I could be wrong or seem prejudiced, but I would say that these subjects are the new generations, they still don't contribute anything and are already complaining about something... it's the fault of today's society that consents to everything. .then they are going to complain to someone else about the people from CA blocking them, why would that happen to them? clumsy!

I posted what I did to answer his question with no malice. People create duplicate accounts regularly to circumvent the download restrictions on average 4-5 times per day. I don't take offense to it the system automatically suspends the accounts. You can't blame the guy for trying.

Don't want to say you're wrong, but let's not generalize. I'm 27 years old and I can assure you I've been treated like crap online with tons of requests and subsequent complaints (for mods that come for free) by people whose age is ranging from 30 to 60. And surprisingly, I got positive attitude and comments by guys who are in college instead. Simply put, I think people who cannot behave themselves as mature adults in real life act like spoilt children online. I guess it has all to do with education. Luckily I received a good one. I would never want to be like that guy.

Personally, I'd LOVE to watch how it'd play out if someone tried pulling that kind of shit of the DAT site. (do we have an 'eating popcorn emoji???)

well, if he tries it again, i think he'll get found quickly acting like that. some folks dont know how to act sneaking back into banned sites
  7. 3 points
Dickhead, I wouldnt mind if the sub was expensive, some folk are just disrespectful morons, who think they can take the piss. A lifetime ban sounds applicable here to me.

You were suspended because even with all the warnings about only having one account you created a duplicate account to circumvent the download restrictions, which suspended all accounts belonging to you. For clarity, the accounts that were duplicated, Blitzer and jagdpanzer531, have been suspended.

You could be a bit more polite and grateful... instead of whining like a b*tch... There are other sites and fora regarding SF where you have NO downloads unless you pay and/or register... This community is mostly a labour of love... but the site doesn't run on air... So I hope you tone down and be happy with the arrangements they made here. A lot of modders offer their work here, and a simple thank you would suffice...

It costs money to maintain the site so the Admins came up with this restriction. If you want more downloads subscribe to the site.

Nieuport 27 skins of Escadrille 471 "Second Lafayette Escadrille" for First Eagles 2 This is a full squadron pack of skins & decals focused on the history of the "Second Lafayette Escadrille" - Escadrille 471. Historical notes: STRIKE FROM THE AIR THE EARLY YEARS OF THE US AIR FORCES by TERRY C. TREADWELL "On 15 February 1918, three former members of the Lafayette Escadrille – Lieutenants Meredith Dowd, Joseph Gill and George Willard – were transferred and joined the 2nd Escadrille Américaine, which was renumbered Esc.N.471 and became known unofficially as the Second Lafayette Escadrille. According to some historians, the squadron accounted for six enemy planes and one balloon, but little else is known about it. How or why it was given the same number as the original Lafayette Escadrille is not known, but it is thought it may have been initiated by the three pilots – Dowd, Gill and Willard – who were transferred to the squadron. There is one other possible explanation, however; the Camp Retranché de Paris Escadrilles numbered from 461 to 470 and the N.471 was created out of increasing demands to defend Paris. It is an accepted fact that both sides were desperate for pilots as the aircrew loss rate was extremely high. It was because of this that the 2nd Escadrille Américaine was created and fifteen other pilots were assigned to the squadron. The ground crews and support personnel were all French and the squadron was put under the command of Lieutenant Le Comte Sanche de Gramont as part of Groupe de Chasse 21, which was under the command of Colonel LeClerc. The squadron formed up at Le Bourget Field and began the task as ‘Defenders of Paris’, with particular attention being paid to the night raids carried out by German bombers. The aircraft supplied to the squadron were Nieuport 27s, used at the time as flight trainers. The mechanics soon fitted night landing flares on the lower wings, but these proved to be totally useless. Their tireless patrols were barely more than just a ‘flexing of muscles’ and the Germans continued to advance; so much so, in fact, that the squadron had to relocate to Château-Thierry, some 37 miles away. Things were now so desperate that orders went out to the pilots to fly low level along the German trenches and shoot everything that moved. This tactic, of course, was bound to take its toll in casualties, and the first to fall was the commanding officer Lieutenant Comte de Gramont on 3 July 1918. His place was taken by Lieutenant Walter L. Avery, USAS, who soon proved his worth by taking part in one of the fiercest ground-strafing missions that took place appropriately on 14 July, Bastille Day. For nearly two months the squadron flew virtually continuous strafing missions against the German ground forces, and by the middle of July the tide had been stemmed. The German advance had been halted and they had begun their retreat. The threat to Paris was over and the squadron was disbanded, the Americans being sent to various fighter squadrons. The 2nd Lafayette Escadrille was no more, but it had proved its worth. The transfer of the American pilots from the Lafayette Escadrille to the various USAS squadrons was held up for a period of more than six weeks. They were regarded as ‘civilian pilots’ no longer in the service of France but not recognized as members of the US Air Service. The formation of the 103rd Pursuit Squadron on 18 February saw the problem resolved". ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ** What you will find in this Nieuport 27 skin Pack: - A full set of skins & decals to 32 Nieuport 27s used by Esc 471 from February 1918 to July 1918. SF2 RA-5C Vigilante Pack v.2 9/27/2019 -For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) This is a revamp of Julhiem's RA-5C "Vigilante" carrier based recon aircraft. It has has several updates/upgrades/changes to make it more SF2 compliant. This is the complete aircraft, with everything included. If you have any earlier version(s) it is suggested you delete BOTH the aircaft and decals subfolders, as this version replaces them it toto. Or at least, remove or store them elsewhere. The aircraft comes with 6 skins, including the original released single skin. These skins are: RVAH-1 'Smokin' Tigers (USS Independence 1965, CVW-7, SEA, first combat cruise) RVAH-5 'Savage Sons' (USS Ranger CVW? 19??) ** RVAH-6 'Fleurs' (USS Kittyhawk 1971, CVW-11 SEA) RVAH-7 'Peacemakers' (USS Ranger, 1978/79, WesPac, Squadron's Final Cruise) RVAH-9 'Hoot Owls' (USS Saratoga 1967, CVW-3 Med cruise) RVAH-11 'Checkertails' (USS constellation, CVW-9 SEA 1971/72) **= original release skin Almost all markings are decals, excepting some painted-on squadron insignia. Serial/BuNums are 100% historically accurate (by unit) Decal randomization is TRUE. Skins remain in bmp format, as they're not that large. The SF2 "date switch" is active. The canopy opens/closes with the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero). As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. See "Notes" for list of changes. If there's anything missing or "off", please let me know and I'll try to find it. This mod got lost in the shuffle with several other large projects. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein

