D folders usually all go into the "Decals" folder, but also worth double-checking is the decals.ini file located within the relevant skin or textures folder that resides within the aircraft folder itself - this usually gives clues or points in the right direction of where proper folder locations should be for the "D" folder. For example, below is an entry found in one of my skins folders inside the late Albatros D.II aircraft folder: FilenameFormat=AlbatrosD1/D/AlbD1Numbers/AD1Numbers This indicates that I should have a folder inside my "Decals" folder called AlbatrosD1, and then inside that folder, as you can see from the hierarchy, you have a nested D folder, a numbers folder, and numbers themselves. I sometimes share the same aircraft decals folder among several aircraft, as noticeable in my example above where the late Alb. D.II calls up the Alb. D.I decals folder. If you are flying lots of FE aircraft in FE2, you will have to tinker with some of those folder paths in your Decals.ini file, to make the decals show up. I've included some decals.ini files with a few aircraft, in my FM update pack, for aircraft that were very pesky to sort out for proper decal positioning, size of decals, etc. (such as the Siemens-Schuckert D.III by A-Team...took me a while to sort that decals.ini file - a lot of the names in many of the decals files don't point to obvious things). Many of the older FE aircraft don't even have folders that should be dropped into the Decals folder, only a local skin/texture folder that sits within the aircraft folder itself, so that can save a lot of time and hassle. Happy flying, Von S

I made the trench smaller. To get 90° walls will be nearly impossible I tried it to make the trench deeper. It looked so:

Those magnificent men in their flying machines. A head for heights was obviously de rigeur. (Note my smart-arse showing off with an apt Frenchism-quite the intellectual, moi).

617 Sqn, circa October 1990 McDonnell Douglas F-15E(UK) models in 617 Sqn colours. Known as the Strike Eagle FGR.3 in UK service, 617 Sqn is deployed to RAF Canopic near Dihmar for desert pre-deployment training prior to being sent to Operation Granby by the end of the year. However, they are called on by Dhimar to repulse a Parani incursion while conducting their work-up.

There's a big pitch up tendency issue, as Jeanba said. It's between 150 and 180 knots. Slower, it's ok, faster it's ok. I think it's an XacMachtableData (wings/outerwings/horizontal stabs) + Cl0 / Cla Machtabledata issue. To be honest, I really look forward your overhaul because that particular point is an issue I don't know to fix a simple way. It always takes days to find some significant improvement. Part of this problem is the Cl0/Cla Machtabledatas I used in this file (I changed them without further checking, the terrible "copy/paste"), so don't take it as a reliable point lol The XacMachtableData values for the horizontal stabs seem out of the 3D model shape also. And I deleted the fake component "Tail", maybe you would like to keep it ^^ Thanks for the gunsight and the new entries for the cockpit ! But if you change the Offset values without changing the Position values (Position=0.0,1.7,0.90) the cockpit is not at the same place. Checking by using OpenCockpit=TRUE (in the cockpit) and ShowFromCockpit=TRUE (in the Data.ini / nose part) will reveal the pilot is now a bit in the fuselage. Just my 2 centimes... rivetcounting

On the subject of location, this is where I live. I put up with idiots for 20 years so I could retire 400 miles away from the closest big city (Denver).
