2 pointsnever had a problem with ground objects... just click the ini. pilots, the work as long as the ini and lod are present in their folder... weapons, they work most of the time; however you may need to click on the LOD itself for it to show (like in the AGM28 below)

1 pointWrench , I meant to show the weapons and pilots when looking the aircraft in LODViewer, just like in game. This will make much more simple to adjust and select the correct load.
-
1 pointThanks. Now it works. My fault was, that i clicked on the LOD files only and with stock objects we have no access to the LOD.
-
1 pointYes, it is. I had difficulty with this at first and I seem to recall it was something about where I saved it or where I asked it to point to.

1 pointThat aren't shadows. The "darkening" is caused by (diffuse) lighting: The more a part of the object faces the light source (in the LODViewer the light is at eye position) the brighter is becomes, and vice versa. The LODViewer GUI hasn't an option to enable/disable lighting (yet). But as a workaround you can adapt the fragment shader diff_decal.frag in the LODViewer's shaders directory to decrease or disable the diffuse lighting. The attached shader completely disables the diffuse lighting. HTH. diff_decal.frag

1 pointYour best bet would be to use Normal HUD (as it is also better in my opinion) and then just turning it off with ALT+D I just looked around the F-8E cockpit and found nothing that shows my ripple interval and quantity

1 pointSitRep: I'm still working on Energodar, town and nuclear powerplant. I added some more factories and other ground objects. Then i try to rework parts of the tiles which not match. And finally i have started to "plant trees".
-
1 pointSo the marking of the airfields at night now looks so: Two red light beacons, made by Yakarow, each placed 1.000 meters away from runway.
-
1 pointWith Swambasts help i try to create the Kakhovka high dam. He is making the objects, while i made a new tile and puzzle the parts together. Its not finished yet. I must still create 3 new tiles and then i hope, that the tiles will fit and will looking good.

1 pointSitRep: The progress of terrain modding was yesterday slow. I wasted my time to find a bug, which was a transport plane, that randomly appeared middle on the runway. After hours and hours of searching i finaly found the reason for the bug. It was a simple typo. I wrote "." instead ",". And again the old wisdom proved true: It are the little things that cause big troubles.

1 pointYakarow79 made the Nitka Ramp for the terrain. Its the ski jump ramp where the soviet and russian carrier pilots trained the take off from carrier.

1 pointOkay, thanks for the info. Edit: I removed the Krivaks from Sewastopol Harbour. Additionally i added some stock partolboats to the harbour. Lets see wheter they also cause a SEAD problem or not. Edit: Here the location of the target areas at Crimean Peninsula: More will come.
-
1 pointSitRep: The russian airfields are mostly done. Only the parking aircraft positions must still be fixed. I added some factory and storage areas at the Crimean peninsula, so that if you want to fly strike missions not only runways will be the choosen target. Screenshot: You see Sewastopol Harbor, as far it is already done. In the front is the Black Sea Fleet HQ complex, on the right the northern part of the harbour with some cargoships, warehouses and factories. On the left bank the beginning of the southern part of the harbour. It is not finished yet. If you use SF2NA as basic game you will find some Krivak frigates in the port. I think i will release the next Beta tomorrow.

1 pointChange the warhead weights to what you see below which accounts for the amount of incendiary in the Armor Piercing Incendiary/ Tracer (API/ API-T) rounds used in late WWII M2 .50cal belts and post WWII M3 .50cal belts. The figure I have used is based on the actual grams of incendiary in each shell averaged over the typical belt composition in the case of the M2 and then halved to account for the fact it is incendiary not explosive.

1 pointOkay, so now I'm feeling it. This Thundechief is the Cats Meow for dropping sh*t and hauling a$$ outta the drop zone............................. Until you forget just how big the weapon is. But it sure is pretty to look at. Tanks off, let's go downhill Now, to any sane person, this scene right here should have been a clue as to the outcome of what I'm about to do. Obviously, sanity is not a strong family trait.......... The attempted roll-out, flash, shockwave, "Oh Sh*t", and bail-out were almost simultaneous........Next time, "must go faster"

1 pointNow that I remembered what day it is....I'd gone after this target with a B-52 flight and got shot down. Tried it with F-100's and just couldn't get past all the SAMS and fighters that seem to love that area. So today was the F-105's turn, and it was a nice clear morning to go and kill this Communications Facility. At about 25 miles, my wingman started yelling about SAM Launches, "enemy planes were detected in my area" and since between the two of us we had exactly 0 AA missiles, I'd had about enough of that nonsense, and this was close enough. About a minute later, I cut of communications to a significant portion of the country, ended the SAM & Mig threat, and other than some temporary flash blindness, had an uneventful ride home.