Example: C:\Users\username\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Additional Notes by FastCargo: Each model of B-1B has the ability to carry the specific weapons it was authorized for during that time frame. Most of these weapons are included in this package...the preset loadouts represent typical arrangements. The weapon stations have been setup so that you can only load the type and number of weapons for each bay in the loadout screen, reflecting real life limitations. Also, the maximum gross weight for takeoff at sea level is 470000 pounds...you can easily exceed this just with the default loadouts at full internal fuel weight. It is HIGHLY recommended to lower your internal fuel to 75% to get under the gross weight. At full gross weight, the AI and you will require the whole runway to takeoff...you will probably not 'unstick' until close to 200 knots. At minimum weight, it should only take about half the runway and about 160 knots unstick. Also, do not rotate above 9 degrees pitch on takeoff before you leave the runway...or you will scrape the tail and may crash. The FM has been through some major rework to get around the limitation that the sim has with large swing wings. The current FM setup is a compromise to allow docile handling with realistic performance. There are some weaknesses with it, mainly during mid altitude cruise flight tends to take more power than the real aircraft needs. You will find that the FM mimics the real thing in most limitations...lower altitude ceiling at full gross weight, faster roll rates with wings swept back, etc. Also, 'at the limit' handling has been much improved...much more difficult to stall at high speed. Handling is fairly carefree, simulating the real aircraft's fly by wire helping you keep the aircraft within limits. It is still possible to overG or stall...with bad consequences for both. For mission planning and the AI, the sim uses the 'CruiseSpeed' parameter to determine attack speed, and the LevelBombAI, ReleaseAlt to determine how high it's attack run is. Because of this, you may find the parameters for both to be different for each model. Here is the current list for each one: B-1B_86 - Speed-540 knots / Alt 1500 feet B-1B_92 - Speed-540 knots / Alt 1500 feet B-1B_96 - Speed-540 knots / Alt 600 feet B-1B_98 and 03 - Speed-320 knots / Alt 15000 feet The 2 later models are high and slow because they mostly do standoff and PGMs, which usually require altitude. The 2 earliest models are low alt, high speed for the nuke mission to get away from the blast (btw, you will NEED .9 mach and 1300 AGL to drop a gravity nuke...or you won't make it out of the blast radius). The middle model is same speed, but lower altitude because they didn't carry nukes anymore. We did our best. Enjoy.
