so it isn't unreasonable to think that a Russian pilot might have tried mounting a gun on his plane. I have made a (possibly fictitious) version of the plane with a Lewis gun mounted on the top wing. My Lebed 7 has a fully functional cockpit, three skins - a grey paint and two clear doped linen, and a full set of number decals. My skinning templates are included. The plane comes with a helmeted Russian pilot; instructions for installing the pilot are included. Or you can change the data.ini to use one of the stock FE pilots. Many years ago Nixou recorded a a large number of sounds for First Eagles. I have included the sound file for the 80 hp Gnome Monosoupape engine, but you may already have it. Credits Thanks to Ojcar for making the data file for the Lebed 7. Thanks to Nixou for making the sound file for the Gnome 80 hp engine. Installation Instructions For FE1 - Unzip the file. Move the folder named "Lebed7" into your FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. For FE2 - Unzip the file. Move the folder named "Lebed7" into your FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. Then in the FirstEagles/Objects/Decals folder, create a new folder named "Lebed7". Move the folder named "D" from your Aircraft/Lebed7 folder into the Decals/Lebed7 folder you just made. In case you don't already have it, I have included the sound file for the 80 hp Gnome engine. Move the file named "gnome80m4.wav" from my Sounds folder into your Sounds folder. You may not need to install the pilot with helmet, it has been available for download for some time and has been included with other planes. In case you don't already have it, I have included the pilot and instructions for installing it in a separate folder included in this download. View File SF2NA A-6E TRAM "Libyan Intruders" SF2NA A-6E (TRAM) Intruder, VA-34,VA-55,VA-85 Early Lo-Viz Skin/Decals Pack 2/15/2018 = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) = *Can be used in any install that has access to the A-6E_79 (aka: TRAM)* 3 new skins for the 3W A-6E_79 Intruder that depict the 3 squadrons that participated in the "Freedom of Navigation" exercises in the Gulf of Sidra during 1986, and subsequent strikes against various Libyan targets (El Dorado Canyon). All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All serial (BuAerNums) are correct as they are for the A-6E, but should be considered Generic (tm) in nature, not representing specific aircraft in any particular squadron. In fact, all 3 skins use them as a 'pool' of decals. The Default Start Date switch is used on this skin, so in 1983, you should see only these. The skin maps are new; The aircraft is finished in the 2-tone Compass Ghost Grey over Medium Grey scheme, with subdued markings (black and light grey). The skins are in jpg format. The aircraft are: VA-34 Blue Blasters, USS AMERICA VA-55 Warhorses, USS CORAL SEA VA-85 Black Falcons, USS SARATOGA As these are 'stock' squadrons in the 3rd Wire listing, Level=1 decals are used to activate the squadron name display. This should make it easy for campaign builders to use them in user-made campaigns or single missions (like on Menrva's new Libyan terrain). Please note, =NOTHING= is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts (I use the Razbam payware pit on my A-6E & A-6E TRAMs). You should have made them flyable or need to seek the "parts" on your own. Also, if you have made it flyable, and use the "Read Only" trick on the main ini (A-6E_79.ini), you'll have to un-read only it to add this skin. While specificly designed for the A-6E_79, this mod =should= be compatible with the A-6 Intruder MegaPack by Homefries; the skins use unique squadron named folders and should not conflict or interfere with it (even though said squadrons also exist in his pack, as Level=1 statments, selectable from the Squadron Dropdown on the Loadout screen). Please note the "1983" start date is an arbitrary year, based on my research as a "best guess". On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see: VA-34 Blue Blasters (2-Tone 1983) VA-55 Warhorses (2-Tone 1983) VA-85 Black Falcons (2-Tone 1983) As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein Submitter Wrench Submitted 03/06/2018 Category A-6

Hi gents! Hope you are all doing well. Seemed fitting to post this over on the board that started it all. I randomly stumbled across this upload from Pol and happened to notice the date: June 13, 2008. Here is where we were a decade ago, with a preview of OFF: Between Heaven and Hell. My how far we've come. How has it been ten years already? Take a look for yourselves and enjoy the nostalgia!

This pack contains new data ini for Wolf257's ETO used Mustang Family. It includes both RAF and USAAF versions. I've included his P-51D-30, simply for historical reason. If anyone feels the need, I'll be happy to upload the ENTIRE set of Wolf's Pony; they are and should be still available in the SF/Wo* WW2 Aircraft/Allied Fighters downloads section Aircraft are: Allison Powered -- Mustang I Mustang IA ** (**please note, while equipped with 4 20mm cannon, there are NO barrels extending from the wings. If a 3d guy wants to build them, I'll attach them via fake pilot) Merlin Powered: P-51B/C (standard canopy) P-51B/C (Malcom Hood) Mustang III (Malcom Hood) P-51D-30 (bubble top) AvHistory Allison and Merlin sounds are included. FM for the B/C/D are based off the 3W P-51D from the Expansion Pack. While not perfect, they are better than they were. eto_ww2_wolf_mustangs.7z

This is for 2 of Wolf257's P-38 Lightnings, again for ETO usage P-38H P-38J a reminder, these are exceedingly OLD models (dated 2004); they have a number of flaws, like no moving surfaces, mapping issues and various other things. But, until if and when (also not likely) we get new Lightning variants, these are what we have. Finally added are the long missing outer wing fuel tanks. eto_ww2_wolf_lightnings.7z

