2 pointsYou're confused about WoE. The first generation of Strike Fighters games never had sounds for chaff and flares. Strike Fighters 2 never added them either. Sounds are probably the worst part of Strike Fighters. If you're hit, deploy countermeasures or drop bombs, there's no sound associated with those events. Nothing we can do, it's another limitation of the game engine.

1 pointOkay here's the first release of it. I forgot to mention in the readme that its hooked for direct input and has a virtual joystick. That will allow you to configure the game flight controls to keyboard and cam to mouse. (I don't think the virtual Joystick if selected in game will work) Its best to stay with keyboard until you get a physical joystick. 1 pointView File Su-7/Su-17 cockpit variant + new cockpit for M4 Small package of cockpit improvements for Su-7/17 ------- Su-7: cockpit by Stary - fixed misspelling and typos on labels, converted files to reduce size, fixed flaps/airbrake indicators, pilot's POV - nothing too drastic -------------- Su-17 - original cockpit for Su-17 looks old (judging by the files, it was made in 2003), here possible replacements: First gen Su-17s (Su-17, Su-17M (Su-20), Su-17M1 (Su-22)) get aforementioned Su-7 pit. It fits fine considering the time period. Second gen Su-17s (Su-17M3 (Su-22M, Su-22M3), Su-17M4 (Su-22M4)) get pit from Su-25. While not a fully accurate replacement, pits of those two jets do share a lot of similarities. Su-25K pit adapted for Su-17: - changed airspeed and Mach indicators - correct weapon stations indicators Also fixed a couple of other problems: - original fuel indicator doesn't work - missing nodes; adapted former second engine exhaust temp indicator to show fuel quantity - it is in the lower right corner - altimeter missing hand for thousands (Soviet altimeters have two hands - one for hundreds, other for thousands) - just changed the single hand to show both with adapted altimeter texture ----------- Installation: remove old cockpit folder, cockpit_ and avionics_ files; drop in new files. new cockpit_ and avionics_ inis should be renamed accordingly to work properly ---------- Su-25K cockpit is taken from here: https://combatace.com/files/file/17601-su-25_frogfoot/ Submitter OlWilly Submitted 05/25/2023 Category Jet Cockpits

1 pointView File Ukrainian Air Force Su-27P /HARMed Version An Ukrainian Air Force Su-27P according to Twitter pictures. The green radar fairing, the black fake cockpit pattern on the bottom used to confuse the enemy, and the old debris camouflage are its characteristics. In the leaked image, this Su-27 is carrying the American-made AGM-88 anti-radiation missile, just like the Mig-29 on the media platform earlier. This mod is based on SU-27 Flanker 1.1.0 by torno, who graciously allowed me to package the mod in its entirety and upload it here. In this mod, in addition to quoting the original decals, I used the template provided by the original author to redraw, and also adjusted the engine data and weapon pylon data of the original mod to be more realistic and compatible with AGM88. Hope you guys like it. P.S. Thanks to ravenclaw_007 who provides exquisite LAU-118 rail resource. Usage: Copy Objects folders into your SF2 main folder Submitter simonmiller416 Submitted 07/04/2023 Category Su-27

1 pointJust playing around with ravenclaw's Walleyes. They're a dream to use and doesn't require scientific calculations to use, regardless of airframe. Using an A-7A for this trip.

1 pointSome Prowler time. I was lined up perfect for a few seconds but with the deck moving it didn't work out that way.
-
1 pointI use my free flight map as a quasi-range too, filling a valley with some vehicles for some plinking and just to do something different rather than just fly around and stuff. Didn't do as good on the trap but I made it and that's what matters.

1 point76th TFS 75th TFS (with the checker you remember) and to round out 74th TFS you are right about the base though. they kept similar schemes through the A-10 years. 76th deactivated until a couple years back, the 74th stayed same until they traded Vipers back for Hogs, and the 75th has only gained a "75th" title in the checkers, otherwise staying the same through the years

1 pointProbably because it is close to impossible to find a picture of the Corsair II with fully clean wings. I have come across pictures with 2 pylons removed, one on each wing, but not all at the same time. Here are a couple of pictures I consider to be popular with the middle pylons removed: Note, that in the second picture, the innermost pylon is still there despite being empty. May be a drop tank was hanging there and was dropped before the picture was taken, who knows... I would say that considering the lack of pictures of Corsairs II without pylons, TK decided to represent the aircraft with pylons on at all times.

1 pointI was planning to do something about it the moment I will get into Air Force SLUFFs....well it did not happen yet. more seriously...I did not research the topic yet. once I asked for some pictorial walkaround but seems like my guy did not have time or chance to do it yet...

1 pointoh yeah, should probably mention i'm playing with loadouts Iron Hand guys, prep to be disappointed. the Air Guard didnt really do the Weasel thin in SLUFs, and so those are now omitted. It was the Navy E's that were wired for Shrike and HARM... but assymetrical loadout can make life.... interesting
