Sorry I had to shift to my other PC as my workstation was out of order so I had to install everything from scratch. I just installed the 3d max and the photoshop but I need to complete a very long list of Softwares.

Mirage F-1CZ (82). This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. South Africa began looking for a replacement for the Mirage III in 1971 and purchased a licence to manufacture the Mirage F1 and its engine, the intention being to produce up to 100 Mirage F1s. This license was however cancelled because of the 1977 arms embargo. The SAAF then bought 16 Mirage F1CZs and 32 Mirage F1AZs which were quickly delivered by Dassault before the embargo was implemented, with deliveries starting in 1975. Both the F1CZ and F1AZ variants of the SAAF saw action during operations in the Border War. This version include new RWR and chaffs and flares dispensers. Covered unit : N°3 Squadron Annual Air Combat Manoeuvring 1986 A big thank to all on Combatace and C6 forums that helped us solving issues we encountered. Any omission in credits is totally unwanted, if I forgot somebody, let me know, I will correct this. This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware. Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms. Enjoy The Mirage F-1 Team.

Yes, I understood you were looking for TAW's map. Once I had started to work on it, but then I scrapped it; it's impossible to reproduce such a big area with all of TAW's cities and airbases in a reasonable time. Not to mention that Strike Fighters is not designed to handle full scale terrains but rather 60% scaled ones. We'd be lucky if I ever manage to finish the one I showed above. It seems to me that many underestimate the amount of complexity, work and time required to create a decent custom terrain for Strike Fighters. In order to recreate rivers and lakes, you have to place thousands of thousands of terrain tiles manually with a third-party tool, and that's not exactly something anyone would do in a heartbeat. And that's just one of the many parts of terrain creation. I could mention months of research for reproducing correct locations of cities and airbases, all needing to be placed and recreated manually one by one. A well detailed, full scale TAW terrain complete with all Real World rivers and lakes and cities is simply not manageable and it's not going to happen.

no worries, latest post looks great this holiday season, it might be wise to get a new 1 or 2 TB external HD. then save at least the installation files for everything you use regularly in a folder. its what i did to switch from my laptop from the last 5 years to my new desktop. was back up and running in a day for most of the stuff. now rebuilding my mod folders, by actually focusing them on specifc regions, eras and aircraft types........ well the test install is going. the rest might take a couple of years ....

We usually manage to intercept at least half of a flight - if the other fellows get too close to the lines we (I and my AI flight) often don't follow them across the lines. Depends also on wind speed and direction, and how fast the enemy's machines are, and what their starting alt. is. I also usually assign my pilots a veteran role, and at least at the Ltn. level - when signing them up. Rookies and novices have to follow the leader always - the AI leader is another can of worms entirely because they may evaluate differently at times and not pursue an enemy flight, etc. Lots of variables at work. Also, if you are in a crate with a poor(er) climb rate, the enemy flight may be too far away to pursue by the time you climb high enough. Cheers all, Von S

Maybe so. Right after we finish building 1000s of miles of the Ho Chi Minh trail and accurate surrounding elevation. And then finish up 100s of miles of the Vietnamese rail lines. Then we will work on the major road networks.
