4 pointsI have finished building the Sopwith Triplane. The parts are all unwrapped, the templates are made, and I've started painting the skins. There will be a British and a French skin. I was able to remove some detail from the engine and machine gun so I could add the air pump on the strut. I figured out how to get the FM to make the prop start and stop with the engine. The file size is bigger than I would like, but still acceptable. The cockpit is built, but I still have a lot of work to do on the skins.

2 pointsLol I should but it'll be shorter, more like "one week" given how relatively easy it is.

2 pointsI would like to place more cityblocks to the City of London, but i fear, that more than the approx.2.500, which i have already placed, could harm the fps rate to much. The cityblocks cover an area between Towerbridge in the east to Kensigton Palace in the west. From Victoria Station in the south and Kingscross Station in the north of London.

1 pointACMI Pod, a centerline fuel tank and a blue AIM-9 I would guess. Maybe a simulated AIM-120 under one cheek & maybe, possibly an IR pod under the other to simulate the Flanker's IR eye...

1 pointYou're welcome! It's kinda good getting back into skinning.

1 pointthere's a LOT of stock 3W aircraft with 'flat tires' too (the Phantoms come to mind). They all seem to work fine. As someone that's also done the LG editing, and really fouled things up, sometimes its just not worth it!! seems to fall into the 'better left un-messed with' category!! :)

1 pointlooks ok ...Ive found nice way to give the rivets that sunken in view.....copy layer set them to a mid grey(for better spec(or white even for height surrounding rivets to do same)) and add small amount of blur, medium sharp,to make shadows as small as possible giving the sunken look... basic render no bump or spec.. Left Rivets...basic 1 pixel with layer below of same rivets, and low average blur to add shaded sunken look... mid rivets with same but with reversed colour blurred 1 pixel... right rivets 1 pixel black...layer below is same rivets with average blur as per left side with reverse colour(white)...with additional blur to give more shaded look..whn appled to spec...right looks like rivets are sunken slightly and with shadow...
