2 pointsNo worries, it's just that topic titles don't need to be in caps, that's the equivalent of shouting. You were not impolite in your following questions, so all is cool. As for the question, yes, you may get missions before January 17th. Nothing we can do about this, especially since we allow missions from August 1990 by design. You can only specify a start date and end date, nothing in between for each single month. If you don't like the date of a created mission, just go back to the single mission screen and let the game create a new one. If you want a more realistic and historically accurate experience, you should play the campaign mode instead. I'm talking about ODS 30AE, the old mod was very inaccurate in pretty much everything, campaign data included. Even if ODS 30AE surpasses the old mod in quality, we are in no position to remove the old one, it would be just wrong and not respectful to the amount of effort put in past years by other modders. There should be no confusion about which is the most recent, since you can see when each was uploaded at their respective download page.

2 pointsI will add the pantsir s1 GM-569 to the list as I am going to make the 9K330 Tor as the two-unit and have the same chassis and I have the pantsir s1 ready.

1 point2nd Lt Pixie Turkington Smythe. 13 Nov 1917. Pixie couldn't believe it... his claim from the last mission was rejected. Apparently the ack ack artillery chaps had said that they had got that albatros, and it seemed the C.O. believed them! As he sat in the cockpit and glared at Mc Irish and Mc Scotch before start up, he pondered why their claims never seemed to be disputed... it's just not fair! Couple that with the lousy weather his mood darkened. Once his engine was running and warming up he was positive that this time he would show them... he'd go all out to bag another hun. Once they had taken off and formed up and started to gain height, he forgot about his foul mood and concentrated on his flying. He hoped that the other two chaps, Wrigley and Sgt Graham on the other side of his aeroplane would come through todays patrol along with the rest of B Flight. Suddenly, the flight broke up and climbed hard... he couldn't work it out, we still had a good way to go to the lines. Then to his horror, half a dozen Pfalz scouts were diving on A Flight above, and then to add to the unfolding event, one of A Flight had collided with someone in B Flight! Soon Pixie had other thing to worry about. Two of the huns had singled him out and for several minutes he was fighting for his life. Eventually, he managed to get on the tail of one of the hun machines, and they fought like cat and dog above Camblain-l'Abbe aerodrome for all to see. The German pilot eventually had to land just north of the drome, as Pixie had damaged his engine... He had done it again. Surely he would get a 'confirmed' this time? Pixie looked around, he was alone... one minute, mayhem all around, the next, nothing... but wait, what's that? A hun machine was making for the lines. He might just catch him before he crosses... Pixie gave chase. Slowly, very slowly he was gaining. As he drew near they crossed friendly lines. Now was his chance! Pixie opened fire and the German reacted immediately. The dance began again from the middle of 'no mans land' and towards the German lines. The German was damaged as Pixie's fire found its mark. Suddenly, his enemy lost control and went into a steep dive and didn't stop until he smashed into the ground, right next to the German trenches... Pixie had scored again! With this fight over, 2nd Lt Turkington Smythe headed back over the lines and returned to a friendly drome. He felt elated and exhausted. Would he be vindicated now... would his two victories actually count this time?

1 pointGreat video, catch! The continuously cutting into the Pfalz gave me flashbacks: I think I also have three rejected on easy claims, so we definitely have the same C/O! You are making me nervous, though, with those spinning dives; that's how I lost my wing in the other SE5a challenge!

1 point19th Nov. 1917 4th Sortie. "Spiv" Taylor gets two more claims rejected by the C.O. This is becoming intolerable for young Spiv. Perhaps, he should concoct a plan with "Chuffs" to curry the C.O.'s favour, who seems to have taken a dislike to Spiv's arrogant colonial attitude. Most unbecoming of the RFC what! Survival is one thing but having three claims rejected to date begs of a conspiracy! What the heck! Bloody poms.