This pack is for the RAF heavy bombers Halifax B2 Halifax B3 Lancaster Mk.1 Stirling Mk.1 Hudson Mk.1 please note, I've given the Lanc an "ASV" style radar, but I"m not positive the mk.1 had it, as there's no ASV scanner on the lower fuselage. to remove it, you'll have to remove the radar statements from the avionics ini (which has the Crusader bomb sight mod -- so don't remove that section!!). As I got dumb and forgot to create a backup copy. You may wish to backup the original avionics ini, if you're so inclined. I've also included my Lanc "Box Art" hangar and loading screens; didn't remember if the original upload had these. The Hudson could use some new skins, as I'm not sure the colors are correct. When I get around to the PTO RAAF version, I plan on redoing the skin, and making proper, historical serial numbers. But for now... <gr> ww2_v2k_raf_heavies_tweeks.7z

View File SF2 F-15C OANG Add-On for the SF2 F-15 Eagle Super Pack Redux 2018 Pack - The Mudhen Team SF2 F-15C Oregon Air National Guard Add-On for the SF2 F-15 Eagle Super Pack Redux 2018 Pack - The Mudhen Team Please note that this pack is not compatible with the Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack...You can make it work with some tweaking, but this pack was designed as an "Add-On" for the "SF2 F-15 Eagle Super Pack Redux 2018" Pack. Please do not install it and expect this pack to work with the Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack because they are both F-15 packs... You can install this pack "As-Is" (but not over Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack, see above), but you need the "SF2 F-15 Eagle Super Pack Redux 2018" pack to fully enjoy this pack. If you use it as a stand-alone, some weapons, effects or other things may\will be missing. You will have a flyable plane, but miss out on some bells and whistles. I recommend the full pack below. You can get the "SF2 F-15 Eagle Super Pack Redux 2018" pack here... ------------------------------------------------------------- What is in this pack: ------------------------------------------------------------- 1) 4096x Skins in JPG format and decals for the 114th Oregon Air National Guard - as requested by JosefK! Enjoy! 2) Repainted Cockpits by Viper63a and RWR list by Spudknocker. 3) Updated Data and Loadout files from Spudknocker and Fanatic Modder. 4) 1920x1080 Hangar.jpg, Loading.jpg and Loadout.tga files. 5) Excellent new weapons and ejection seats from Ravenclaw_007! 6) Excellent Florian Pilot upgrades by JAT81500! ** Included Jets: F-15C From the 114th FS, 173rd Wing Oregon Air National Guard. Please note that the plane serial# are generic and randomized. ** Extras package contains: PSD Template and pix I used to make the plane. ------------------------------------------------------------- Installation: ------------------------------------------------------------- ** This is an "Add-On" for the "SF2 F-15 Eagle Super Pack Redux 2018" Pack. I have not tested this pack as a stand-alone. It should fly and work, but you may be missing some weapons in your load-out, effects or other things. I recommend that you install the "SF2 F-15 Eagle Super Pack Redux 2018" Pack first. At least the "Effects" and "Weapons" folders from the pack. >> WARNING! I have not tested this pack with Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack...Pretty sure there will be problems, so I do not recommend installing this pack over the Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack. If you want to test it out, rename the "F-15C_02" folder in your...Objects\Aircraft mod folder...if it exists. You can then install this pack. You may be missing some weapons or effects, but you should be able to test fly the plane. After you're done, you can rename the folders back or reconcile the folders to get this pack to work with Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack. !! First and always - BACKUP! If you have "F-15C_02" folder in your Mod folders...Objects\Aircraft and Decals folders...Make a copy or back it up before installing. ** To install, Copy the contents of the uncompressed "To_Mod_Folder" folder into your Saved Game mod folder. Overwrite any conflicts. ------------------------------------------------------------- Add F15 SoundList ------------------------------------------------------------- ** Lastly, this is optional but highly recommended. Read the "Add F15 SoundList.txt" readme file on adding the F-15 sound files included in this pack to your "Flight\SoundList.ini" file. ------------------------------------------------------------- Thats it - Enjoy! This set is for MontyCZ's Avia S-99 (Bf-109G), and the 3 WW2 variants we have been using it for.. Bf-109F4 Bf-109G6-AS Bf-109G10 I do not remember if there have been any FM improvements. You'll have to test fly for yourselves (If there are other made from Monty's S-99.lod, please PM me with a link, and I'll give them a go.) These data ini adjustments can also be used on the Czech (real) S-99 as well. I have the S-199 'Mule' for CzAF and Israeli use done, too. Just not sure where to upload them ww2_eto_mcz_109_series.7z

I can definitely say that on the Dux-built Nieuport-17, the machine gun was shifted to the right. As for the coloring, the second photo shows how much they looked more gray next to the French-built apparatus (fourth and fifth aircraft) .

Enjoying the technical posts gents': from what I could find, Alkan-Hamy, and then later Birkigt gears on occasion, were used on license-built aircraft in Russia too (as with DUX manufactured types). Experiments were done as early as 1915 by Dibovsky, also Lavrov, with interrupter gears - but apart from the Sikorsky S-16, I don't know if these early experiments were in use...Dibovsky, with Scarff, later developed the interrupter gear used on several Sopwith Strutters and some early Sopwith Pups (see pic. below). Scarff is best know for the Scarff ring moveable gun-mount for observers. Happy flying, Von S
