2 pointsPurchased assets. I'd build little things like electronic warfare pods or somthing detailed in cockpit, but I don't think I would normally start modeling from compeletly scratch, that would probably take me more than one hundred years lmao.

2 pointsI must apologize!!! It's wasn't Rex , but Mike Machat part 2 of the Douglas propliners. the color still of the "Air France" DC-4 coming into Santa Monica. I took a screen shot of the image; it almost looks like the housing development has begun. Just past the 'white street' should be where Armacost Ave will be. The paved street in the foreground "should be" Bundy Drive (turns into Centinella off the right edge of the photo). If I knew exactly what year it was taken, I could be more sure. Mom & Dad bought the house brand new build in 1954. So, there we are!

1 pointI'd like to share the landing lights entries I have, if you don't mind. The original entries are : [NGLandingLight] SystemType=LIGHT Position=0.125,5.84,-1.004 LightSrcOffset=0.0,6.0,-0.2 Color=0.66,0.66,0.6 Brightness=0.05 LightSrcRange=5.0 CanFlash=FALSE IsLandingLight=TRUE [LeftLandingLight] SystemType=LIGHT Position=-1.277,0.354,-0.971 LightSrcOffset=0.0,6.0,-0.2 Color=0.66,0.66,0.6 Brightness=0.05 LightSrcRange=5.0 CanFlash=FALSE IsLandingLight=TRUE [RightLandingLight] SystemType=LIGHT Position=1.277,0.354,-0.971 LightSrcOffset=0.0,6.0,-0.2 Color=0.66,0.66,0.6 Brightness=0.05 LightSrcRange=5.0 CanFlash=FALSE IsLandingLight=TRUE Lights 6 meters forward of the aircraft, 5 meters range and it gives : The entries I've changed are : [NGLandingLight] SystemType=LIGHT Position=0.125,5.84,-1.004 Color=0.66,0.66,0.6 Brightness=0.05 LightSrcOffset=-0.125,135.0,7.5 LightSrcRange=100.0 LightRange=100.0 CanFlash=FALSE IsLandingLight=TRUE [LeftLandingLight] SystemType=LIGHT Position=-1.277,0.354,-0.971 Color=0.66,0.66,0.6 Brightness=0.05 LightSrcOffset=1.277,90.0,5.0 LightSrcRange=100.0 LightRange=100.0 CanFlash=FALSE IsLandingLight=TRUE [RightLandingLight] SystemType=LIGHT Position=1.277,0.354,-0.971 Color=0.66,0.66,0.6 Brightness=0.05 LightSrcOffset=-1.277,45.0,2.5 LightSrcRange=75.0 LightRange=100.0 CanFlash=FALSE IsLandingLight=TRUE which is wrong because on the real plane there's 3 beam of light combining, and what I've done is 3 lights creating one beam of light. In game it gives :

1 pointBecause of the C-130 work SU-33's were inbound as I was leaving..

1 pointI have to say that the F-35C is growing on me a little bit. It still needs a lot of work (hopefully simonmiller416's version is better) but for now it will replace the F-16. I mean the F-16 is okay, but it just has so little fuel and well, doesn't land on carriers, which is probably why it doesn't appeal to me.

1 pointNo and yes and depends (I wouldn't bother) The Eagle Dynamics videos might be of use for some of the procedures cant say about other videos you may be looking at. However there are different systems in each.....and each game environment is very different. DCS only does a USAF Block 50...............BMS on the other hand does a ton of different variants................for example has a different Data Link, data cartridge, an AG radar, different weapons (MITL etc), LANTIRN to name a few things...........the DCS one also is missing a lot of things in a lot of areas currently.
