11 pointsHallo Guys, we are ready with a bunch of planes, but we would like to release them wit ha proper pit and not with a place holder. The pits are already in development by a very talented guy, known as "Logan" here at CA, the guy behind the upcoming Mirage 4K, im in contact with him. The progress is steady. Here we have the newest member of the Fitter family, reworked the details for the early version, Tailsection was rearranged too. The skin is done by my good friend Enoc

6 pointsI'd like to present some early effects of my fork, let me know what you think. So far, I've only redone the top side of the fuselage. Before: and after:

5 pointsGerman Panzer IV is up! Same story as the Sherman; it is from the same royalty free payware source. MG-34 by me. I re-uploaded both HEMTT models also. The color of the cab/base textures was adjusted to better match the trailers.

3 pointsThank you, Stephen. A very nice airplane turned out. These airplanes were built quite a lot (250 planes were ordered, how many are completed - it is for certain unknown, presumably under two hundred) and they enjoyed a good reputation among pilots. But by the spring of 1917, when mass deliveries began (the earliest - in February 1917 in Jasta 7), the aircraft, of course, is already out of date. Although they were absolutely accurate in combat units, most were sent to flight schools. Four variants of color can be seen on the photo. But first you need to know whether this is an early or late airplane? If with a spinner (which also had two kinds) - then green-brown.

SF2 VF-51 F-4B & F-4N Phantom (Mytai) Skin/Decal Pak 7/14/2018 = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) and/or SF2:V + DLC 23 = *Can be used in any install that has access to the F-4B_67 which is stock in all merged installs. You =MUST= also have DLC #23, the 3rd Wire F-4N Phantom. This package contains 3 revamped & updated skins, now for SF2, originally created by Mytai01 in 2005(ish) for SF1. These skin represent VF-51 "Screaming Eagles" deployed to Southeast Asia during Vietnam War cruises. This skins are: F-4B_67: VF-51 (1971) embarked aboard USS CORAL SEA (NL code) VF-51 (1973) -same as above F-4N (DLC #23): VF-51 (1974) -same as above The differences are various paint schemes, and include both CAG and line birds. All 3 skins are new builds, from Sundowner's template. The skins are in jpg format. All decals from the original Mytai pack have been reused. The dates listed are for the deployment years. The SF2 "date switch" is =NOT= used on these skins. When on the load out screen, on the skin selection widow, you'll see: F-4B_67: VF-51 Screaming Eagles 71 (Mytai) VF-51 Screaming Eagles 73 (Mytai) F-4N: VF-51 Screaming Eagles 74 (Mytai) As VF-51 is a stock, listed squadron, this will help diferentiate these from 'generic' 3W skins. It also honors Mytai for his work in creating them so long ago. Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE". Included are "newish" data inis for both aircraft. The data inis now incorporate manually operating (meaning: you, the player can now) wingfold and canopy operation. Both use the Standard Animations Keystrokes (tm), Shift/9 for wings and Shift/0 (zero) for the canopy. Also included, within each skin folder, are all of Mytai's original research material that came with the 1stGen Package. This inlcudes photos and other text files. As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Remember!! You must have DLC #23 to gain access to the F-4N!! Happy Landings! 1 pointUpdating the first post of this topic: finished and released, as shown in image below: http://www.gb-homepage.nl (Go to link above, then click on the Strike Fighters page) Original post below this line. ------------------------------------------------- My try at a 3D object: HEMTT / Oskosh / M977. In US service from 1982. This is one with a bigger bed, no crane. The shape is low-poly on purpose, but the dimensions are pretty accurate. The texturing has hardly started. Will use one texture for the base+cabin+wheels, one for the bed. I did not shape it with 3dsmax, but used engineering CAD software, then imported it. It went remarkably well, just that the scale was way off. Some things I am uncertain about; Are these names in the list proper mesh names, will I be able to explode the vehicle with detaching wheels and such? And can the windows be made translucent?

1 pointI'd say strap on in ! The series is not designed for the pure flight sim experience , but for the " get home from work ,switch on the pc and go fly / kill things" experience it is hard to beat. As for cost, look at all the wonderful free stuff on this amazing sight freely donated by amazingly talented modders, where else are you going to get so much varied additions for free ?

1 pointDon't get me wrong. I'm only working on the skin with more accurate details. I'm not working on the 3D model update because I don't have the files and I am not a 3D guy in any way so don't expect to have a totally new version of this plane unless someone else decides to make it. The F-35 is available here on CA, you can have fun with it and even load it with SDBs.

1 pointAnother download is available. This is an M4A3E8 Sherman obviously. It was made from a Payware Royalty Free 3D model. It was a nice model with a polycount suitable for this game, but there were lots of things that could use some adjustment. Capun''s site has some other conversions from the same source, which is probably what triggered my project here. The stock Israel game has the M-50 and M-51 upgunned sherman variants, but the game was still lacking an unmodified 76mm sherman of similar quality. This should be it. Earlier I was thinking of adding one or two 75mm shermans as well, but in a post WW2 scenario these may not fit in. The weakest Red tank being the T-34-85 with a much better gun...

The 1968 VF-92 & 96 skins are particularly designed for use in SF2:V, as they represent the squadrons during one of their Southeast Asia cruises* This package contains 3 revamped & updated skins, now for SF2, originally created by Mytai01 in 2005(ish) for SF1. This skins are: F-4B: VF-96 Fighting Falcons (1964) embarked aboard USS RANGER F-4B_67: VF-92 Silverkings (1968) VF-96 Fighting Falcons (1968), both embarked aboard USS ENTERPRISE during the Vietnam War All 3 skins are new builds, from Sundowner's excellent template. The skins are in jpg format. Almost all decals from the original Mytai pack have been reused, with some modifications on the Modex number decals. Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE". Included are the data and loadout inis for both aircraft, with some small changes in the loadouts. The data inis now incorporate manually operating (meaning: you, the player can now) wingfold and canopy operation. Both use the Standard Animations Keystrokes (tm), Shift/9 for wings and Shift/0 (zero) for the canopy. Also included, is all of Mytai's original research material that came with the 1stGen Package.