1 pointHi I have fully re-worked and updated my mission file set, fully compatible with BH&HII, and this is now available from the Downloads section here : There is also a separate set of Defence missions (the solo missions that kick in when a unit is 'working up' or non-operational) that have been changed slightly to give them a national flavour to fit in with the main mission set. Also available from the Downloads section as Bletchley's Defence Mission Types. When you add these to WOFF and use the '3rd Party Mission Types' switch in Workshop they will expand upon the stock set of campaign missions (especially so for the Recon. / bombing units) and add historical detail and instructions to the briefings. The primary log entries will be added in the language of the unit. Have fun, and let me know if you have any problems. B.

1 pointThe reason for the drums in the cockpit was because you were flying an "aircow" mission. You were suppose to fly close alongside friendlies armed with Lewis guns and pitch drums over to the observer. Apparently you failed this task.

1 pointok. then maybe share your trick so that we can get a new modder started down the path. dont just shush him over his question because the new one is better. true. but i havent played it much period since january, am busy with RL and setting up installs on my new computer (cherry picking from huge installs into many more but era/region focused installs). i had forgotten about that and also didnt do much menu related work. plus most of what i did was on my main SF2 install, then transferred at the end to you and my 30AE install. i just fired up first time in a month, and oh yeah, it does that. its one thing to see the feature in action though, another to know whats going on behind the scenes. decalling is the simplest thing to me, yet we have at least 1 question a month on how they work. i try not to get mad at them anymore, but point out where they can learn if basic knowledge, and answer if something not so basic. The work done on 30AE is amazing and has many things that advance the game, between guruu's helicopter work (and fastest carrier made iirc) to your menu work and much much more. it doesnt just enhance the 30AE mod itself but has potential the entirety of the community.
-
1 pointNo, I can confirm he has not downloaded ODS 30AE, so he's definitely talking about older ODS mods which are not my work. If he was using the latest ODS 30AE package, he wouldn't ask a question about a (seemingly non existent) feature which is already included by default and works as intended. Please, let's not add further confusion to other readers and imply that ODS 30AE has issues it does not have. JamesWilson is talking about the old ODS mod package by eburger69, which is totally unrelated to ODS 30AE. If he can only select years (like in stock SF2) and not specific months, then that is not ODS 30AE. @daddyairplanes No offense, but you've been in the development team of ODS 30AE, so it surprises me that you don't even know about its features.

1 pointHi everyone, a new update for WOFF to V1.13 is now available. Version 1.13 3 June 2021 1) Fixed a possible error at mission runtime that would sometimes occur for Aces with File Specified AC and Skin. Ensured that the associated Ace skin would be allocated if possible, or if no more aircraft instances available then the generic AC and skin is allocated. 2) Improved Aircraft instance selections for skin allocations to maximise the number of skins per craft type flying in game. 3) BE2c early version - Removed Lewis drums from Observer’s cockpit. Fixed some other small issues. Please see our Website for details.

1 pointsure they are. more realistic (and scaled down opfor) versions of the range terrains. but this time with NYC! theres training ranges and military operating areas all over the country. ok, not as much in the northeasten part, but in the midwestern part and Carolinas there sure are (eyeballing your map there) hell, i just watch 4 Strike Eagles from Seymour Johnson go over my house today. them and Ospreys out of New River are fairly regular visitors. it would be nice fly out of those bases (and more!) in game.

1 pointsomewhere around here i have an American North East map. had is since the early 2000s , but can't remember where it is. If you think about it, such maps (included the Texas/Mexico American South west, CenUS, ANW) really aren't worth a damn outside of "The Wingman" or "Red Dawn" type scenarios * . AKA: Occupied America. Unfortunately, we don't have H-Bomb crater tiles (although they might be easily made) (* guess we can add "Man in the High Castle" to that as well)

1 pointAnd now "Spiv" embarks on his 3rd sortie. 16th Nov 1917. (I've gotta move things along a bit or Rick'll get the whip out ) No vid just pics this time. So finally 2nd Lt Squizzy Taylor gets a kill but his claim is rejected. No matter, he has survived 3 missions.

1 pointReed's second mission (sorry I was off a day) - made up for it on the third mission. A sour day but managed another victory and was awarded the Military Cross. Reed's third mission - managed another victory and a second landing my chief was happy with.

1 pointI suppose I shouldn't be, but I'm still astonished at the amount of people that believe that earthmen are the only life in the universe; intelligent or otherwise.
