5 pointsI have started to create an industrial area near the town of Pilar, north west of Buenos Aires.

4 pointsI don't want to steal the Rio de la Plata terrain post, so I will post this as a new threat. I asked permission to the new YAP manager in order to post this here, and got it, so everything is clear and approved. I attached the data of their "Target aircraft", is a "plane" that is on the ground and that is attacked by helo gunners. It works, as I tried in my own missions. Maybe someone here can find it interesting and maybe even improved. Thanks to the members of YAP Revamp Works Project by allowing me to post this on CA. Target_DATA.INI

4 pointsPilar industrial complex is finished. I placed some Flak in the middle. Make a nice firework. Its astonishing, that Flak hits something. This time the tailsection of my wingman. BTW: Does Argentina has SAM?

3 pointsOkay, it's possible But there's many things to do. It's a mod designed for 1st generation install, not for SF2. So if you follow the instructions you have 0 chance of making it work. - use an ini file made for SF2 - create a "Photo" folder for the all files provided in the mod and put it in the Pilots folder - create a TGA file with the bmp file, and reverse the photo upside down (Any problem PM me) Then you can follow the instructions of the mod readme and it will need tens of "launch game / check /exit game / adjust" to have the photo where you want it. If you have a doubt, try with [Photo] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT Position=(here the position figures you want) PilotModelName= SeatID=3 (or SeatID=2 if it's a single seater, or more 4-5... if it's a multiple crew aircraft or using fakepilot trick) and you shoud have a pilot floating in the cockpit. The pilot is easier to check than the photo and as there's no LOD indicated it will be the stock pilot by default. If you don't see the pilot something is wrong. It's a tricky mod to use, but it's brilliant lol

3 pointsIt's a 1st gen mod It's based on the "OpenCockpit=TRUE" cockpit with a 3D model photograph as a fake pilot.

2 pointsThanks Gepard!!! for the uruguayan side you can add Botnia Paperworks, near Fray Bentos and Gualeguaychú on the coast of the Rio Uruguay. this factory caused an international incident and protestors blocked the international bridge for more than 3 years. "Tabaré Vázquez mentioned in October 2011 that he had considered the possibility of an armed conflict with Argentina over the topic, and sought support of the United States (during the presidency of George Bush) in such a case. He had interviews with Condoleezza Rice, and ordered the military commanders to stay ready" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uruguay_River_pulp_mill_dispute

1 pointGame rules for this thread: Same Unit, different aircraft. Major changes preferred, although in some cases like KC-135, F-4D to E, and C-130 different models could be ok. and you gotta name the unit and rough year of the change. to kick off, the 120th Fighter Squadron, Colorado Air National Guard. A-7D to F-16C, 1992

1 pointI really loved all your Su-35 versions. Prime work!!! But for me, who fly in HARD settings, looks like they all try to roll to left by themselves. Maybe you should check this in the future.

1 pointI fail to see where I've been negative. Actually, I wanted to add something positive, that is, more correct information instead of such a misleading topic title. It's okay, next time I'll simply shut up.

1 pointRussian sources claim R-77-SD have 100km range, AIM-120-C-7 is claimed to have 120km. Ramjet R-77-PD is supposed to have more, but no one has seen it in actual service - unicorn missile

1 pointThere's a mod by FastCargo that does just that. Check the Downloads section and I would tell you the exact name if I remembered it. Should be in either the SF1 or SF2 section.

1 point..so it works. Then try this : [GunnerCanopy] SystemType=HIGHLIFT_DEVICE DeploymentMethod=AUTOMATIC_SPEED Setting[1].Angle=0.0 Setting[1].DeployValue=59 Setting[1].RetractValue=60 Setting[2].Angle=30.0 Setting[2].DeployValue=60 Setting[2].RetractValue=59 MaxDeflection=30.0 MinDeflection=0.0 ControlRate=2.0 AnimationID=9 The ModelNodeName is only needed if you want to add some aero coefficients, as drag for example (just my guess).

1 pointThe small airport near Villa Gesell: It is a long, small runway with one service area, in reality used for civil light aircrafts.

1 pointbut supremely frustrating when you find 21 serials for one squadron, and 14 for the sister squadron in a wing. and youve already spent 10 days on Google and bought a couple magazines on eBay rewarding when you get it. but frustrating while on the journey

1 pointthis missile drives me crazy , i have the dimensions for it from the net , length 3,32 meters ( 10.9 feet ) diameter 0,23 meter ( 9.1 inch ) , so i made a cylinder with exact this dimension an made the missile out of it , than i added details and try to make the skin but i discovered that what ever i made it did not work there was always a mismatch with the pictures i have , so i changed the length of that missile to 3,96 meters and i was able to get everything done , but i like to have the missile with the length mention in the net , so scaled the missile just along the x axis until i got the right measurement with the result that some of the circular openings in the missile body are no longer round , but it is just a bit so i let it oval now Red Top missile , it took a long time to do this one but it is done now

1 pointDuring Bay of Pigs VA-34 A-4B Skyhaks from the USS Essex flew a CAP/ escort mission with the intention of protecting the Rebal A-26 Invaders but due to a timing cock up were an hour late and missed engaging the Cuban T-33A fighters. They also flew multiple reconnaissance flights over the invasion beach throughout the incident. Due to President Kennedy insisting that there be no proof of US involvement the Skyhawks had their USN markings painted over. This was one of the first VSF Skyhawk detachments and the A-4B could not carry the AIM-9 at this point so Skyhawks operating over Cuba just had two wing drop tanks plus thier 20mm cannons.
