From "The Modern Phantom Guide": Beginning in the late 1970s, many F-4s received an arrow-shaped reinforcement plate on the stabilators. They are found on the top and bottom of the stabilators of nearly all F-4Cs and F-4Ds, many RF-4Cs, F-4Gs, and early F-4Es. Most late-model F-4Es (fy72 and later) did not receive them, while some received only the top plates, but not the bottoms, or vice versa. They were also applied to export F-4s, including many F-4Fs and most F-4EJs and RF-4Es, but not all aircraft received them.

SF2 TMF Mirage IIIE (AdA) Upgrade/Remod Pack 3/14/2024 -For SF2, Any and All- (Full 5 Merged Suggested) This is a full upgrade/remod pack for The Mirage Factory's Dassault Mirage IIIE as used by the French Air Force. Even though there is =NOT= a stock 3W Mirage IIIE, this is set up and labeled to cause NO conflicts with any (other) Mirages available within the game. Skins remain in their original bmp format. All necessary items are provided, weapons, pilots, seats, sounds, effects, and so forth (most weapons used ARE stock 3W items, excepting drop tanks). A new User List has also been created (see note about that in the "Notes" below). This aircraft is supplied with 3 skins: EC 1/13 Artois (NMF) EC 2/4 La Fayette (EuroCamo <1968) EC 3/3 Ardennes (EuroCamo <1980) Each skin has 26 id letters/serial numbers. Almost all markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. As you can see above, the SF2 Date Switch is in effect. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown you'll see: Mirage IIIE (TMF) So you can't mistake them for anything else but TMF Birds (tm). As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, as always, in the Notes section below. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein For Oli and The Mirage Factory

Now for the updated parking for the Nimitz class carriers. Again, this is slightly different to the parking slots posted in the ODS30AE forum. This is the original stock parking.. And the updated version.. Again, I've left a parking spot for your plane to taxi into after you finish your mission.. To overwrite in your CVN-68_DATA.ini ParkingChance=100 ParkingMaxSpan=12.0 Parking[01].Heading=270 Parking[01].Offset=26.37,38.40 Parking[02].Heading=270 Parking[02].Offset=26.37,26.42 Parking[03].Heading=270 Parking[03].Offset=26.37,15.24 Parking[04].Heading=270 Parking[04].Offset=28.30,-79.35 Parking[05].Heading=270 Parking[05].Offset=26.37,-19.96 Parking[06].Heading=090 Parking[06].Offset=14.0,-35.0 Parking[07].Heading=270 Parking[07].Offset=16.0,-44.0 Parking[08].Heading=090 Parking[08].Offset=15.0,-53.0 Parking[09].Heading=270 Parking[09].Offset=10.0,-23.96 Parking[10].Heading=270 Parking[10].Offset=28.30,-91.36 Parking[11].Heading=270 Parking[11].Offset=26.0,-105.0 Parking[12].Heading=270 Parking[12].Offset=25.5.0,-114.0 Parking[13].Heading=270 Parking[13].Offset=25.0,-123.0 Happy landings (and parking)

I made a few edits to the parking on the Kitty Hawk to give a more crowded deck (this is slightly different to the version that I posted in the ODS30 thread so you will get a bit of variety in your different installs). From this stock parking.. To this.. Make sure you're on the right approach angle, it's a pretty tight squeeze onto the deck... And when you get down in one piece, I left a parking spot for you to taxi to.. And that all important text to copy into your CVA-63_DATA.ini file... Hi madvad, Have you changed the [Frontline] settings in the campaign DATA.INI file to match the Iceland02 map? Those are right at the end of the DATA.INI file. If you just used the same frontline settings from the stock Thirdwire Iceland map, then the campaign engine won't work properly on the Iceland02 map. That's one explanation for the immediate loss you are seeing. The frontline for a campaign has to be plotted using map co-ordinates for your campaign terrain, so that it runs from one side of the map to the other. All of the friendly strategic nodes have to be on one side of the frontline, and all of the enemy strategic nodes have to be on the other side. As ground units capture strategic nodes, the campaign engine will move the frontline dynamically. You may need to play around with the number and position of plotted points on your frontline to get the campaign engine to work properly. I hope that helps. Anyway, I'm glad to see you are enjoying my little Iceland terrain! That takes me back a few years.... Slainthe!

Took a quick unarmed flight around a free flight mission, and found it more maneuverable than the stock TW birds. you can actually maneuver around and it feels natural. It looks good too in the cockpit, didn't pick up that much of an issue, and the framerates were good (I mean it was just me flying around too).

Included are three RAF manuals from WWII. "Bag the Hun" is fairly well known and available from other sources. The RAF "Manual of Air Tactics" was more difficult to find, I ended up reaching out to and paying for a copy from the British Archives. If you are trying to fly accurate tactics in a Battle of Britain mission this is for you. The last manual "Tactical Bulletin 15" is actually USAAF pilot Reade Tilley's "Hints on Hun Hunting, issued to allied pilots flying in the Mediterranean theatre, and marks the shift in tactics and formations from the Finger-Four to Line Abreast. Interesting stuff.
