4 pointsSo it looks in game: This airbase is from Baltic Entrance terrain. At this airfield i placed two stock airfield3 and a covering SLB2400 at the same place on the map. With this trick you can let an airfield "grow" during the years. It start with a simple airfield3, then some years later comes the covering SLB2400 and then some years later the second airfield3. You may also put two airfield3 files one after the other, so that it appears as would it be one single long runway with two dispersal areas. This has the asvantage, that both airfields can be destroyed and air operations can run from both airfields without hinder each other. Here a screenshot of 4 airfield3s connected to one big airbase. Done in my Korea MiG-Alley terrain.

2 pointsNope, not possible. On campaigns you can control that to a good extent, but for single missions it's just Blue Side and Red Side. Simply put, each usable runway needs a specific target area and runway data file. If you want to achieve something like you say, you still need to create two separate airport target areas, but for one of the two it may be needed to specify an invisible runway 3d model, since the proper airport 3d model would be added by the other target area.

2 pointsDear Pilots! In today’s DD we have three new things to show you. First, we have some screenshots of our Normandy Map which is coming together nicely. It’s looking very scenic! Second, we have developed the technology to launch a V-1 “Buzz Bomb” from fixed installations. They will make great targets for mission designers. And finally, we have been working on the technology necessary to portray amphibious landings which is necessary for Normandy. Normandy Landscape Below are screens from the new map. As you can see there are some rather large cities and towns as well as a variety of different airfield types. The landscape is also very beautiful. Together it will make a very interesting and fun map to fly over. V-1 Installations The dreaded V-1 is operational in our project for the first time. V-1 sites were prized targets by Allied pilots and needed to be silenced. The V-1s raining down on the UK in the summer of 1944 were a real problem and caused so much destruction and casualties. Attacking these sites will make for some excellent missions. Amphibious Landings And finally, we can’t have an invasion without landing craft bringing troops and vehicles to the beaches. In the images below we see some testing on one of our non-Normandy maps. We have found a clever way to make infantry objects that appear pretty convincing. These soldiers can advance and shoot at the enemy and of course they can perish. Just don’t ask these little pixel soldiers to make you a sandwich or tea, they aren’t that smart. Enjoy! 1 pointHello everyone, I updated the thread title to SFCE. The reason why the name is Strike Fighter Community Expansion is that this mod uses various mods made by authors from CombatAce. This mod is not only for my Saad - Zafir project. It is also for the community to use freely too! What you will see in SFCE: However, SFCE, in another hand, does NOT add any new add-on plane to SF2. The reason of this: With SFCE, anyone can use it as base to add any mods to it, build their own mod pack on top of it, or import big mod packs and upgrade it to work with SFCE. BUGS / ISSUES: 1) I am still puzzled by these bugs. When using F-4s and turning the navigation light on, as you start rolling down the runway, the light won't cover the whole runway. There are sections that blackout the light area. If any of you know how to solve it, please let me know. If any of you know or suggest additional mods I am not aware of that improves TW aircraft, please let me know too. 2) There is one issue in Egyptian Mirage 5SDE's loadout.ini. BFT is not working in loadout.ini, BUT you still will be able to have 4 of bombs loaded instead of having total 8 bombs with BFT automatically. At least BFT still works well and you can manually load them in loadout. 1 pointAs Menrva already said, it is not possible to connect a specific airfield to a nation. To your second question. It is possible with a trick. You create two target areas as airfields. You place them at the same position on the map, so that one runway is placed exactly over the other. The problem is, that only the upper runway can be destroyed, the lower runway is invulnerable, which can cause frustration if your mission task is to destroy this runway.

1 pointWell, on a careful look, editing the z value on the shader as you've shown makes this issue apparent especially on the top border of the camera. Without the altitude tweak, clouds on the top border of the camera/screen no longer disappear abruptly, so this is an issue of the altitude hack. I've been experimenting and looking for a solution, but nothing positive so far. Multiplication values cause no issues, in fact I even added those to x and y properties of input.pos, and they can bring some interesting results. This is a test package I made for use on realSKY, after I experimented a little with values: realSKY_clouds_test.zip For each type of weather there is a different EnvClouds shader, so the look of clouds in each weather type can be customized separately via their own shaders. On Overcast and Inclement, clouds have been (unrealistically) added close to the 2d cloud layer (whose altitude and gameplay effect is terribly hardcoded), giving it a puffier 3d look as you approach it. Below shots show it clearly. Unless the bug with clouds disappearing abruptly is solved, this will remain a test package only. It's a pity, clouds look much better at realistic altitudes, but TK made it harder (if not impossible) for us modders to bring positive and bug-free changes, so "thank" him for that.

FW 190D, this is my final version of this device that includes all the experimental effects never seen in this simulator, this pack contains the plane with its corresponding cabin with 8 historical skins, plus one without insignia, to fly it with the nation you please , the new pilot of the luftwaffe (there are 2 lods, one with goggles and one without glasses, by default the pilot has glasses). I included all the weapons of the F model (THE ER4 MULTIPLE LAUNCHER THAT BY ERROR I WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE FW190F PACKAGE) even if this model only carries a bomb or 2 models of disposable tanks. I hope you enjoy it, more information in the readme file. Sorry my English is bad Torno.
